EVs: 252Atk/252Spe/4Def
Adamant Nature
- Hammer Arm
- U-turn
- Earthquake
- Smack Down
So basically the opponent predicts you to click rocks and switch in their weavile but then you click hammer arm to completly dispatch the weavile on the switch here are some relevant calcs for this set
252+ Atk Landorus-Therian Hammer Arm vs. 252 HP / 80 Def Ferrothorn: 192-228 (54.5 - 64.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252+ Atk Soft Sand Landorus-Therian Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Corviknight: 324-384 (81 - 96%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
Possible damage amounts: (324, 330, 332, 336, 338, 344, 348, 350, 356, 360, 362, 366, 372, 374, 378, 384) after corv has been hit with smack down
252+ Atk Landorus-Therian Hammer Arm vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Kyurem: 284-336 (72.6 - 85.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

counter mew

:rs/mew:

Mew @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 4 SpD / 12 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Counter
- Soft-Boiled
- Spikes
- Seismic Toss

doesnt lose much from running its initial utility set except losing to lele maybe

you lure the weavile into clicking knock off and its instantly removed from the game by returning double damage, even at +2. its impossible to win weav vs mew trades if you're the mew player outside of colbur and large physdef investment, which is the main draw behind this set; usually a bad play to stay in and this set can contradict that without a crit.
i feel like i'm missing something here... maybe you wanted to give it colbur berry, but you gave it leftovers, which doesn't survive +2 knock off and has no way to punish weavile for sding

+2 252 Atk Weavile Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Mew: 432-510 (106.9 - 126.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

also i would probably just run body press instead of counter; i know that counter has much more blowout potential, but imagine the scenario where an opposing weavile stays in, dances and you click counter; he might sniff out the colbur, since it's been used on slowbro for similar purposes.

Tornadus-Therian (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Rash Nature
- Hurricane
- Superpower / Heat Wave
- Knock Off / Sludge Wave
- U-turn

Scarf Torn can surprise Weavile predicting a switch or KO'ing torn with Triple Axel and hit it with Superpower or Heat Wave depending on what you need. Knock Off can criple defensive pokemon while Sludge Wave hits the Tapus and Clef. The other 2 moves are standard. Hurricane for STAB and U-turn to pivot

4 Atk Tornadus-Therian Superpower vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Weavile: 492-580 (175 - 206.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Tornadus-Therian Heat Wave vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Weavile: 230-272 (81.8 - 96.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Weavile Ice Shard vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Tornadus-Therian: 224-266 (74.9 - 88.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Heatran can use a teammate to bait weavile to triple axel while that teammate switches to heatran and will result in a 66% to give it a burn and doing 37.5%. If weavile is at +2 and it triple axel'ed and did not get burnt with this set heatran lives +2 knock off after stealth rocks, triple axel max damage into knock off and can guarantee to beat it with body press.

+2 252+ Atk Weavile Triple Axel (40 BP) (3 hits) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Heatran: 69-84 (17.8 - 21.7%) -- approx. possible 6HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
+2 252+ Atk Weavile Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Heatran: 228-268 (59 - 69.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

this round's threat is... Toxapex!

:ss/toxapex:
Toxapex @ Rocky Helmet / Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 144 Def / 112 SpD
Impish Nature
- Knock Off
- Scald / Toxic / Toxic Spikes
- Recover

- Haze

The Pex has taken over lure that thread to wall all of your setup sweepers! since 2016, pex has been aterrorizing OU thanks to its great defensive stats, defensive typing and great movepool, that allow it to be a roadblock for a lot of common Pokemon in the meta, such as Weavile and Urshifu-R. how would you bait in and kill the pex?

you have 5 days to post a Toxapex lure. happy posting! :^

reserving psychic torn-t
:ss/tornadus-therian:
Tornadus-Therian (M) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 64 SpA / 168 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hurricane
- Nasty Plot
- Psychic

- Focus Blast
Pretty straight forward, a +2 hurricane cant ohko toxapex which means it can haze away your boosts which means you cant ko it with the following hurricane (this is all assuming all of them connect since its approximately a coin flip), so toxapex can threaten you back with toxic

Psychic gives you a reliable Method of dealing with toxapex, without having to land 2 hurricanes, not much more to it,

Weavile is a psycho lol who's surprised tho
:bw/weavile:
Weavile @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly/Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Triple Axel
- Knock Off
- Psycho Cut

Pretty straightforward, pex is one of the absolute best checks to weav, if not the best.
All you gotta do is become a psycho

+2 252 Atk Weavile Psycho Cut vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Toxapex: 154-182 (50.6 - 59.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

This calc kinda neat tho lol exactly 50 min

Also helps vs moistshifu btw and like random blaziken maybe idk

+2 252 Atk Weavile Psycho Cut vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Urshifu-Rapid-Strike: 288-340 (84.4 - 99.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

This is a sad calc tho needs adamant rocks

+2 252+ Atk Weavile Psycho Cut vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Urshifu-Rapid-Strike: 316-372 (92.6 - 109%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

Sed lyf frfr
Have a good day everyone :blobwizard:
