sweet I can't wait, after the disapointment of starcrat ghost. I love playing the first one even though I'm not very good.
 
Starcraft 2 has a LOT to live up to. Fortunately, Use Map Settings games have consistently gotten better over the years for Blizzard, so I can safely bet that Starcraft 2 will have the best UMS games :-p

As far as the actual engine, they haven't released enough info yet to really see if they got the feel down. One key factor of Starcraft was that coordination was necessary so that you can micro your units to a victory, yet the strategy part could never be ignored.

Much of starcraft played out like an action game, and I think that auto-casting may remove the action and coordination needed to play the game at the maximum level.

StarCraft II, compared to Warcraft III, has fewer abilities but are much more potent when executed properly, thus making them manual cast will give players a huge opportunity to demonstrate much skill in the game. For right now auto cast is out except on the medics. I don't see them putting it in since a lot of fans are hating it along with multiple building selection.

i use this site for all my SC2 stuff and SC pro gaming scene stuff as well.
Man I can't wait for this shit to come out. I'm also looking forward to Diablo 3. It is going to be a good couple of years for gaming 8)
