Howdy gang. This is a team that uses sticky web (wow), TWO stellar Tera pokemon , and Gravity. I wanted to try to recreate a cool team from a few years ago that uses gravity and sticky web too. I think it’s WAY easier to pull off webs this generation because of how you can reactively keep them up with gholdengo.

This team plays more like standard webs that happens to have a gravity landorus. It’s not core to the strategy, but instead gives an out vs cinderace and hatterene, by way of contrary enamorus. This team is decent, but pretty tough into the some teams that really triple down on anti-offense measures. Don’t think I quite got to 1900. There was a lot of dragonite. Check out BIG CHIKEN on ps for replays. Enjoy some of the hot tamale sets.

:ss/landorus-therian:
Ground Type (Landorus-Therian) @ Clear Amulet
Ability: Intimidate
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Earthquake
- Swords Dance
- Grass Knot
- Gravity

A nifty set and filthy breaker in its own right. This SD for free into a lot of landorus switchins and then breaks stuff. Grass knot beats dondozo and other than that, not much takes +2 eq. This can sneak through opposing landorus to open up el Giraffe.

:ss/raging bolt:
Raging Bolt @ Booster Energy
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 20 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Draco Meteor
- Thunderclap
- Discharge / Thunderbolt

Nothing too exciting. Just a crazy fat special version of kingambit. I prefer Draco over dragon pulse to hit the grounds on the obvious switch. This can take some hits and be brought back by healing wish. Discharge is nice for paralysis, but that can be anything. Tera ghost is anti dragonite.

:gholdengo:
NO SPIN 4 U (Gholdengo) @ Life Orb
Ability: Good as Gold
Tera Type: Stellar
EVs: 84 HP / 252 SpA / 172 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Psyshock
- Tera Blast
- Hex

Hot n spicy. Mr 6-0 stall no problemo. If you think about it, make it rain is bad (but dont think more than that). You KO clodsire with Tera psyshock. Beat any defense Tera steel/dark with Tera blast, and then life orb hex is gross power against statused Pokémon. Use this to block spin. Don’t need to keep it alive after it’s done that. +2 stellar tera blast kos kingambit

:ss/enamorus:
IHATETERAIHATETERA (Enamorus) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Contrary
Tera Type: Stellar
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Tera Blast
- Earth Power
- Healing Wish

I hate Tera, what can I say. This is a great sweeper that can click through teams once webs are down. Not much counter play if theyre slower. There’s a time in many sticky web games where you may have this in against a great tusk that wants to spin. They Tera fire/fire/poison vs your obvious moonblast, but instead get deleted by stellar blast, which need I remind you is super effective vs Tera’d targets, and then you win. Metronome or expert belt are also options.

:ss/samurott hisui:
BAD SET (Samurott-Hisui) @ Black Glasses
Ability: Sharpness
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Ceaseless Edge
- Aqua Cutter
- Sucker Punch

SD samurott is pretty ferocious. At +2 you’ll clean up vs a lot of teams alone. This slot was darkrai, but I really needed something to set hazards to break some sashes or sturdy. Keep this alive vs weavile. Sucker punch is great for nabbing unexpected kills against things that only think you have aqua jet for speed. Tera ghost and you can beat zamazenta

:ss/ribombee:
webs (Ribombee) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Shield Dust
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 72 HP / 252 Def / 184 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Sticky Web
- Moonblast
- Psychic Noise
- Stun Spore

The least for last. Set webs, paralyze things and stop healing. Fat so that you can set webs vs weavile. It’s the best webs setter, but that’s not saying much.

Tips:
  • Gravity is cool but not the point of the team. Use it to play for landorus selfishly. The enamorus part is just a gimmick
  • raging and enamorus are main win conditions. You can use one to aggressively break for the other
  • Samurott really messes up bulky (non stall)
  • Gholdengo is all you need vs stall. Get it in safe and click nasty plot
bad matchups
weavile, dragonite, rain, cinderace + late game valiant (faster than +1 enam). You can be lame and run zamazenta yourself to instantly win vs all these things, but where the spice in that?

any and all feedback welcome. I think evs could be better across the board. Maybe roaring moon or some more speed control dark types could fit in here if there’s a better approach to hazards? (I am a glimmora addict)

funny gholdengo vs stall

This is absolute Heat, got the team a day early cause I watched a game of you playing this live. You posted the team in Chat after I wrote sth like heat, lmao. Played a few games and got shredded cause I am incompetent. Will try it out later in a serious attempt.
