This is my first team i've made for the Metagame, so please forgive any errors in its composition that are obvious to you, they aren't to me.
Well there ya go, I hold no illusions that this will be up to the standards of most teams here, but hopefully its passable for a first attempt at making one.
Ninjask @ Leftovers
Speed Boost
252 HP / 176 Atk / 80 Spe
Jolly
Substitute
Swords Dance
X-Scissor
Baton pass
My lead, originally designed to be passing as many Sword Dances and Speed Boosts to Tyranitar as possible, in practise generally gets 1 or two Swords Dances, which is enough.
Threats: Taunt and Multi-Hit Moves
Gengar @ Choice Specs
Levitate
4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
- Focus Blast
- Energy Ball
Special Sweeper, also used to deal with various leads that counter Ninjask, (Such as Aerodactyl) as well as providing strong quick attacks later. In theory energy ball could prove a nasty surprise for a Roaring Swampert, but I haven't come across one to test this yet.
Umbreon @ Leftovers
Synchronise
252 HP / 92 SpD / 164 Spe
Careful
- Wish
- Mean Look
- Toxic
- Pursuit
Nothing inventive here, Standard Trap/toxic/Wish till it dies set. Pursuit can be used if I cause a Psychic to flee, this set is Also used to set up for Breloom by preventing the enemy from fleeing once asleep (see Below)
Problems: if it is given a status condition itself then synchronise messes up Toxic/Breloom Switch In
Tyranitar @ Expert Belt
Sand Stream
160 HP / 252 Atk / 96 Spe
Adamant
- Crunch
- Earthquake
- ThunderPunch
- Fire Punch
This Tyranitar is based around type advantage for the main part, it ties in with Ninjask, even if Ninjask doesn't get any sword dances in a Adamant / 252 ATK Tyranitar with souped up speed can do some decent damage.
Breloom@ Toxic Orb
Poison heal
48 HP / 252 Atk / 208 Spe
Adamant
- Spore
- Focus punch
- Subtitute
- Stone Edge
Ideally Umbreon traps something, then Wishswitches into Breloom, who puts it to sleep, and focus punches it. If Umbreon is KOed breloom can force a switch with Spore and hit the Pokémon switching in. Toxic Orb + Poison heal provides a nice health regen.
Togekiss @ Lum Berry
Serene Grace
252 HP / 152 SpA / 104 Spe
Modest
- Roost
- Nasty Plot
- Air Slash
- Aura Sphere
Special Sweeper/Tank, Roost provides a nice healing move. After a few Nasty plots Togekiss is brutal, and Air Slash/Aura Sphere provide a decent type coverage, as well as god secondary effects (Aura Sphere's perfect accuracy, and with serene grace Air Slash has a high flinch chance.)
