By an overwhelming amount, Hippowdon by Martin wins! Congrats!

Now, our next victim is none other than...

:ss/toxapex:
Toxapex @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Recover
- Haze
- Knock Off / Baneful Bunker/ Toxic
Toxapex! Considered by many to be an incredible pokemon, even overhwlming for the tier, with Regnerator and its ability to cripple everything with a burn, poison, or item removal, teams tend to get annoyed heavily by this Water/Poison type, but how will you keep away this regenerating ocean atrocity?

:ss/reuniclus:
Reuniclus @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 212 Def / 44 Spe
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock
- Recover
- Thunder

Reuniclus serves as a counter against Toxapex which straight up uses Toxapex as set up fodder , not fearing on getting worn down by Scald burns or Toxic damage thanks to Magic Guard. Access to reliable recovery Reuniclus can freely set up on Toxapex and can break through it with ease with the Life Orb boost , and if it's Knock Off variants then you still beat Toxapex as +1 Psyshock still does a lot even more if you land Thunder.

Alakazam
:ss/alakazam:
Alakazam @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 28 Def / 228 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
- Recover

Alakazam is one of the best checks to Toxapex thanks to its ability Magic Guard, negating any form of consistent damage from Scald or Toxic, completely forcing it out with Psychic. Recover lets you stall out Scald turns, proceeding to get up a few Nasty Plots. However, it must be careful of Knock Off variants, because it will actually do quite alot prior to Alakazam's poor bulk.

magnezone

:ss/Magnezone:
Magnezone @ Choice Specs
Ability: Analytic
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Flash Cannon
- Volt Switch
- Toxic

:magnezone: checks toxapex as it cannot get poisened by its toxic / baneful bunker and magnezone can scare toxapex out or just straight up OHKO it with its stab thunderbolt or volt switch out to get a strong wallbreaker in. magnezone doesnt take much from toxapex' scald either. however magnezone fears the scald-burns making it vulnerable in the process as it crippled. but in overall magnezone doesnt fear toxapex as a stab thunderbolt is a clear OHKO.

calcs:
252+ SpA Choice Specs Magnezone Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Toxapex: 356-422 (117.1 - 138.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Choice Specs Magnezone Volt Switch vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Toxapex: 278-330 (91.4 - 108.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
0 SpA Toxapex Scald vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Magnezone: 58-69 (20.6 - 24.5%) -- 3.8% chance to 4HKO after Stealth Rock

Slowbro-Galar @ Choice Specs
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 236 HP / 220 SpA / 52 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic
- Shell Side Arm
- Flamethrower
- Grass Knot
220+ SpA Choice Specs Slowbro-Galar Psychic vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Toxapex: 290-344 (95.3 - 113.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
Slowbro-Galar is a counter to Toxapex. While it is definitely fringe, it can take any hit from Toxapex and threaten it out. It can even absorb burn from Scald or take a Knock Off. It is by no means the most viable Toxapex answer, but it has some interesting defensive and offensive utility; it can poison Mandibuzz, heavily chunk or OHKO steel-type switch-ins like Corviknight and Ferrothorn, and break through Clefable. The spread given hits a Regen number and guaranteed lives +2 Hawlucha Acrobatics, but it might necessitate more speed depending on the team.

Clefable @ Sticky Barb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Soft-Boiled
- Stealth Rock
- Trick

This set of clef pisses the hell of toxapex, not only is toxapex not gaining its black sludge recovery but its taking 12% every turn, hindering it from doing much in the game. Not only that but clef also makes sure that toxapex can't do anything to clefable due to magic guard, and once its barb is tricked, clefable dosent care much about knock, scald, or toxic. Toxapex is hindered through the game and makes your time easier breaking through this toxic bunker

Toxtricity @ Choice Specs
Ability: Punk Rock
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Overdrive
- Boomburst
- Volt Switch
- Sludge Bomb

Toxtricity doesn't care about Toxic and has little to fear from Toxapex's Scald. In return, it OHKOes Toxapex with a Choice Specs Overdrive or pressure it heavily to switch out with Volt Switch. Take note that if Toxapex Knocks Off Toxtricity's Choice Specs, Overdrive does not OHKO it although Toxapex will still take 82% minimum.

0 SpA Toxapex Scald vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Toxtricity: 69-82 (23.7 - 28.1%) -- 91.1% chance to 4HKO
0- Atk Toxapex Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Toxtricity: 58-69 (19.9 - 23.7%) -- possible 5HKO
252+ SpA Choice Specs Punk Rock Toxtricity Overdrive vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Toxapex: 374-445 (123 - 146.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Choice Specs Toxtricity Volt Switch vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Toxapex: 254-300 (83.5 - 98.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ SpA Choice Specs Punk Rock Toxtricity Boomburst vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Toxapex: 220-259 (72.3 - 85.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252+ SpA Punk Rock Toxtricity Overdrive vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Toxapex: 252-299 (82.8 - 98.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ SpA Toxtricity Volt Switch vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Toxapex: 168-200 (55.2 - 65.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ SpA Punk Rock Toxtricity Boomburst vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Toxapex: 147-173 (48.3 - 56.9%) -- 90.2% chance to 2HKO

Suprised nobody made this nom before, so here goes.

:sm/heracross:
Heracross @ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Close Combat
- Facade
- Knock Off

One of the few breakers that can switch in reliably, since as long as it's already burned it cares very little about knock off and scald burns don't matter to it due to guts. Earthquake deals more than half agaisnt pex, so it can't just spam recover and its black sludge is vulnerable to being removed. If you need more powah, Adamant is fine, but you get outsped by Togekiss and lose the speed tie agaisnt Rillaboom. Either way EQ does over half anyway.

252 Atk Guts Heracross Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Toxapex: 170-202 (55.9 - 66.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Black Sludge recovery

0 SpA Toxapex Scald vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Heracross: 55-66 (18.2 - 21.9%) -- 18.1% chance to 4HKO after burn damage

:ss/blissey:
Blissey (F) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 200 HP / 252 Def / 56 SpD
Bold Nature
- Seismic Toss
- Soft-Boiled
- Toxic
- Teleport

Blissey is a solid check to Pex, which can't really do much to it. Yes, losing your item sucks, but that's the case for pretty much every pokemon in the tier at the moment. Once Blissey has lost it's item, Pex is essentially free momentum to it. "Oh Pex is in? Well good thing I have this Blissey decently healthy, it can't do anything". The crux of Blissey being a good check to Pex is its stupid bulk, and access to Teleport. Natural Cure is also a large part of the equation, allowing Blissey to take a Toxic and not really care about it. Teleport allows Blissey to either gain switch momentum, or safely bring in one of the above checks or counters.

Azumarill Perish Trapper
Azumarill @ Leftovers
Ability: Sap Sipper
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Whirlpool
- Perish Song
- Rest
- Protect

This set is amazing considering many Toxapex users like to switch in Azumarill. You can use this as bait and trap it with Whirlpool. Use Perish Song. Spam Protect and Rest. Then either stay or switch out watching poor Pex faint from Perish Song. Most moves from Pex definitely won't bother Azumarill because Burn and Toxic can be easily recovered through Rest (Although Sleep sucks) or Leftovers from the Burn. Knock off can be bad because you'll lose that Leftovers. But other than that. This set hard counters Pex. I have use this mon multiple times against Pex and it kills it easily. This set can also be used against common Grass types such as Rillaboom. Considering the ability Sap Sipper let's you become immune to its Grass moves.

Kyurem @ Metronome / Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Freeze-Dry
- Icicle Spear
- Substitute
- Roost
Kyurem serves as a check to Toxapex. It can overwhelm Toxapex with Freeze-Dry being boosted by Metronome, or just stall all of Pex`s Recover PP if you`re running HDB since Recover has 16 PP and Freeze-Dry has 32 PP, in addition to Pex being unable to break its Substitutes. But it is not quite a free switch-in tho, you must be aware of Toxic since it complicates Kyurem`s role of subbing up and PP stalling, even getting burned by Scald is sometimes bad, because in addition to the passive damage taken it lowers Icicle Spear power and cancels the capability of breaking through Blissey, which is a common face alongside Toxapex.

0 SpA Kyurem Freeze-Dry vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Toxapex: 140-168 (46 - 55.2%) -- 61.3% chance to 2HKO
0 SpA Metronome Kyurem Freeze-Dry vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Toxapex: 168-202 (55.2 - 66.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO (second time w/ Metronome)
0 SpA Metronome Kyurem Freeze-Dry vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Toxapex: 280-336 (92.1 - 110.5%) -- 56.3% chance to 1HKO (max power w/ Metronome)

0 SpA Toxapex Scald vs. 252 HP / 0- SpD Kyurem: 32-38 (7 - 8.3%) -- possibly the worst move ever
0- Atk Toxapex Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Kyurem: 47-56 (10.3 - 12.3%) -- possible 8HKO
