HI everyone,
it would mean a great deal to me if some people (or just someone!) could take a look at this team and give me a hand!
Personally, i've been working on this team for a while and believe that it is quite solid, but am open to suggestions!! :)
Here's the team!
Tyranitar
Azumarill
Talonflame
Tentacruel
Bisharp
Garchmp (Mega)
Tyranitar @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 196 Atk / 252 HP / 60 SpD
Bold Nature
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Crunch
- Stone Edge
Tyranitar is often my lead pokemon, I mainly use him to set up rocks but also he does have a good attack stat that comes in handy! Nature and EV's are to give him some defensive bulk as sandstorm takes care of special defense. I am not running a smooth rock because the sandstorm is mainly for Mega-Garchomp, and my other pokes do not appreciate it so much.
NOTE
*TYRANITAR IS NOT PULLING ITS WEIGHT ON THIS TEAM, SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE APPRECIATED GREATLY!*
Azumarill @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Belly Drum
- Aqua Jet
- Play Rough
- Superpower
Standard BellyJet Azumarill set, very powerful! Nothing more to say!
Tentacruel @ Black Sludge
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 240 Def / 252 HP / 16 Spd
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Ice Beam
- Toxic
- Rapid Spin
As my teams spinner, Tentacruel does a fantastic job. The added poison typing is a gift to my team as it is able to wall some of the powerful fighting type that plague OU, namely Conkeldurr, which is further helped by the ability of liquid ooze, dealing off extra damage to drain punch conkeldurr. EV's and nature are to maximize physical bulk as always.
Talonflame @ Sky Plate
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- Swords Dance
- Me First
Not the average Talonflame, but it works very well with my team. Brave Bird and Flare Blitz are standard on almost all Talonflame. As this is a swords dance set, I have not opted for U-turn. It has been suggested to me that I should invest into a more bulky build and have Roost, so advice would be helpful, however this is working rather rather well for me so far. Last slot goes to me first, very handy for killing off dragon types in particular.
Bisharp @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Iron Head
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Swords Dance
After only one Swords Dance, Bisharp is a nightmare to deal with, EV spread and nature is to maximixe on the lacking special bulk of Bisharp and to maximize on Bisharp's good attack. I dont particularly want to change anything with this guy but I am open to suggestions.
Garchomp @ Garchompite
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Spe / 224 Atk / 32 SAtk
Naive Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast
- Poison Jab
Finally my mega-Pokemon is Garchomp, he works very well with the team, and as 3 members of my team are weak to electric type moves, he works very well indeed. Moveset is pretty standard, nature is as not to lower special Attack for Draco Meteor. EV's are also pretty standard.
Finally, If you have indeed read this whole article I would like to say thank you!!
I am very open to suggestions and comments, and would love to hear from you!
