Hello,
Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Power Whip
- Gyro Ball
- Protect
- Leech Seed
I have chosen Ferrothorn because he is an absolute beast. He does lots of damage with Gyro Ball and Power whip. Most importantly, protect leech seed ferro can do lots of work against a lot of teams. Ferrothorn is basically here to spread leech seed against stuff like urshifu and tran to help wear them down for other memebers of the team, and give me an offensive answer to stuff like gengar and fini. Iron barbs, leftovers for recovery and a standard full phys def, full hp set to help him tank on the defensive side.
Kyurem @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Reflect
- Roost
- Freeze-Dry
- Substitute
I have chosen Kyurem because he helps with balance teams with pressure, and he serves as a dual support to both ferrothorn and quagsire, helping deal better with rain teams with the former and set up reflect for the latter. Kyurem's role on the team is to use switchins to set up sub and act as an absolute nuisance. He gets 101 hp subs, allowing me to pressure stall Blissey, and can waste a lot of Slowking's Galar's moves assuming that he doesn't get poisoned. Reflect is good if they have set up mons, b/c physical dmg is prevalent in the meta, lots of physical hard hitters. roost, sub is standard for pressure stall. freeze dry to help with rain, and also do good chunk of dmg to fini. reason why i chose reflect over ep is because, altho tran is terrible, i wanted an answer against physical threats such as urshifu more. HDb over lefties b.c its hard for me to get rid of hazards.
Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Moonblast
- Fire Blast
- Soft-Boiled
I chose Clefable, because she is the primary lead for this team and has Magic guard to help my team soak up status. She has good tank stats, and does decent chunks of damage. Her primary role on the team is to set up rocks against common defoggers like defensive lando-t and zapdos, and to give a good fairy type. She is the second SpDef wall on the team. Kyu and Conkeldurr really struggle against fairy types, so she is helpful there as a wall against fini and stuff. Soft boiled and Moonblast hit common Dark and Fighting types in the meta, and Fire Blast so things like Ferro and Scizor can't switch in for free. She's sorta like TankChomp.
Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Static
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Discharge
- Roost
- Heat Wave
- Defog
I have chosen Zapdos because well, he is a beast. I used him in Gen 7 Ou, too. Zapdos is one of my favorite mons, because of the Zap-Quag ultimate defensive core, what can i say its OG. Zapdos primary role on the team is to block common threats like Kartana, serve as a dual Knock Off sponger with Conk, and defog hazards on the team. Static is annoying against urshifu, and contact based attackers, having para is nice since kyu is sorta fast and can take advantage of it. Full defensive. Lefties over HDb because the recovery feels mandatory. I ran HDb and it didn't feel as good, if rocks come up i still have kyu-b and clefable. heat wave for steel types.
Conkeldurr @ Assault Vest
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Ice Punch
- Mach Punch
- Drain Punch
The MVP of this team. This guys is irreplaceble since he's the MVP. I chose him because he provides so much needed offensive power against Tran. Magma Storm + Taunt single handlely rips aparts this team so Conkeldurr serves as a threat with mach punch. He can tank Magma storm, but not on switch in's. Conkeldur'ss primary role besides mach punching is to soak status. I run AV so he can be SpDef oriented, Ice punch over fire because of lando-t and garchomp, and drain punch so he can stay in the fight for longer.
Quagsire @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Scald
- Toxic
- Earthquake
- Recover
I chose Quagsire because I needed an Unaware mon, and what better Unaware mon than Quaggie the GOAT. Quagsire's primary role is to deal loads of damage, and deal with non giga, non-sub volc, sorta help against tran, and toxic common sr users, and common defog users like zap and lando. This is the one mon u don't wanna get toxic'd because then my team is gg and ff is only a few steps away. Scald over haze because i wanted the offensive power, and burns are very nice. Eq for more damage, and leftovers because hdb is useless on quag, save for the not so common spikes, tspikes.
Team building process: I was like **** Chansey, I want something dfiferent. And then I made this team.

And there you have it, my team. heatran, blissey, and urshifu seem to be the biggest threats i currently face.
