[OVERVIEW]
With its great support movepool and three excellent abilities, Corsola could mislead some into thinking it is viable. Don't let its adorable face fool you; Corsola has a mediocre typing, leaving it weak to some of the most common attackers in the tiers like Rotom, Tangela, and Sawk, in addition to underwhelming stats. There is no reason to use it over the many other walls the tier has to offer like Miltank, Palossand, and Tangela.
[SET]
Special Wall (Corsola) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Rock Slide
- Toxic
- Recover
[SET COMMENTS]
With this set, Corsola tries to take advantage of passive foes like Miltank that can't 2HKO it to set up Stealth Rock and punish U-turn from foes like Articuno. Corsola's stats are so mediocre and make it so passive, so it fails to threaten most attackers, and it is even weak to very common offensive types in Fighting, Electric, and Grass. SS ZU is full of far better walls that are able to withstand the threats of the tier, such as Miltank, Palossand, Tangela, and Rhydon, which also retain some of Corsola's traits like its access to both Stealth Rock and reliable recovery, its Regenerator ability, or a similar typing paired with better stats.
