I'll start off by saying this is my second RMT. I don't post very often, and haven't really been on the forums for too long, but I'm not bad at pokemon and really wanted this team rated. I present to everybody...
My first stall team!

I've been playing pokemon competitively for about 6 months now. I've never made a full on stall team before, I usually make offensive teams. It might seem like a weird time to make a stall team in 6th gen because defog is oh so popular right now, but I think this team is still capable. I titled it Stahp! because it's an annoying team to face. I've gotten to the 1900's with this team.

The Team

Giratina @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 240 HP / 232 Def / 36 Spd
Impish Nature
- Rest
- Will-O-Wisp
- Roar
- Sleep Talk

The Great Wall himself, Giratina. You'd be in the wrong to not use Giratina on a stall team. Giratina puts a full stop to Mewtwo-Mega-X, burning it cripples it for the rest of the game, and if it subs it can just roar it out. Using the rest-talk set makes it impossible to take down, and pressure allows it to PP stall if it comes to that. Pressure is also nice in wasting th opponent's heal bells/ aromatherapies if they have it. I put 36 speed evs to speed creep other base 90 pokes. Max defense and HP allows it to take any physical hit.

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 112 Atk / 144 SDef
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spd
- Leech Seed
- Stealth Rock
- Gyro Ball
- Spikes

Ferrothorn is quite possibly the most annoying pokemon in existence. 112 attack evs with a brave nature ensures an OHKO with gyro ball on non-defensive Xerneas after a geomancy. I put the remaining evs in HP and special defense because giratina is already physically defensive. Stealth rock and spikes help giratina with phasing. Leech seed is important for getting extra health back and can mean an extra turn of stalling.

Ho-Oh @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 248 HP / 120 Atk / 104 SDef / 36 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Roost
- Sacred Fire
- Brave Bird
- Substitute

Ho-Oh helps putting offensive pressure on Scizor-mega and other defoggers. Since defog is so popular it helps Ho-Oh live longer, although defog is not helpful in the long run. If Ho-Oh can kill off defoggers, then there will be an easy time stalling. The evs allow Ho-Oh to live special hits, and return with a nice powerful attack. Ho-Oh hits the steel types that are immune to Tentacruel's toxic spikes. 36 evs allow it to outspeed groudons, and then proceed to sub-stall the stone edges. It's also good against lead deoxys-s/a, tanking any hit and then potentially burning with sacred fire.

tentacruel.gif.v.zIOCfLFdV4LjOMI-GNmEFw

Tentacruel @ Black Sludge
Ability: Rain Dish
EVs: 252 HP / 32 Def / 224 SDef
Calm Nature
- Knock Off
- Rapid Spin
- Toxic Spikes
- Scald

I usually lead with tentacruel to get off toxic spikes, being very important for this team. Toxic spikes are awesome because the opponent usually switches around before defogging. With the knock off boost this gen, I had to use it. Forever getting rid of a pokemon's leftovers speeds up the stalling immensely, or knocking off chansey's eviolite allows Ho-Oh to hit it harder.

gastrodon.gif.v.3dz-khPFgWsIqQrHCXwTJA

Gastrodon @ Leftovers
Ability: Storm Drain
EVs: 248 Def / 252 HP / 8 Spd
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Toxic
- Recover
- Earth Power

Gastrodon fixes all of Tentacruel's problems. Toxic-ing flying types and getting nice hits on poison and steel types makes stalling so much easier. Gastrodon is also great for countering choiced kyogres, which there have been a lot recently. Being physically defensive, he can survive hits from Ho-Oh and toxic it for stalling later in the match. 8 speed evs allow it to outspeed forretress.

umbreon.gif.v.nXgrJVORsA5lD41Igm1x9g

Umbreon @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 Def
Careful Nature
- Foul Play
- Heal Bell
- Wish
- Protect

Umbreon is the star of the team. A really nice counter to Mega-Mewtwo-Y, taking aura spheres like nothing and OHKOing (well, min damage is 99.7%) with foul play if MMY doesn't have defense evs. Psystrike doesn't affect umbreon, which is why i think its better than blissey. Heal bell and wish allow the team to survive so much longer. Foul play also OHKOs arceus ghost after an SD.

Conclusion

This team is far from unstoppable. Xerneas with focus blast and thunderbolt obliterates my team, and if arceus is running shadow force giratina can't handle it and I get swept. Any advice will be considered and feel free to try this team out for yourself! Stall isn't everyone's cup of tea though, I've had a match that was on the 90th turn before.

I'm no expert on stall nor on ubers, but after doing some calcs, either specially defensive AV Tyranitar or defensive Arceus-Dark seem to totally outclass Umbreon at its role as a Mewtwo-Y counter. Tyranitar takes the Aura Sphere rather easily and can trap Mewtwo with Pursuit while Arceus-Dark takes even less from Aura Sphere and has recover to heal up. Ttar additionally brings sandstorm with it for some extra residual damage and can lure Ferrothorns and Forretresses and kill them with Fire Blast, while Arceus-Dark can burn things and phaze them out. The sets:

Tyranitar @ Assault Vest
Ability: Sand Stream
EV's: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Atk
Sassy Nature
- Crunch
- Pursuit
- Stone Edge / Fire Blast / Ice Beam
- Superpower / Fire Blast / Ice Beam

Arceus-Dark @ Dread Plate
Ability: Multitype
EV's: 252 HP / 40 Def / 212 SpD
Careful Nature
- Recover
- Payback
- Will-O-Wisp
- Roar

While t-tar is more of an offensive approach, I really think sandstorm could help out quite a bit. Arceus-Dark would help taking care of giratina also, if I substitute payback for judgement. However, I already feel arceus-dark is outclassed by giratina in the sense of burning things and phasing. I think umbreon's niche is that it can heal bell and wish, which this team needs, while countering the big threat MMY. I'll try out your sets and see how they are, as both benefit the team immensely. Thank you for replying :)

Xerneas runs through you upon setting up. While Ferrothorn can take a hit or two from it (Moonblast does 69-83%), it can't really do enough to KO back, and then the rest of your team is easily OHKOd by it. I'd suggest switching Gastrodon for one of the Arceus variants (any of them take it on but Dark, Fighting, and Dragon, so long as it has Roar).
