Standard OU RMT plz

I've had this team for a while and recently brought it back out. It works ok, but i just want to know if there is room for improvement

-----------------

Gliscor @ Leftovers
Sand Veil
Jolly Nature
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Speed, 4 Defense
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Roost
- U-Turn

Gliscor has been a good lead for me so far. Self explanatory lead. Stealth rock then U-Turn or Earthquake depending on the situation. Roost is for survivability and to stall an opponent out if they got Life Orb or if they are taking weather, recoil, or status damage. Glsicor is also a good U-Turn partner with Scizor.

-----------------

Heatran @ Choice Scarf
Flash Fire
Naive Nature
EVs: 252 Special Attack, 252 Speed, 4 Special Defense
- Earth Power
- Fire Blast
- Hidden Power Grass
- Explosion

Self explanatory revenge killer. Everyone should already know the run down for Scarfed Heatran. Obviously one of my favorite Pokemon to use in battle because so many of my opponents get like 2-4 of their pokes killed or possibly everything sweeped.

-----------------

Tyranitar @ Life Orb
Sand Stream
Adamant Nature
EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP
- Dragon Dance
- Stone Edge
- Crunch
- Earthquake

Classic DD Tyranitar. I may consider changing to Choice Band or Choice Scarf, but I haven't really hit many situations where the DD won't work. Please give your opinion about this one. I can safely switch in on enemy Tyranitar which are Scarfed every time, and set up a DD to sweep. When they switch out to another Poke, i usually outspeed and OHKO it. When their Tyranitar comes back in, I can switch to my Gyarados, Gengar, Gliscor, or Scizor and retaliate.

-----------------

Gengar @ Life Orb
Levitate
Naive Nature
EVs: 252 Special Attack, 252 Speed, 4 Attack
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Explosion

Classic Life Orb Gengar. Fast, dangerous, and effective. Plus another immunity to Ground attacks. I chose a Naive Nature because it adds more power to Explosion while timid hinders the stat. It also does instant OHKO to Blissey in case they want to wall me. Gengar's Special Defense isn't that great plus its gonna get 2 OHKOed by most special attacks anyway even with Timid Nature

-----------------

Scizor @ Choice Band
Adamant Nature
Technician
EVs: 248 HP, 252 Attack, 8 Speed
- Bullet Punch
- U-Turn
- Superpower
- Pursuit

Once again, self explanatory. You know the run down for this standard Scizor. As stated above, great U-Turn partner with Gliscor. Also, if at full health, my Scizor survives against almost every Starmie that attempts to Hydro Pump or Surf, and i can U-Turn to OHKO.

-----------------

Gyarados @ Life Orb
Adamant Nature
Intimidate
EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang

Yet again, self-explanatory. Just the good old Dragon Dancer set. Sweeps great after one Dragon Dance, covers Heatran's and Tyranitar's Ground Weaknesses, resists foe Lucarios and Infernapes.

You might be thinking, healing support? Yes, I may put a healer in, but I don;t know what to replace so thats why I'm posting this team to be rated.

RMT PLZ!

Gliscor looks extremely out of place on this team. Try lead Azelf to start you off with a faster taunt and a bang to get momentum faster. This is a pretty offensive team so Gliscor doesn't fit.
Somehow I dislike the double DDers, a Choice Scarfer, and a CBer. But, I'll let the real raters come in here and show you what more to fix.

Hello, I really like offensive teams such as this, and I'll try my best to improve the team.

First off, It seems you have major issues with, Offensive and Bulky Dragon Dance Gyarados, Offensive Suicune, slight weakness to Dragon Dance Dragonite, Mixed Flygon, and Stall. Offensive and Bulky Gyarados are guaranteed a set up against Gliscor, Scizor, and Heatran locked into Fire Blast or Earth Power. From there, Gyarados can OHKO every member with a +1 Waterfall or Stone Edge. Your best bet is to explode Heatran (since Adamant variants are slower than Scarf Heatran) but you still can't switch in safely on Stone Edge or Waterfall Heatran is your revenge killer to a bunch of threats, so you Explosion isn't the safest solution. Suicune can also grab a Calm Mind coming in on Gliscor, Heatran's Fire Blast, Gyarados' Waterfall/Ice Fang and Scizor's Pursuit/Bullet Punch. +1 Hydro Pump and HP Electric is all Suicune needs to rip apart this team, and again, your best method currently is Explosion with Heatran, which really isn't the safest method (Heatran revenge kills tons of threats for this team, Exploding it, leaves the team prone to said threats). Offensive DD Dragonite, and Bulky ones as well, can set up against Gliscor, any of Heatran's moves bar Explosion, and Scizor's Superpower, +1/+1 Offensive Dragonite will destroy the team with boosted Dragon Claws/Outrages, Earthquakes, and Fire Punch, while the bulky variant will use Dragon Claws and Earthquake in conjunction with Roost to keep healthy. Offensive Dragonite is a little less of a problem if it carries Outrage, since you can lure it into Outrage, and do about 55% with Bullet Punch, but you'll need to wore it down with LO recoil, Gyarados's Intimidate and SR to be able to revenge with Bullet Punch. Nevertheless, it is still a threat to the team. Mixed Flygon might also pose a serious threat to the team; Flygon outspeeds 5/6 of the team, and can KO with Draco Meteor/Fire Blast/Earthquake only needing SR damage to assist it. Due to it having Roost, you can't always wore it down with LO and revenge with Scizor by coming in on Draco Meteor. Stall might also give this team trouble, unless you explode Heatran on Blissey, Gengar can have an easier time against Stall (although Hippowdon will rack up Sand Storm/LO damage on it, whilst using Slack Off to keep healthy).

First off, I think you should move Heatran to the lead spot with 172 HP/252 Satk/82 Spe with Overheat/HP Grass/Stealth Rock/Explosion with a Mild Nature and a Life Orb. This helps you put immediate pressure on teams utilizing Lead Machamp, and Defensive teams leading with Forretress or Skarmory. Offensive pressure is very important for teams like this, and Heatran provides that really well, right from the get go. TBH, LO Heatran fares much better against the top leads than Gliscor, who is forced out far too easily due to only one attacking move. 172 HP helps switch in on random Rest Talk Rotom-A Thunderbolts on Stall teams, and a bunch of other neutral uninvested Special Attacks. Since you now have a spot open with Heatran replacing Gliscor as the lead, I now suggest a Choice Scarf Flygon. With 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spe and Outrage or Dragon Claw/Earthquake/U-turn/Thunder Punch, you have an excellent way to revenge kill all Dragon Dance Gyarados variants, Dragon Dance Dragonite, and Mixed Flygon, which were mentioned as the few notable threats to this team. Synergistically, Flygon and Scizor pair remarkably well as a U-turn duo, covering each other's weaknesses and being able to scout out dangerous threats to remove for Tyranitar's or Gyarados' sweep. Teams I've seen utilizing U-turn Flygon and Scizor apply and maintain pressure on there opponent, giving very little breathing room to the opponent. To solve the Stall and Offensive Suicune issue, I advise you to replace Gengar with a Leech Seed Shaymin. IMO, Gengar is the weakest link of the team, I don't see it contribute much to the team, being revenge killed fairly easily by any Choice Scarfer or priority, and dying too fast by Sand Storm and Life Orb damage. Shaymin provides an excellent check to Suicune and other Water- types, as well as being an annoyance to Stall in general. I recommend a 252 Satk/4 Sdef/252 Spe with a Timid Nature and Leftovers with Leech Seed/HP Fire/Seed Flare/Protect. You basically switch in on Suicune and 2HKO it with Seed Flare before it 2HKOes you with Ice Beam, and you can always recover health back via Leech Seed+Protect You asked for a "healer supporter" and I give you Shaymin, who provides this with Leech Seed. Things like Infernape and Heatran love to switch in on Shaymin, catching them off guard with Leech Seed and switching to Gyarados/Flygon on the Fire- type attack will mean they will regain their lost health back, especially Gyarados who loses a chunk from Stealth Rock. You can use a bulkier spread too if you like, but I feel speed is very important for this team, and so I gave you a max/max spread, to check the Offensive Waters and provide a fast Leech Seed. I also think Gyarados will do better with a bulkier set in 156 HP/72 Atk/96 Def/184 Spe with Leftovers and an Adamant nature with Dragon Dance/Taunt/Waterfall/Stone Edge. Between Shaymin+Gyarados you will cover Stall really well, Shaymin taking on Rest Talk Rotom-A for Gyarados, and then Gyarados using Taunt+Dragon Dance to sweep the team. LO+Sandstorm+SR was really cutting down on Gyarados' effectiveness and ability to check Infernape, Lucario, and Heatran, which is solved with this bulkier spread. Just to summarize, Gyarados will now provide a weapon against stall, check to Infernape, Lucario, Heatran, and a sweeper, all in one.

tl;dr
LO Tran>Lead Gliscor
Scarf Flygon>Scarf Heatran
Leech Seed Shaymin>Gengar
Bulky Gyarados>Offensive LO

Hi Deranged,

Looks like a solid Offensive team you have going. First of all, I must agree with Blissey of doom in the fact that Gliscor probably isnt your best option as a lead. Gliscor usually provides a different service as a lead and that is to get SR and be an annoying physical wall later in the game. This team doesn't need that at all, so I suggest that you change to a more offensive lead that gets the ball rolling sooner for your team. Here is the Azelf set I recommend:

Azelf @ Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP
Nature: Jolly
-Explosion
-Stealth Rock
-Taunt
-Zen Headbutt

Also, I believe you should change your Tyranitar to have a Lum Berry instead of a Life Orb. Tyranitar's greatest asset is it's bulk it uses to set-up, and Life Orb easily stops it's effectiveness down to a couple turns of use. In the same vein, Gyarados should definitely be changed to a bulkier Dragon Dancer with Leftovers. It will be able to stick around longer in the match, and most teams that can't deal with LO Gyarados also can't deal with Leftovers Gyarados, so there isn't a huge sacrifice being made. Here is the set:

Gyarados @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 156 HP / 72 Atk / 96 Def / 184 Spe
Nature: Jolly
-Waterfall
-Dragon Dance
-Stone Edge
-Taunt or Earthquake : your choice.

Good luck with the team!

Very nice team! It's solidly offensive, and yet still has some form of defense! Your Gliscor is fine, but I'd replace roost for Stone Edge, because Gliscor is really fast and is bulky so it really doesn't need Roost. I'd replace Tyranitar for Physcial Infernape, because Tyranitar is slow and gets destroyed by many things, trust me, I've tried him. Heatran is fine, but I'd be careful of Ground types, especially Gliscor, because he'll always be faster and will always OHKO, or you could replace him for ScarfVire. Scizor's fine. And Gyarados is fine, while replace Explosion and replace with HP fire, because without it, you'd be walled by Scizor.

hey guys i just have to say thanks for all the reviews. There were a few trial and errors and for now, I have decided to stick what legendkiller suggested. Azelf lead doesnt cut it for me unfortunately. So far, Heatran lead has worked a lot better. If you have to argue abuot, do it with each other. who knows? something great may come out of it. and koopaman, im afraid your suggestion wont be taken into consideration at all. sorry. :(
