XY OU Stally duo into attackers[peaked 1450]

F-16 Lati-model (Latias) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Def / 252 SpA
Bold Nature
- Trick
- Roost
- Thunder Wave
- Dragon Pulse
Latias is my primary lead and she has done fairly well as of now. please note that she is not made to be a suicide lead, I gave the trick + choice item combo after I realized that my team had severe trouble dealing with with pink puff balls of annoying however trick is rarely saved for later on unless the battle preview shows some great targets to to crippled (vaporion, umbreon pinks puffs, ect) grabbing a toxic orb from gliscor or the evolvite of of chancey on the switch is a dream come true and it lets me switch even more items around their team. in a case where I want to save my trick shenanigans I quickly ether t-wave or blast them in the face depending on whether or not they are frail enough to warrant a dragon pulse. Roost is here for extra staying power for more dragon pulses and t-waves. Latias's Trick also makes mega charizard x's life easier by a long shot.

:)freehugs4all(: (Ferrothorn) @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
- Knock Off
- Leech Seed
- Stealth Rock
- Thunder Wave

Looks pretty much like your average ferothorn, with exception of knock off over vine whip, and the Inclusion of stealth rocks, I strongly hold to the opinion that ferothorn is the best ou stall-mon you can get trumping even the glorious skam, bliss duo, not much needs to be said here, swap into physical attack deal iron barbs damage, strike with knock off and take away an item and sing the trolololo song as you spam leach seeds, stealth rocks, and t-waves and generally be a huge anus.

DIEDIEDIEDIE!!! (Kyurem-Black) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 Spe
Impish Nature
- Iron Head
- Shadow Claw
- Dragon Claw
- Fusion Bolt

Chances are you have seen Kyreum-b use this set before in some form or another, dragon claw for stab, fusion bolt for coverage, shadow claw for coverage, iron head for fairies and nothing else. Please Use for revenge killing, slugfesting, and endgame sweeps. end of story goodby.((though Iron head flinches are awesome when you get then.))
DA sPoooKZ (Gengar) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Substitute
- Destiny Bond
- Shadow Ball
- Confuse ray

Gengar is best ghost, he has so many great sets to work with, the goal with this one is to get at least a two for one with shadow ball, substall then confuse ray to get. Ore subs and then more shadow balls and finally ending it off with a d-bond when I run out , I tried this very set with lefties thinking that being able to regain h.p from the subs could help however it just wasn't in the cards for this team, however the switch to life orb made a visible chance to the damage output gengar had, some would probably like to mention that grininja does the fast frail attacker thing better and I can see why, HOWEVER grininja dose not get the disgustingly powerful array of suport moves gengar has(d-bond, hypnosis, c-ray) and a slur of immunities. I actively regard him higher then grininja and gengar just seems better to me.

Pinkypiebestpony (Sylveon) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Yawn
- Heal Bell
- Wish
- Hyper Voice

I needed a special wall to complement my ferothorn and protect my team from the other side of the attack spectrum. I started with blissey however her stally attributes did little to help my team outside of wish passing and heal bell and was deadweight on her own. so I went for a wall that was able to hit back after absorbing an attack. So I went with sylveon as my special wall, yawn is to force switches or shut down sweepers before they solo my team, it also syncs well with stealth rocks. wish is for and wish passing and stalling, heal bell is self explanatory and hyper voice is for good old attack power because frankly not many things in o.u like to get hit by hyper voice.

Thermo-nuke (Charizard-Mega-X) (F) @ Charizardite X
Ability: Tough Claws
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Dragon Dance
- Roost
- Earthquake

Earthquake? Why earthquake? Surely you should abuse tough claws for an extra contact move like dragon claw? The reason I run earthquake over dragon claw is solely because of heatran, every team that has a heatran will swap out to him when I dragon dance hoping to get a flash fire going and although air balloon is a real danger if it dose appear most heatran will probably be carrying something else like lefties, or...whatever I don't know what heatran likes to use because I don't use him. Earthquake is a guarantied 1 hit k.o and it's a huge momentum shift every time this hapens(which is most of the time) flare blitz kills everything else rather easy at plus 2 and most things that resists flare blitz are nutrual to earthquake so there. That is why a use earthquake. Roost is there for extra survivability blah, blah, blah praise to dragon dance it's so awsome blah, blah, blah,

Hey Skyblue, Nice looking team you have although I'm not sure running life orb Gengar with Three non attacking moves is very beneficial.

Try this set, it's more stally.

Gengar @ Black Sludge
Timid Nature
252 SpA, 252 Spe, 4 Def

- Substitute
- Will-o-wisp
- Shadow Ball
- Confuse Ray

Will-o-wisp can really dent some physical attackers and you can fire off a shadow ball when behind a sub.

A few changes I would make:

DIEDIEDIEDIE!!! (Kyurem-Black) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 4 SpA / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Earth Power
- Ice Beam
- Outrage
- Fusion Bolt

Kyu-B is much better off mixed. Outrage is much better than Dragon Claw because your locked into a move anyway. Earth Power and Ice Beam are much more useable in the meta compared to Shadow Claw and Iron Head (although Iron Head is a good niche move for taking on Clefable). It can take on more threats with the new moveset. Defense EVs are useless on Kyu-B btw. Always invest in attack or special attack.

DA sPoooKZ (Gengar) @ Life Orb/Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Sludge Bomb/Substitute
- Destiny Bond
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast

Take off Confuse Ray. It's useless. If you are going to to use LO, you need more attacking moves. Sludge Bomb and Focus Blast are great options in this case. I wouldn't recommend Sub and LO on the same set, that's a lot of health to be voluntarily giving up and you can whittle yourself down quickly. If you use LO, use another attacking move. If you use Sub, use Black Sludge as an item instead.

F-16 Lati-model (Latias) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Spe / 252 SpA
Timid Nature
- Trick
- Ice Beam/Thunderbolt
- Psyshock
- Draco Meteor

F-16 Lati-model (Latias) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpD / 252 HP
Calm
Nature
- Healing Wish
- Roost
- Defog
- Draco Meteor

Your Latias at this point is a weird hybrid of support and offensive Latias. You should try to go full tilt in one direction. Trick Scarf with two support moves is not a great idea, because you will force yourself to use Trick at an earlier point, especially against a Steel of Fairy type. Or, you could go more towards support Latias and use Lefties. I would change Trick for Healing Wish on the support set, because Healing Wish is great team support. I would also change T-Wave for Defog because Charizard and Kyu-B both have huge SR weaknesses and you have no other hazard removal. Either Latias is fine for your team, but you should commit to one direction more strongly.

Thermo-nuke (Charizard-Mega-X) (F) @ Charizardite X
Ability: Tough Claws
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 144 HP / 252 Atk / 112 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Dragon Dance
- Roost/Earthquake
- Dragon Claw

The listed set gives you more bulk while giving you the speed needed to outspeed relevant threats. If you invest entirely in bulk you find yourself lacking in the speed department more often then not, even at +1. Giving up Dragon Claw for Earthquake allows you to hit Heatran, yes, but you can't get through Air Balloon Tran and you are walled by Mega Zard-Y, Gyarados, Dragonite, Mega Aerodactyl, Rotom-W and some Talonflames. That's a BIG trade-off. If you are going to run Earthquake, I would suggest dropping Roost instead. I know you talked about Dragon Claw and EQ in your summary, but that is a big trade off to sometimes hit one mon.

Hello there Skybluejay, interesting team you have there, and it would look very threatening in team preview, but unfortunately you are running a lot of subpar sets.

The first thing I would do is change your Latias set to a more standard support Latias and consider leading with another Pokemon that counter-leads your opponent's most likely lead in order to gain momentum right off the bat.

latias.gif

Latias @ Life Orb | Levitate
Timid Nature | 72 HP / 184 SpA / 252 Spe
Draco Meteor | Psyshock | Roost | Defog

This Latias set is a consistent Landorus-Incarnate, Charizard Y and Keldeo switch-in, beating all 3 1v1. Draco Meteor is for powerful STAB, OHKOing Landorus 100% of the time after Stealth Rock damage. Psyshock is a nice alternative if the SpA drop isn't wanted, and is good for picking off low health targets and Pokemon such as Keldeo or Breloom. I would've included Healing Wish over Roost, but you have a cleric in Sylveon to do that job. Defog is good support for keeping rocks off the field, particularly for Kyurem-Black and Mega Charizard X. The EVs give Latias a Life Orb number.

The Ferrothorn set looks nice, though you you forgot to list the EVs in the original post. Just in case you didn't already have this spread, I'll list it here for you as it seems to be the best Ferrothorn spread in this meta.

ferrothorn.gif

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers | Iron Barbs
Impish Nature | 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SpD
Knock Off | Stealth Rock | Leech Seed | Thunder Wave

You could test either Gyro Ball or Power Whip over Knock Off if you feel that it's more suitable. If you decide to use Gyro Ball, get rid of Thunder Wave for Protect (as Gyro Ball and Protect are counter-productive), and run a Relaxed Nature with 0 Speed IVs in order to make Gyro Ball as powerful as possible. I'd actually recommend running Power Whip over Knock Off here so as to not be Substitute Mega Gyarados setup fodder, but you have Scarf Kyurem-Black to revenge kill that so it's not completely necessary.

As previously mentioned, your Kyurem-Black set is far from ideal, I'll just help you clean it up here:

kyurem-black.gif

Kyurem-Black @ Choice Scarf | Teravolt
Naive Nature | 252 Atk / 56 SpA / 200 Spe
Outrage | Fusion Bolt | Iron Head | Ice Beam

This is the preferred Scarf Kyurem-Black set. Max Atk with a speed boosting nature, and enough speed to outpace Jolly Scarf Excadrill, as well as +1 Adamant Charizard X. Outrage and Fusion Bolt are staples, Iron Head is so you can deal decent damage to Clefable and Sylveon, while having a reliable way to revenge kill CM Gardevoir.

For Gengar, I think you'd benefit more from switching to the standard Utility Attacker set, which is really annoying for stall teams in particular to KO, as you have pretty much the perfect switch in to defensive Heatran on your team (Charizard X), as long as it can dodge Toxic. Gengar gives you a little bit of stallbreaking power that you seemed to be missing.

gengar.gif

Gengar @ Black Sudge | Levitate
Timid Nature | 28 HP / 148 SpA / 80 SpD / 252 Spe
Substitute | Shadow Ball | Will-O-Wisp | Taunt

As mentioned before, SubWispTaunt Gengar is really tough for stall teams to take down, as well as just generally being an annoyance to most teams. The spread allows Gengar to set up a Sub on Clefable's Moonblasts and Venusaur's min SpA Giga Drains. Max speed is necessary to tie with other base 110s (such as Latias and Latios), as well as outspeed powerful threats such as Keldeo in a pinch.

Next thing is your Sylveon. I'd actually recommend a set that lil manaphy showed me, which is Calm Nature with max Defense EVs + Protect, which allows Sylveon to beat both Latios and go toe-to-toe with non-CM Landorus.

sylveon.gif

Sylveon @ Leftovers | Pixilate
Calm Nature | 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
Hyper Voice | Wish | Protect | Heal Bell

Wish and Heal Bell allow Sylveon to be an effective cleric, consistently healing the team of unwanted status and healing up integral members with a lack of reliable recovery, such as Ferrothorn.

Finally, we have your Charizard, there are two ways you can go about this. The first is to have a Roost + 3 Attacks Charizard to consistently heal up and be a threat to defensive teams. The other way you could go (which I recommend), is using an offensive DD Charizard. This gives you a nice win condition against offense, which you seem to struggle against (though Scarf Kyurem-Black alleviates this somewhat).

charizard-megax.gif

Charizard @ Charizardite X | Tough Claws
Adamant Nature | 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Dragon Dance | Dragon Claw | Flare Blitz | Earthquake

This set gives you a solid win condition against offense, while still retaining Earthquake and generally being very threatening.

Anyway, hope I helped. Good luck!
