IVs: 0 Atk
- Toxic Spikes/ Toxic
- Recover
- Scald/ Knock Off
- Haze
Pretty surprised no one nomed it but here it is finally, Mareanie is the TRUE COUNTER to Mawile :
Mareanie is not even 4hkoed by Mawile and has a small chance of being 2hkoed at +2. It has access to haze to nullify the boosts so that mawile is never capable to kill it. In addition to that, Mareanie forces out mawile because it has access to Scald that does decent damage and can burn and Knock off that just knocks the life orb and makes mawile weaker. Having access to recover as an ability allows mareanie to switch out multiple times without being force to spam recover to keep his hps high.
252+ Atk Life Orb Sheer Force Mawile Play Rough vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Mareanie: 66-78 (21.7 - 25.7%) -- 1% chance to 4HKO
+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Sheer Force Mawile Play Rough vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Mareanie: 131-155 (43.2 - 51.1%) -- 4.7% chance to 2HKO
0 SpA Mareanie Scald vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Mawile: 72-85 (29.8 - 35.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

Hi everyone, I nominate Stonjourner as a check to mawile, cuz it can switch on every attack from LO maw and can outspeed + ohko with heat crash/eq

Calcs :
252+ Atk Life Orb Sheer Force Mawile Play Rough vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Stonjourner: 157-187 (46 - 54.8%) -- 62.1% chance to 2HKO

Nominating Hippopotas as a Mawile check :

:hippopotas:
Hippopotas @ Eviolite
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Slack Off
- Earthquake
- Whirlwind

Hippopotas can switch in mawile easily at +0, and take a hit at +2. In return, you can make him switch out with whirlwind or kill him with eq if he is low enough in hp. He also can set up hasard and has a good longevity with slack off.

Here are the calcs :

252+ Atk Life Orb Sheer Force Mawile Play Rough vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Hippopotas: 117-138 (34.4 - 40.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Sheer Force Mawile Play Rough vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Hippopotas: 231-273 (67.9 - 80.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

0 Atk Hippopotas Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mawile: 188-224 (78 - 92.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

:Pyukumuku:
Pyukumuku @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Block
- Recover
- Toxic
- Soak

Pyukumuku does what it's best to; stopping setup sweepers and Mawile is no exception.
It ignores Sword Dance, Sucker Punch is useless, Iron Head can't 6OHKO it and Play Rough can only 3OHKO it.

While Pyukumuku can trap it, Soak Mawile so her moves do not get stab bonus, Toxic to outstall Mawile and has recovery so it can heal up and switch out multiple times. Which is why Pyukumuku is a Counter to Mawile.
252+ Atk Life Orb Sheer Force Mawile Play Rough vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Pyukumuku: 122-146 (38.8 - 46.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
(Soak) 252+ Atk Life Orb Sheer Force Mawile Play Rough vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Pyukumuku: 82-97 (26.1 - 30.8%) -- 10.5% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Overheat / Flamethrower
- Volt Switch
- Switcheroo

Check. Cannot take an unboosted Play Rough from Mawile, but it can take an Iron Head:

252+ Atk Life Orb Sheer Force Mawile Play Rough vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Manectric: 308-364 (109.6 - 129.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ Atk Life Orb Sheer Force Mawile Iron Head vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Manectric: 136-162 (48.3 - 57.6%) -- 94.9% chance to 2HKO

But, should Mane come in safely (which it always should because lets face it, Mane is not a counter to anything lol), it can OHKO with either STAB Thunderbolt or Overheat/Flamethrower:

252 SpA Choice Specs Manectric Thunderbolt vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Mawile: 306-360 (126.9 - 149.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Manectric Overheat vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Mawile: 586-690 (243.1 - 286.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Pincurchin @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Electric Surge
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Zing Zap
- Sucker Punch
- Recover
- Spikes
Pincurchin is a very strong defensive counter to Silvally-Flying for its ability to comfortably switch into any attack Silvally wants to throw its way, even after a Swords Dance. On top of this, Pincurchin can threaten the Silvally with a powerful Zing Zap which easily OHKOs after some minor chip or conversely, finishing it off with Sucker Punch after Rocky Helmet chip.

Pincurchin can also heal off any unwanted damage taken from weaker attacks from Silvally through Recover, if Silvally has not already boosted or even set up hazards on the switch assuming Silvally realizes it cannot do much to the yellow Pyukumuku.

Here are some calcs to prove it.

+2 252 Atk Silvally-Flying Multi-Attack vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Pincurchin: 117-138 (39 - 46%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

4 Atk Pincurchin Sucker Punch vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Silvally-Flying: 53-63 (16 - 19%) -- guaranteed OHKO

INSANE CARZY GUY

Banned deucer.
Suicide Steam Engine Carkol as Counter

I wanted to build something hyper offense to really make sure their u-turn would count for a as little as possible(I wouldn't u-turn a Carkol with my sweeper) and could also just perfectly fit all the little pieces perfectly.

This one was a really fun puzzle to put together, nothing a crafty Carkol Can't solve.
Burn up is always the big brain turn 1 play cause turn 2 You stone edge and even if they SD and try to avoid any speed boost and ko with +2 into surf, well You won't be fire type anymore to +2 Mutli->surf

0- SpA Silvally-Flying Surf vs. 40 HP / 168 SpD Eviolite Carkol: 80-96 (25.7 - 30.8%) [without fire typing]

Nominating Klang as a counter to silvally fly. Indeed, Klang isn’t 2hko by +4 MAttacks and isn’t 3hko by flamethrower (which is An optional move).

:ss/Raichu:
Raichu @ Life Orb
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Thunderbolt
- Grass Knot
- Focus Blast

:Raichu: is a check to this silvally-form as it can not only come in on multi-attack twice but also can come in on surf / flamethrower and can either threaten silvally-flying out
or straight up ohko it in return with its own stab-option in thunderbolt. raichu is also faster therefore it is able to revenge kill this silvally-form or use it as
set-up fodder while threatening silvally-flying out. grass knot hits ground-types, which make up good teammates for silvally-flying and focus blast takes care of
dark- and steel-types and threatens them from the get go due to its high base power. due to the aforementioned reasons raichu is a really good check to
this particular silvally-form.

calcs:

252 SpA Life Orb Raichu Thunderbolt vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Silvally-Flying: 312-369 (94.2 - 111.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

reserving Manectric

Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk

I mean, come on. Not only does Silvally Flying have 0 way to outspeed Manectric because it doesnt run Flame Charge (which is gimmicky and easy to beat). But Silvally Flying will never be able to live a Specs Tbolt from Manectric. Somehow it has a chance to live Specs Volt Switch - I have no idea how - but thunderbolt oneshots, which is the point.
Manectric is also extremely good now that the best ground type (and the only one besides Whiscash that didn't have to run eviolite) in Silvally-ground is in PUBL. Manectric now only has to deal with the likes of Palpitoad :Palpitoad:, Whiscash :Whiscash:, Mudbray :Mudbray: and maybe the occasional Munchlax :Munchlax:; Out of these four mons, the first three just get bopped by grass types like Gourgeist :Gourgeist: or Shiinotic :Shiinotic:, and the latter gets absolutely destroyed by a fighting type such as Throh :Throh: (especially) and Grapploct :Grapploct:.

Not only that, but fighting and grass are both weak to the feared Flyvally :Silvally: (Flying). They greatly appreciate the help of Mane oneshotting this thing. This is the most powerful electric for a reason.

252 SpA Choice Specs Manectric Thunderbolt vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Silvally-Flying: 396-468 (119.6 - 141.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Manectric Volt Switch vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Silvally-Flying: 308-366 (93 - 110.5%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO

Ability: RKS System
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Multi-Attack

- Swords Dance / Defog

What better way to beat a Silvally than your own Silvally? Silvally-Electric can take any hit from Silvally-Flying and threaten it back with an almost guaranteed OHKO with its own Multi Attack. And unlike Silvally-Rock, it isn't weak to any of Silvally's other coverage options since it has no Ground move.

252 Atk Silvally-Electric Multi-Attack vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Silvally-Flying: 330-390 (99.6 - 117.8%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO
