SSS RMT of OU

I'd like to say I didn't, but I joined almost nearly for the purpose of posting my team to be rated. If you have problems reading my posting form, you have problems reading. I'm not completely exposed to the harshness of some unusual movesets though.

History:
I've first created the team no Heatran as well as no Vaporeon around 3 weeks ago. I've been battling daily since I've resparked my interest in them. My original lineup was Hippowdon, Tyranitar, Skarmory, Scizor, Lucario, Swampert. It did not fancy too well around fighting types. Especially Machamps SubPunch. My playstyle mostly revolves around heavy prediction and the feeling of happiness I get from outsmarting my opponent. Then I switched in Heatran and Vaporeon which is obviously benefitted my team alot (creds to "tom riddle" on Shoddy Battle for advising me). Trust me, I've been trying to get in a Gliscor and/or a Rotom on my team, but from my perspective, I don't see what I need to replace. It's not necessary that I have a Gliscor and/or a Rotom, but it could help.

Pokemon: Hippowdon (M) Impish @ Leftovers; Sand Stream
EV Spread: 252 HP, 152 Def, 104 sDef
Moveset:
Earthquake/Rockslide
Stealth Rock
Slack Off
Roar

Obviously, I prefer having sandstorm come in first up. Earthquake is to take out any leads that I'm sure I can 2hko, 'less they switch. Stealth Rock should be obvious, as extra residual dmg in a sandstorm team is necessary. Roar is to phaze, but with Hippowdon's sluggish speed, I can only catch them off guard. Rockslide is an option over Earthquake when it comes to levitating leads such as Azelf, Tauntdactyl and Brongzong.

Pokemon: Heatran (M) Naive @ Choice Scarf; Flash Fire
EV Spread:252 Speed, 252 sAtk, 4sDef
Moveset:
Earthpower
Flamethrower
Hidden Power Electric
Explosion

Hidden Power Electric should still outspeed 1 DD Gyarados, Explosion also solves my Blissey problem, which half the time, I do not want my Lucario to be revealed yet. Flamethrower over Fire Blast mostly because I am more cautious and don't wanna risk anything. Also can come in when Fire moves, possibly even Hidden Power ones, aimed at half my team.

Pokemon: Scizor (M) Careful @ Occa Berry; Technician
EV Spread: 252 HP, 4 Atk, 252sDef
Moveset:
Bullet Punch
Pursuit
Swords Dance
Roost

General Scizor at first, many believe to be CB'd or Life Orbed, that's when they usually send in a sAttacker, which intends to specially flame it, Occa Berry activates, and gives me a free turn to swords dance. Usually, I fire off pursuits as quick as I can when a Dusknoir comes in. Bullet Punches obvious, Roost, extended life.

Pokemon: Vaporeon (M) Careful @ Choice Specs; Water Absorb
EV Spread:212 Def, 44 Speed, 252 sAtk
Moveset:
Surf
Ice Beam
Signal Beam
Hidden Power Grass

Amazing synergy for most of the team. Comes in when water aimed at Heatran, boost, attempt fainting. Hidden Power Grass is chosen for Swamperts, Lanturn, and the less frequent Quagsire, which I lost to when it Cursed itself continously, then I realized I don't have a grass move anywhere. Signal Beam is beautiful for when I know opponent will switch but I'm unsure of what to.

Pokemon:Swampert (M) Careful @ Leftovers; Torrent
EV Spread: 252 HP, 40 Def, 216 sDef
Moveset:
Curse
Rest
Sleep Talk
Waterfall

My specially defensive Poke. Can absorb fire attacks, and when a Breloom or Smeargle does come onto the field, this is the pokemon to switch to as the SleepTalk does enable it to possibly fire off one move. Quite risky when Breloom carriers a Seed Bomb, but damage to it is welcomed while Scizor can bullet punch it off before it gets too dangerous.

Pokemon: Lucario (M) Adamant @ Expert Belt; Inner Focus
EV Spread: 252 Atk, 252 Speed, 4 sDef
Moveset:
Close Combat
Crunch
Extremespeed
Thunderpunch

One of the main reasons I send in Lucario is for Close Combat. After it's first attack, and most likely, surprising dmg, will hopefully think I'm choice banded, sending in their Ghost, while I bite them down with a glorious Crunch.

So there's my team, hope you enjoyed reading it. CnC please.
Also, if you're asking why I might not use a TTar, it's because I'm a hipster. Also, I thought that having a phazer is much better than the multiple sweepers on my team is better. Of course there's the option to get both, as in to revive sandstorm if one goes down, but if you've read my problem in the "history" paragraph, I can't seem what could be replaced, if there be needing to.

I think that most of my threats would be the SkarmBliss combination, which I try to minimize the danger, and the fact that I do not have a rapid spinner. Also a person that completely copies my team.

CnC please,

Hey man, congrats on your first post!

2)You say you want a Gliscor, which is a great fit for a sandstorm team. I'd recommend it over Swampert. While kind of effective, Cursepert is still walled by pokemon such as Kingdra and Suicune, who set up on you, and Vaporeon, who you literally cannot damage. Swords Dance Gliscor takes less time to set up than Swampert, and provides better type coverage and a nice ability in Sand Veil. A good set would be:
Gliscor@Life Orb/Leftovers
Swords Dance
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Roost/Aerial Ace/Filler

2)Scizor wants Brick Break, or Superpower over Roost. he almost always has better things to do than heal, and your current moveset leaves you completely walled by your fellow Steels, especially Heatran. Brick Break allows you to hit them for SE damage so you can continue your sweep.

3)Swords Dance somewhere on Lucario. Without it, he is too easily revenge killed thanks to his middling Speed; an unboosted Extremespeed does just 37% to a Flygon (Who outspeeds you, Scarfed or not), and that's with no Defense or HP EVs. However, change the item to a Life Orb and get a SD boost, and you've got a good chance at a OHKO after Stealth Rock damage.

On a factual note, Scarftran doesn't outspeed a +1 Offensive Gyarados. if that's your only counter (it looks like it is) you may want to find another one. HP Electric is a better choice on Vaproeon; Swampert, Lanturn, and especially Quagsire are all uncommon, much more so than Suicune, Gyarados, and opposing Vaporeon.

Besides that, good job and good luck!

Hey, thanks for responding.

Ima start with two first

2) I'd rather Roost over a fighting move because I like my Swords Dancing at it's summit. If a heatran were to come in, I'd rather give up the boosts and switch to my Heatran, or my waters than lose a valuable member ofmy team.

1)I assume that I should use the ev's from the SD set listed on Gliscor's page? Anyways, thanks for the recommendation, I'll consider it greatly.

3)Was goin for more of a type coverage feel. But which move should be replaced? Thunderpunch more likely if we're subbing Vap's HP type to electric.

On that factual note, all those pokemon seem to be screwing me over and showing up, but I do have fun OHKO'ing Gyaradoseses when it was electric. It just seems that grass, does cover ground types as well.

2) Okay. That's fine if you're using him more mid game than late.
1) yeah, just use the standard EVs on Smogon's page, and adjust if you need to.
3) For sure Thunderpunch.

And while HP Grass does hit Ground types, so does a STAB super effective Hydro Pump. Having a safety net in HP Grass can be nice, but if your predictions are sharp then HP Electric is by far the better option.
