"Stall Me"

Well I thought I was due to make an RMT, especially considering i've hit one of those moments where im incapable of building a fully functioning team -.-. I've also recently discovered Tormentran, who is an absolute beast given the right support, so I decided to try and build a semi-stall team based around him. The results were decent, but far from perfect, the team managed to sit me conforable in the low/mid 1200's untill I ran into constant Baton Pass teams >.>, but anyway, its 3am, im bored, so it't time to type :P.
Team Building Process

Since I feel more comfortable as a semi-stall player, I decided to build this team around a newly found love, Torment Tran. I played around with heatran sets on other teams while using it in a Gliscor/Heatran core, and after a while, Torment Tran just pulled teams apart, being paired with Gliscor's Toxic support made it all the sweeter!

As I mentioned earlier, Heatran + Toxic support can rip apart teams, so being a semi-stall team, I thought I would go with a Toxic Spikes hazard setter. This was between Forretress and Scolipede but I felt Scolipedes offensive capabilities were not as usefull in this situation compared to Forretress' use as a utility-mon, plus Forretress is capable of luring fire attacks for Heatran to switch into.

Next choice was Defensive Rotom-W, this was firstly for the Ground immunity, and being capable of switching in and threatening some of Heatrans checks. Paired with Will-O-Wisp, Rotom-W can effectively cripple pokemon that are not succeptible to Toxic Spikes, as I dont like having to rely on Lava Plumes 30% burn rate.

At this point, I remembered an old rainstall team of mine and Maka's, arguably one of our most successfull collaborative teams that we have made, and the key of that team was SubRoost Dragonite, Maka decided the set for the team and it shocked me because I hadn't seen it before, however it worked wonders for stalling and sweeping so I felt it would be capable of doing a similar job here only this time it is in a weatherless environment. This may be a little bit of an issue against sand teams but I guess only testing will tell.

Next I needed to throw in a bulky special attacker that can leave dents, and with my relatively slow(er than most) team, I felt Trick Room Reuniclus could fit in just fine. Reuniclus allows me to shake up faster threats, and also allows me to take on opposing Heatrans and Terrakion (however must be wary of banded X-Scizor). Reuniclus can help deal with sand too thanks to his immunity to residual damage, so sand and Toxic Gliscor are no longer a notable issue.

Finally I have Gastrodon, not any major reason why I chose him, he just seemed to fit in with the team. Gastrodon can keep rain at bay, namingly Jirachi and Tentacruel. Gastrodon also provides me with another Toxic user, and with his bulk alongside reliable recovery, can stall some opponents out quite effectively. He also provides me with a vital electric and water immunity, this makes Rotom-W think twice before switching in, Gastrodon also deters opponents firing off Hydro Pump's and the like at Heatran at risk of giving me a Storm Drain boost.

After testing Skarmory and Jellicent as suggested by Charlie Scene, I decided to put them in the team in place of Rotom-W and Reuniclus. First of all, Jellicent provides me with an all important spin blocker to keep me in the game if I happen to lose one or more of my hazard setters. Jellicent can also spread burns with Scald alike Rotom-W could, only Jellicent is bulkier and plays a utility role much more effectively than Rotom-W did. Next Skarmory was suggested in the place of Reuniclus, firstly Skarmory was a much more reliable physical wall than Reuniclus, whilt giving me the ability to stack spikes effectively, making Heatrans job much easier. Skarmory is also a much more reliable check to Scizor, and also Baton Pass teams thanks to Whirlwind, two things that the team desperately needed help with.
In Depth

Heatran (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 244 HP / 44 SDef / 220 Spd
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Lava Plume
- Torment
- Protect
- Substitute
Torment Heatran is the key of this team, with the right toxic support, he can set up a sub, torment the opponent, and stall them out by alternating between Protect and Lava Plume, and its usually as simple as that... unless of course the opponent has some brain cells and trys to predict my protect, but this isn't too much of an issue anyway as they break my sub, then im able to set it up again next turn. The main reason torment works so well this way is due to the fact that very few pokemon will carry 2 moves that can hit Heatran for a substantial amount of damage, perhaps barring dual STAB Gastrodon.

Forretress (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 176 Def / 80 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Toxic Spikes
- Stealth Rock
- Rapid Spin
- Volt Switch
Forretress has Toxic Spikes as it is essential for Heatran to work at its best. this Forretress is pretty standard however, it runs rocks to break Nites multiscale and Volcarona, provides reliable Rapid Spin support, and also runs HP Ice. This is a little different, but thanks to his physical bulk, Forretress is capable of switching into an Outrage and then KOing with HP Ice quite easilly, helping to get rid of annoyances such as DNite and Salamence early. HP Ice was replaced by Volt Switch, as I figured Dragons are now handled quite well by this team, so the ability to escape a Magnezone and get a free switch into whatever I want felt like a better use of the last moveslot.

Jellicent (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 148 Def / 108 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
-Scald
-Will-O-Wisp
-Taunt
-Recover
Jellicent can work as a brilliant stall breaker thanks to reliable recovery and taunt. Scald allows Jellicent to spread burn status, with a standard Recover and Taunt to allow it to stall out its opponents. Jellicents main property is his Ghost typing allowing him to act as a Spin Blocker as well as a bulky water, and this is vital to my team considering my team revolves around hazards. Shadow Ball is there as insurance against opposing Starmies, allowing me to 2HKO them before they KO me with Thunderbolt. Slight change in EVs here, I pumped 108 EVs into Speed to ensure I can outspeed opposing Jellicents (as this is my only safe way of handling them aside from a free switch into Dragonite), Skarmory, and also Vaporeon, allowing me to Taunt them before they set up/wish pass.
Rotom-W

Rotom-W @ Chesto Berry
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 96 HP / 252 SAtk / 160 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Will-O-Wisp
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Rest
Not too much to say here, im pretty new to Chesto Rest Rotom-W, this set was suggested to me by my friend Maka, and it works rather effectively. Chesto Berry allows Rotom-W to bluff a Choice early game, allowing him to fire a Will-O-Wisp at an unsuspecting enemy. Rest allows Rotom to heal up and rid any status when needed, as for Hydro Pump and Volt Switch, they are obvious STABS of choice.

Dragonite (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Multiscale
EVs: 64 HP / 252 Atk / 192 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
-Outrage
-Extremespeed
-Fire Punch
-Earthquake
Plain and simple, let this thing set up and you WILL regret it! Not only does Sub Roost spam stall the f*ck out of slower enemies thanks to Multiscale, but if you get the free switch and manage to get a sub up, you can start setting up DD's, roosting off any damage and setting a sub up again, eventually being capable of sweeping! Its unbelievable how easy it can be to wipe a stall-weakened team with a well played SubDDNite. A complete change of set here, instead of using Dragonite as a hit-and-miss style sweeper, I was suggested something more solid, CBNite. This set allows me to revenge weakened foe's efficiently, take out other bulky threats, mainly Reuniclus, and to simply rip through walls.

Skarmory (M) @ Shed Shell
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 232 Def / 24 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
-Roost
-Whirlwind
-Spikes
-Brave Bird
This is a standard Skarmory set, however it plays a huge role in the team. First of all Skarmory can set Spikes, being invaluble to Heatran as he is capable of forcing switches, whilst also being able to phaze with Whirlwind, making it tough to set up on, this also helps cut Baton Pass teams down to size. Roost provides Skarmory with reliable recovery, allowing him to wall much more efficiently, thanks to its amazing physical bulk, Skarmory also acts as my main check to Scizor and Dragonite, and this is invaluble to the team, some EVs are also invested in SPDef, this allows Skarmory to take a few extra hits from the odd Ice Beam or Surf. Lastly Brave Bird allows Skarmory to deal some damage of his own, allowing him to hit things such as Terrakion or Breloom, hard. Small changes made here, I was suggested to run Shed Shell since Skarmory is such an important piece of the team, its not worth the risk being KOed by a Magnezone, this means when they switch in, I can switch into Gastrodon to take the Thunder/bolt and then Toxic the following switch. The added speed EVs is mainly to outspeed other Skarmory's, and rather bizzarly, Timid Wobbufett, as uncommon as he may be, a couple extra EVs is worth the added insurance.
Reuniclus

Reuniclus (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 Def
Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Trick Room
- Psychic
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Focus Blast
Trick Room Reuniclus makes up for the slower nature of this team, he also provides the special offense for the team. Reuniclus is capable of taking a few hits, and more importantly, can lure in Scizor and then KO him with HPFire! This can prove to be extremely benificial to the team. As for Psychic, this is obvious STAB of choice while Focus Blast patches up the remaining coverage.

Gastrodon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Storm Drain
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Toxic
- Recover
- Ice Beam
- Earthquake
If Heatran didn't piece this team together, then this thing does! Being capable of stopping Rotom-W dead is invaluble, then pairing it up with toxic to poison whatever switches in makes it even better! Recover is typicalfor reliable recover, Ice beam allows Gastrodon to pick off Dragons while Earthquake takes opposing Heatrans, who would otherwise be able to play around this team with relative ease.
-Alakazam-
More testing is required before I can list more significant threats, if anyone has any ideas or experience from using the team, please let me know.

Well theres the team, I apologise for the lack of quality and effort in writing this RMT but im fighting to stay awake right now, any constructive criique is appreciated and I will post an exportable file below, a quick thanks to Makaveli3k for helping to test this team and suggesting useful sets, a huge thanks for EmeraldGoblin for providing all of the art used in this RMT, and to you for reading this!
Here is a replay of one of my recent games, It doesn't show the team at its best, it does however show how every member has a part in the team, and how they all work. This isn't exactly one of my better games nor one of my worse, it simply just gets the point of the team across rather well.
