Latios (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Clanging Scales
- Lumina Crash
- Flip Turn
- Trick / Lunar Dance

It might not drop a Draco, but Latios still hits like a meteor in STABmons! Clanging Scales is an excellent alternative to Draco Meteor, trading some initial power for a far more manageable Defense drop, making Latios a far more effective cleaner and 2HKOing foes like physically defensive Landorus-T. Lumina Crash, meanwhile, leverages the guaranteed Special Defense drop to cut through foes like Toxapex and Gliscor. Flip Turn lets Latios pivot into teammates like Thundurus-T and Ogerpon-C, while Trick allows itto burden foes like Tyranitar and Slowking with a Choice Scarf. Alternatively, Lunar Dance allows Latios to sacrifice itself to bring a teammate like Kingambit or Iron Valiant back to full fighting form. Latios can fit on a variety of teams, from balance to hyper offense, but tends to appreciate teammates like Zamazenta, Weavile, and Thundurus-T who can threaten switch-ins like Tyranitar, Gholdengo, and Corviknight. Bulky pivots like Tyranitar and Rotom-W also make good teammates, eating a hit and bringing Latios in to revenge kill.

It might not drop a Draco, but Latios still hits like a meteor in STABmons! Clanging Scales is an excellent alternative to Draco Meteor, trading some initial power for a far more manageable Defense drop, could also mention how it being a sound move lets it more get past sub mons, mainly walking wake, but it isn't that necessary and can be ignored it it gets too long or wordy making Latios a far more effective cleaner and 2HKOing foes like physically defensive Landorus-T. you could add that it still ohkoes raging bolt, walking wake or opposing latios despite being weaker than draco, again as long as it's not too long / wordy Lumina Crash, meanwhile, leverages the guaranteed Special Defense drop to cut through foes like Toxapex and Gliscor. Flip Turn lets Latios pivot into teammates like Thundurus-T and Ogerpon-C, while Trick allows it spacebar to burden foes like Tyranitar and Slowking would also add ting-lu here if mentioning 3 mons isn't too much, and if it is then I would replace slowking with it since ttar + ting lu are by far the 2 biggest obstacles to latios with a Choice Scarf. Alternatively, Lunar Dance allows Latios to sacrifice itself to bring a teammate like Kingambit or Iron Valiant IVal isn't a great lunar dance recipient because it loses the speed booster when you heal it up, and it doesn't have the bulk to live a lot of relevant hits and switch out. I'd probably say volcarona instead back to full fighting form. Latios can fit on a variety of teams, from balance to hyper offense, but tends to appreciate teammates like Zamazenta, Weavile, and Thundurus-T with the removal of corvi then this should prob also go, and instead you could mention like rillaboom who can threaten switch-ins like Tyranitar, Gholdengo, and Corviknight. Would again mention ting-lu instead because it's so common and latios really can't do anything to it except trick and spam flip turn Bulky pivots like Tyranitar Parting Shot ttar is rare these days, flip turn pex should probably be here instead since pex flipping into lati to revenge is often the counterplay for a lot of mons and Rotom-W also make good teammates, eating a hit and bringing Latios in to revenge kill.

QC 1/1, ty for writing this so quickly. Hope you have a nice day!
