Ogerpon-Cornerstone (F) @ Cornerstone Mask
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Diamond Storm
- Power Whip
- Pyro Ball

Beneath the mask lies a shapeshifter! In STABmons, Ogerpon-C gains access to the STAB moves of all Ogerpon formes, in this case letting it run Pyro Ball. Swords Dance adds to Ogerpon-C's ferocious offenses and makes it nigh-impossible to wall, OHKOing physically defensive Gholdengo and, with a bit of chip damage, Toxapex and Gliscor. Pyro Ball hits Steel-types Ogerpon-C would struggle with otherwise, notably Corviknight, Skarmory, and the aforementioned Gholdengo. While Ogerpon-C's offensive prowess is close to unmatched, its lack of Speed and defensive utility makes it require good defensive stalwarts like Toxapex, Landorus-T, and Ting-Lu as teammates to check faster threats like Weavile, Zamazenta, and Choice Scarf Landorus-T. Alternatively, Ogerpon-C can be paired with Sticky Web setters like Forretress and Scizor, slowing down would-be revenge-killers like the aforementioned Zamazenta and slower Choice Scarf users like Urshifu-R and Walking Wake.

Beneath the mask lies a shapeshifter! Courtesy of STABmons' unique mechanics, Ogerpon-C not only gains new STAB options, but also allows it to gain the STAB moves its masked counterparts would've recieved, in this case being Pyro Ball. Swords Dance adds on to Ogerpon-C's naturally high offenses by making it nigh-impossible to wall, with targets that could've lived an unboosted hit, like physically defensive Gholdengo, Toxapex, and Gliscor, finding themselves at risk of being or outright OHKOed after a bit of chip This sentence is perhaps a mouthful, could just be something like "Swords dance makes ogerpon almost unwallable, with it being able to ohko X, Y, and Z after a boost" or whatever! Pyro Ball allows Ogerpon-C to hit the Steel-types it would struggle with otherwise, notably Corviknight, Skarmory, and the aforementioned Gholdengo. While Ogerpon-C's offensive prowess is close to unmatched, its lack of speed and defensive utility makes it require good defensive stalwarts like Toxapex, Landorus-T, and Ting-Lu as teammates to help check faster threats that force it out like Weavile, Zamazenta, and Choice Scarf Gholdengo Landorus-T Scarf Ghold isn't wrong but why not add a little more variety, make sure to change the latter mention of scarf ghold as well. Alternatively, Ogerpon-C can be paired with Sticky Web setters like Forretress and Kleavor Scizor Scizor is usually preferred due to naturally blocking Mortal Spin, where its high damage output is appreciated while slowing down would-be revenge-killers like the aforementioned Zamazenta and Choice Scarf Gholdengo as well as Choice Scarf Urshifu-R.
