Standard RMT Is Standard

Ok now, this is one of my "worser" teams I've made struggling to get into top 50 of the ladder. When this team was made it did great, it was at 1450 in no time however when I started to battle more and more is when I realized this team won't make it top 50, anyway here is the team.

80 HP / 252 ATK / 176 SPD @ Choice Scarf
Jolly

- ThunderPunch
- Trick
- Iron Head
- U-Turn

When I was looking for a good lead I was hit by either this, Metagross or Bronzong, I tested with all three and I suited this set more, mainly because of it's Scarf and being able to stop DD's in there tracks with a Trick and forcing them on a stat up moves or one attack, ThunderPunch helps me with Gyarados who can run riot over this team. U-Turn lets me scout and allows me to lure out Tran hoping to get a Fire Punch boost.

252 HP / 220 DEF / 36 SPD @ Leftovers
Bold

- Thunderbolt
- Heat Wave
- Hidden Power (Grass)
- Roost

I needed a counter for the ever so popular Scizor and a way to hurt Pert, Heatran struck my mind but seeing how it phails to OHKO and it dies to EQ I needed something that can 2HKO and survive a attack and keep Scizor at check and I ended up with this thing, Thunderbolt is for STAB and Roost keeps me healthy.

252 HP / 252 ATK / 4 SPD @ Choice Band
Adamant

- U-Turn
- Bullet Pnch
- Superpower
- Pursuit

I have to use this simply because it's a beast, I don't like Pursuit but at times do I love it, Superpower hits Heatran or Magnezone when they try to switch in expecting a SD or Bullet Punch, U-Turn because it's a awesome move and I believe the best move in the game, being able to hit something hard and switch to your counters counter, awesome.

240 HP / 216 DEF / 52 SP.ATK @ Leftovers
Relaxed

- Earthquake
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Stealth Rock

Standard MixPert, it also beats Flygon which are now everywhere and it also beat T-Tar who can be trouble if I overpredict with Scizor, I have Stealth Rock because Rachi needs to beat Gyarados and this was the best thing that could do the job.

Spr_4p_242.png

84 HP / 252 DEF / 40 SP.ATK / 134 SP.DEF @ Leftovers
Calm

- Wish
- Protect
- Flamethower
- Toxic

Before anyone says anything yes this is TPD's Bliss spread. Anyway with everyone using Latias I found T-Tar not to good as Specs Versions can beat it so I looked for the fat one herself, Toxic because that's the only way Bliss can really beat Latias (without Refresh or Safeguard ._.) and Wish since I liked healing weakened members like Pert and Zapdos if I never had time for Roost, I'm aware that Tran walls this set but I can PP stall and why do you think I have Pert?

252 SP.ATK / 252 SPEED / 4 HP @ Life Orb
Timid

- Calm Mind
- Recover
- Dragon Pulse
- Surf

This is originally a Specs Trick variant but then I found myself Ape weak (Some people still use it...I know) and I didn't like the more Bulkier versions so I went with this one, Dragon Pulse and Surf is resisted by few (Empoleon :@) and with Calm Mind and instant recovery it enough to make me use this, I have Life simply because I can heal off the recoil damage.

........................................................................................................

I know this team looks good (Hector you lie if people say no) but it doesn't have that feeling (Laughing at me having feeling at Pokes) when I battle with it like my other teams, I haven't had any big wins and most of them have been by a short margin.

So rate away. (I only want good criticism, no 2/10, kthnxbai)

Changes in red

I really like this team and I am not sure why it isn't doing good.

I do have A few suggestions though.

Firstly, consder replacing fire punch on jirachi for U-Turn. Although firepunch is helpful for scizzor your team has no problems with him. U-Ture really helps with magnezone and is an overall good scouting move for Jirachi. (This is not nessisary, if u like fire punch stick with it).

The only other thing I can recomend is giving Zapdos a slight offensive boost. I find it counters a little better and can do a little sweeping with an EV investment of just 72 in SAtk. Take it away from wherever you see fit.

I have nothing to say about any of the other pokes as they are great.

Good Luck

I think individually, the Pokemon are good. The only way I can explain why this team isn't good is because it's too defense. It's basically like a stall team except without the residual damage from Spikes, Toxic Spikes, and Poison that's run on typical stall teams. Teams like this are okay, but if you mispredict and get set up on, sweepers can run through you.

I could try U-Turn since I hardly use Fire Punch and since I have Scizor checked by Zapdos it should work. It can also lure in Tran hoping to gain a boost.

I could try that but taking the ev's out of Def?

Thankies.

Good Luck

It could be I'm focusing of the defensive side without having any real residual damage par SR.

That's what generally happens, especially with SD Luke with SE seeing how it can only be revenge killed.

Right off the bat, DDGyara rampages through this team as easily as Heatran using Flamethrower on a Dry Skin Paras. We have two choices here: change Swampert into a Vaporeon (you lose Tyranitar coverage but I'll get to that) or give Jirachi Thunderpunch over SR. If you pick the first, run max Speed on Jirachi for insurance vs Dragon Dancers like Tyranitar and Salamence. Pick the second and you have to give Swampedt SR.

I prefer to give Rachi T-Punch and replace Roar for SR on Pert. I guess that will help because I used to go to Zapdos and take a +1 SE which would leave me low on health.
