THE TEAM AT A GLANCE

Earlier on I had posted an RMT very similar to this one. The other was pretty good, but I was still getting beaten more than I would have liked and it basically just needed a little help. Well, people started rating, and I found that the flaws couldn't be corrected without basically scratching the team altogether. So rather than using the suggestions, I set out to correct it on my own. Given that this team has gone 9-1, I think I've done a pretty good job and that this new/improved version is ready to be rated.

Roserade- The Sleeper and Setup Lead
roserade.png

Roserade @ Focus Sash
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spd

-Sleep Powder
-Toxic Spikes
-Grass Knot
-Hidden Power Fire

This Roserade has worked remarkably well. If the opposing lead is something like Swampert or Scizor, attack and OHKO. Otherwise, Sleep Powder the first turn to incapacitate something, doing the team a service and also giving me a free turn to set up Toxic Spikes. Getting two layers up can be difficult, but it can usually be accomplished. This set HATES priority moves, but I can switch and come in later if I can predict one.

Scizor- The Banded Sweeper and Scout

scizor.png

Scizor @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 248 HP/252 Atk/8 Spd

-U-turn
-Bullet Punch
-Brick Break
-Pursuit

Oh how I love this Scizor. This thing is an absolutely great team player. U-turn gets STAB, letting it hit very hard, while also scouting. Bullet Punch does a good job of revenge killing, and hits harder than most opponents expect, again thanks to STAB and also Technician. Brick Break decimates Blissey, and Pursuit can chase down any running opponents and smack around Psychics and Ghosts (namely and mostly Gengar) especially. Brick Break hasn't seen much use on this set, so any other options are welcome.

Latias- The Boosting Special Sweeper
latias.png

Latias @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spd

-Calm Mind
-Dragon Pulse
-Surf
-Recover

A generic sweeping Latias. She works very well with Scizor, ridding him of Fire types like Infernape with Surf, while Scizor can Bullet Punch (or possibly Brick Break) Tyranitar. Calm Mind is pretty easy to get off, but attacking right out of the gate still works sometimes. Recover has amazing synergy with Life Orb, letting this Latias stay around for a pretty long time.

Dragonite- The Mixed Sweeper
dragonite.png

Dragonite @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
Nature: Lonely
EVs: 84 Atk/220 SAtk/204 Spd

-Agility
-Draco Meteor
-Outrage
-Thunderbolt

This Dragonite replaced my mixed sweeping Metagross, and has proven to be a worthy addition to my team. As well as being my mixed sweeper, it provides the Gyarados counter I was in desperate need of. If Dragonite can get in before an opposing Gyarados and use Agility, Gyarados will never get the chance to sweep, courtesy of Thunderbolt. Draco Meteor and Outrage make for horribly powerful STABs. Usually, people predict a Choice item if I come in and use a special attack immediately, so they put in a special wall and I can blast away with Outrage. Let's see Salamence do this.

Suicune- The Double Wall
suicune.png

Suicune @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 Spd

-Surf
-Calm Mind
-Rest
-Sleep Talk

Commonly referred to as Crocune, this Suicune is amazing. After a few Calm Minds, it becomes specially invincible, and thanks to the EVs and nature, physical hits aren't much of a problem either. The biggest and most pleasing surprise I've had is that this Suicune seems to be able to survive any Explosion. Bronzong, Metagross, Azelf, and Steelix, among others, have all Exploded on this Suicune, doing a maximum 90% damage. So, if I predict an Explosion and Suicune is at full health, I just bring it in and take the pain, recovering fully afterwards with Rest. This can also beat Blissey one on one. While the former is made a lot easier with Toxic Spikes (thanks Roserade!), it can still 2HKO or 3HKO with a +6 Surf.

Bronzong- The Utility and Setup Wall

bronzong.png

Bronzong @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Sassy
EVs: 252 HP/86 Atk/80 Def/92 SDef

-Gyro Ball
-Stealth Rock
-Explosion
-Earthquake

This Bronzong has one sole purpose for me: to get Stealth Rock up. Once that gets done, I usually just Explode on whatever's there. If the opponent is very fast, such as a DD Salamence, then I can Gyro Ball, and if Metagross won't move, Earthquake. Usually though, I Explode and bring out Crocune, or maybe Scizor to scout. This is very useful for that DD Gyarados threat as well; Explosion handles it, because Bronzong will never be OHKOed by +1 Waterfall.

And that's my team!! A threat list will follow soon. Credit goes to Arkeis.com for the images. Thanks for reading and rating!!

Your team is ok, i would make only 2 changes.
1-SuperPower over Brick Break
2-MixMence over MixNite
Roserade @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidade
Nature: Mild
EVs: 84 Atk /216 SpA /208 Spe

-Outrage
-Draco Meteor
-Earthquake
-Fire Blast

Post above me: Roserade doesn't get Outrage, Draco Meteor, Eartqhuake or Fire Blast.

I don't think Agility Dragonite fits your team, or any team, well at all. It is outclassed by MixDDMence. So your not outclassed, use this Dragonite set:

Dragonite @ Life Orb
~Draco Meteor
~Outrage
~Superpower
~Fire Blast / Fire Punch
Ability: Inner Focus
nature: Rash
112 Atk / 200 SpA / 196 Spe

All-out Wallbreaker, which your team dearly needs as many walls in OU are immune to Toxic Spikes (Skarmory, Metagross, Jirachi, etc.). Only a handful of enemies can stand up to this guy's brutal assault, including Celebi. However, Celebi is open to Toxic Spikes, so your team has no problem with that as long as you steer clear of Leech Seed. Superpower nails Blissey with an OHKO, being the signature move that makes MixNite superior to MixMence. 2 Dragon moves are staple on mixed Dragons.

I recommend this Latias set, as I believe it would benefit your team more:

Latias@Leftovers
~Calm Mind
~Substitute
~Recover
~Dragon Pulse
Ability: Levitate
nature: Timid
EVs: 204 HP / 252 Speed / 54 SpA

Maximum Speed EVs to throw up Substitutes and Recover faster than max-speed Infernape while reaching a Speed Tie with other 110s (Latias and Gengar). This is a bulky Latias that easily reaches +3 Calm Minds and if your opponent uses Blissey as their Latias counter, can even get +6 and top Blissey. HP EVs gives a Lefties number.Although having only Dragon Pulse and the lack of immediate power hurts, this Latias is a far better counter with Leftovers recovery and no Life Orb recoil.

Other than that, fine team. Only nitpick is put your 8 Speed EVs on Scizor to SpD, as the slower Scizor wins when two Scizor face off.

To ThePowerWithin:

I'll consider that Dragonite set, but I'm afraid that does leave me a tad open to DD Gyarados. Do you have one that uses Thunderbolt?

The Latias set I won't be using, simply because I've found that Surf has great use, and I don't need to outspeed Infernape because he can't really hurt me anyway. The worst attack is HP Ice, which Latias easily survives and promptly Surfs him away. Blissey is also of no real concern thanks to Toxic Spikes (which I realize isn't guaranteed), Scizor and Dragonite's physical moves.

You could use Tbolt in place of Fire Blast, i.e.:

Dragonite @ Life Orb
~Draco Meteor
~Outrage
~Superpower
~Thunderbolt
Ability: Inner Focus
nature: Rash
112 Atk / 200 SpA / 196 Spe

Dragon and Electric gets pretty good neutral coverage as the only thing I can think of that it doesn't hit for neutral is Magnezone and Steel / Ground types, which are all taken care of, to an extent, with Superpower. But yeah, Superpower is the main reason to use DNite over Mence. I guess he is also more desirable if you fear Flinch hax or Porygon2, lol, since Intimidate allows Pory2 to counter Outraging Mence and Inner Focus can be used to stop Rachi and Togekiss ;p

Replace brick break with superpower as it really does a lot of damage to skarm on the switch in, and it will eventually weaken to stealth rock and superpower. Also I would just forgot toxic spikes and make bronzong the lead, and put in a rotom appliance to take gyarados and sd scizor. Plus I think mixmence does that dragonite set a lot better.

I like the given mixed sweeper set, but Dragonite does lack speed, which I was attempting to use Agility to make up for. Which brings us back to my set. Brawley, I use Toxic Spikes because it helps my Crocune stall and does good damage to anything trying to stay in too long in general, forcing switches and racking up SR damage as well. Toxic Spikes stays. And I will probably change to Superpower on Scizor. Thanks and let's keep the suggestions coming!

Oh yes thats right, sorry I was reading another team with swampert on it and got mixed up, anyways maybe a rotom over bronzong would be good.

Well, Jirachi can run a mixed set with Tbolt and is also alot faster than Dragonite. The Jirachi analysis has a suggested mix set and you can customize to fit your needs, since Jirachi has a great movepool. Tbolt / Grass Knot / Fire Punch / Iron Head can be very useful against alot of today's stall teams which consist of Gyara, Swampert, Forrey, Blissey provided you give it enough EVs to hurt Bliss with Iron Head. You could also use Shadow Ball over Fire Punch to hit Rotom. Give him Expert Belt and spam some Iron Heads early on to feign Choice Scarf and later you may catch a Swampert off guard amirite?

That sounds really appealing. I might try it. Now I know I'm nitpicking, but using Jirachi would give me a huge fire weakness. However, I will try it out to see how it goes. Thanks! Any other suggestions?

Ok so I've been looking around and I'd like to know if you guys think this would work: the TyraniBoah set.

Tyranitar @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
Nature: Quiet
EVs: 252 HP/52 Atk/176 SAtk/28 Spd

-Substitute
-Focus Punch
-Dark Pulse
-Thunderbolt

^^^ That really helps doesnt it? "ice weak".

Anyway i prefer HP Ground over HP Fire on lead Roserade, simply because I THINK you can 2HKO Heatran leads. HP Fire doesn't really do much for me, except catch scizor switch-ins which could also be taken care of with Sleep Powder, seeing as specially bulky scizors wont be an OHKO anyway

Yeah it does help with the Ice weakness. And Heatran leads can 2HKO me too, so I don't use it. Some Scizor can be OHKOed though, so I'm keeping HP Fire.

I had some problems With Gyarados, so I tried a ScarfNape. With this set it ALWAYS OHKOes Gyarados and outspeeds after 1DD.

Infernape
Adamant @choice scarf
252 Atk, 252 Spe, 4 hp
-Flare Blitz
-Thunderpunch
-EQ
-Close Combat

I have also been experimenting with a special version of it.

Infernape
Modest@choice scarf
252 SpA, 252 Spe, 4 hp
-focus blast
-HP electric
-Fire Blast
-Grass knot

Either one of these is a great Gyarados counter.
