Team
:chansey: :chesnaught: :quaquaval: :clodsire: :skeledirge: :mandibuzz:

Initially, this team was a belly drum Azumaril semi-stall team. However, after being refused a sample slot by Queen of Bean, I reflected a bit. I then edited the team to be better into Heatran with Quaquaval over Azumaril. Despite it becoming significantly more solid, it was refused yet again... Nonetheless, I recognized the team had great potential, so I took to ladder with it.

The first few edits involved Scream Tail/Jirachi and were highly customizable (The team still is). Later, I realized that with double hazard removal, I could afford to run Chansey instead. The results speak for themselves.

The Pokemon

:chansey:
Carapinga (Chansey) @ Eviolite
Ability: Serene Grace
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpA
Bold Nature
- Body Slam
- Seismic Toss
- Heal Bell
- Soft-Boiled

Walls: Special offensive Pokemon (Latios, Thunderous, Greninja, Hydrapple, Comfey, etc.).

Move set choice: It’s a twist on a classic Heal Bell status spread Chansey with Body Slam and Serene Grace replacing Thunder Wave and Natural Cure respectively. With Body Slam Serene Grace, I could still status Pokemon that normally get Thunder Waved by Chansey (Weavile, Lokix, Ogerpon-Cornerstone, Latios) alongside Pokemon that can traditionally avoid it or prevent it (Taunt Heatran, Taunt Tornadus-Therian, Excadrill). This spreading of the status naturally leads to an endgame where the speed invested Skeledirge can win by snowballing or easier handling threats due to their newly founded lack of speed. It can also give full para's, Carapinga

Role: General Special Wall, Status Spread, Status Removal

Tera type: Tera Ghost aids in miscellaneous mu’s like Nasty Plot Thunderous-Therian with Focus Blast and Knock Off Super Power Life Orb Deoxys. It can also act as an anti-spinner for Excadrill which is less risky. Finally, it can 1v1 physical Pokemon like Revavroom.

:chesnaught:
Chesnaught @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Bulletproof
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Synthesis
- Spikes
- Body Press
- Knock Off

Walls: Physical setup Pokemon without quadra super effective moves (Ogerpon-teal Ogerpon-Cornerstone, Excadrill, Scizor, Zarude, etc. It can also wall Sludge Bomb/Focus Blast, Volt Switch, Thunderbolt Thunderous, and Sandy Shocks pre-tera ice.

Move set choice: It’s a simple spikes stack set with Knock Off to aid in item removal for the hazard endgame. Knock also helps with ghost-type Tera’s on some of the physical setup Pokemon.

Role: General Physical wall, Item Removal, Hazard Stacker, Anti U-turn (Rocky Helmet Chip)

Tera: Tera Steel prevents some physical setup Pokemon like Weavile from setting up or fainting you. It can also potentially wall Pokemon like Taunt Tornadus-Therian.

:quaquaval:
Quaquaval @ Leftovers
Ability: Moxie
Tera Type: Electric
EVs: 252 HP / 180 Def / 76 SpD
Impish Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Knock Off
- Aqua Step
- Roost

Walls: Mainly Pokemon based on its typing like Weavile, Heatran, Arcanine Hisuian, etc.

Move set choice: Simple spin with Knock and extended defense to help it not die to Choice Banded Arcanine Hisuian and Swords Dance Weavile. It can sometimes pick up momentum to sweep post-walling.

Role: Situational Pivot, Item Removal, Hazard Removal, Potential Wincon

Tera: Tera Electric helps with Taunt Tornadus-Therian and Thunder Wave Cobalion volt turn spin cycle with free rapid spin.

:clodsire:
Clodsire (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 40 Def / 208 SpD / 8 Spe
Careful Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Poison Jab
- Recover
- Earthquake

Walls: Thunderous, Rotom-Wash, Assault Vest Tornadus-Therian, Cobalion, Monotype water move Pokemon like Slowking or Suicune, Volcanion, non-setup Azumarill, grounded Heatran, Keldeo, Comfey, and many specially offensive Pokemon without super effective moves.

Move set choice: Standard stealth rocks set with poison jab to help with spreading status, especially to Taunt Tornadus-Therian. It's also 8 speed Evs to outspeed other Clodsire consistently in the 1v1.

Role: General Special Defense wall, Anti Volt-turn Pokemon, Hazard Stacker, Status Spread.

Tera: Tera Ghost for anti-spinning, mono stab Quaquaval, and better mu into setup Pokemon like Thunderous, Keldeo, Enamorous, Comfey with Tera Ground, etc.

:skeledirge:
Skeledirge @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Unaware
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 248 HP / 80 Def / 64 SpD / 116 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Torch Song
- Hex
- Will-O-Wisp
- Slack Off

Walls: Physical sweepers without super effective moves and a large percentage of setup Pokemon with tera (Lokix, Weavile, Ogerpon-Cornerstone, Latios, Keldeo, Sinistcha, etc)

Move set choice: standard Skeledirge Will-O-Wisp set with wacky speed EVs to help with outspeeding paralyzed Pokemon and threats like modest Choice Specs Hydrapple, Conkeldurr, and non-max speed Azumaril.

Role: General Defensive wall, Anti-Losecon mon, Status Spreader, Status Abuser, Endgame Sweeper

Tera: Tera Fairy because it borderline helps it wall the entire tier. Shuts down most setup Pokemon, especially physical ones, with minimal effort thanks to Will-O-Wisp (Warning, must land).

:mandibuzz:
Mandibuzz @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Overcoat
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 248 HP / 244 Def / 16 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Defog
- Foul Play
- Roost
- Toxic

Walls: Most physical setup Pokemon like Excadrill, Zarude, Haxorus, etc. Also helps with Polteageist strength sap stored power variation.

Move set choice: Standard Hazard removal toxic Mandibuzz to act as a complete reset if hazards, terrain, or screens get too hectic.

Role: General Physical Wall, Anti Hazards, Anti Wincon Mon, status spread,

Tera: Tera Water helps with Rain/Sun to take pressure off of the other walls.

Weaknesses

Polteageist with Tera Blast, Flame Orb Conkeldurr with Façade, Nasty Plot thunderous, Manaphy Tail Glow/Take Heart, Banded Azumaril, Banded Arcanine in Sun, Life orb Pawmot with Ice Punch, random Leech Seed Pokemon, and Swords Dance Excadrill 30% of the time. Unknown threats can sometimes break due to a lack of Regenerator Pokemon to pivot into. Knowledge is Key to the team.

I think this team is disgusting in its design and can lead the way for other stall teams. As I noted in my initial post, there is a lot of customization available with the team’s composition. Anyone interested or left with any questions should feel free to send a message to my Discord account, Starbitstorm.

Huge Shoutouts to the following:
Starbitstorm, for making this team a little over a year ago so I could revamp it.

Tree69420, Askov, Estarossa, BigFatMantis, JustFranco, and all of the other stall UUsers for keeping the archetype alive and trying things even when we had more brokens around.

The UU community for banning so many stall threats (Keep it up guys!!!!)

Goro Yagami for an alt I used to first test the team with.

Don Eduardo aka Carapinga, for showing me that Thunder on Chansey is a terrible idea.

Lastly, Queen of Bean and the rest of the people in charge of UU samples for inspiring me to go to such lengths because they refused my sample team in favor of a Stall team that runs Hazard Stack without Knock Off and with Defog Cramorant…

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the team, and Happy Stalling!

hell naw bro is the modern day pif (please dont go get banned for misconduct)
