Sticky Situation

Since I am not a fan on OU, I have continued to experiment with different things in the UU tier and have come up with this interesting idea.

Leavanny --> Focus Sash
Adamant Nature
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpDef / 252 Spd
Ability: Swarm
- Sticky Web
- Magic Coat
- Leaf Blade
- X-Scissor

Leavanny is almost always my lead in any situation. Its running Adamant over Jolly because unless someone is using cincinno or ambipom, its going to be living a hit with the sash and will get up sticky web. While this thing may seem like a suicide lead, it can actually be a decent threat. It hits hard and if I have the posssibility of saving it, then I will. Magic coat to avoid counter leads like sableye and then dual STAB to hit hard, especially with Swarm.

Gligar --> Eviolite
Impish Nature
EVs: 252 Hp / 252 Def / 4 SpDef
Ability: Immunity
- Acrobatics
- Stealth Rock
- Roost
- Toxic

Gligar is another wall I have yet to use due to Knock Off being so prevelant but it can take hits nicely. It has great bulk with the eviolite and decent enough bulk without it. Immunity also allows it to have a Toxic immunity, unlike some other physical walls. Acrobatics makes good use of being knocked off, stealth rock is self-explanotory, roost for healing and then toxic because toxic

Tentacruel --> Black Sludge
Careful Nature
EVs: 252 Hp / 224 SpDef / 32 Spd
Ability: Liquid Ooze
- Rapid Spin
- Knock Off
- Waterfall
- Toxic

Tentacruel forms the second part of my defensive core and is used mostly just for its rapid spin capabilities. It has max hp and then just enough speed to outspeed base 115s like mega-absol and mega-houndoom to hit them with waterfall and then the rest dumped into special defense. Knock Off because knock off and then toxic as the status of choice. I am not the biggest fan of tentacruel but am forced to use him since defog on this team would be counter-productive and I dont know of any rapid spinners who could also take special hits.

Articuno --> Choice Specs
Timid Nature
EVs: 80 Hp / 252 SpAtk / 176 Spd
IVs: 30 SpAtk / 30 SpDef
Ability: Pressure
- Freeze Dry
- Hurricane
- Hidden Power Ground
- U-turn

Articuno may seem like an odd choice but I really wanted to use something with freeze-dry. A lot of people dont see it coming so they may leave in pokemon like swampert or like slowbro. I have the odd hp number, max special attack and then just enough speed to outspeed Mega-Manectric and other base 130s. Freeze-Dry because its a super cool move, Hurricane for the other STAB, HP ground for coverage on fire and steel types and then U-Turn to keep momentum. This is why tentacruel and its rapid spin is very important.

Malamar --> Assault Vest
Jolly Nature
EVs: 4 Hp / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Ability: Contrary
- Superpower
- Psycho Cut
- Night Slash
- Facade

The main sweeper of the team, if you dont be careful, it could really surprise you. I had wanted to use this but never really thought of a good set for it. When I saw BT's video, I knew that was the one. With Sticky Web, it can outspeed a lot of grounded things and hit them hard while boosting with superpower and taking hits with the AV and the defense boosts. Psycho Cut and Night Slash for the STABs and then facade if I ever get burnt really. What is also good is you can easily switch in on Defog and get a nice evasion boost.

Kyurem --> Leftovers
Modest Nature
EVs: 64 Hp / 252 SpAtk / 192 Spd
Ability: Pressure
- Ice Beam
- Earth Power
- Substitute
- Roost

This thing is honestly amazing, one of the best pokemon I have used. With pressure it can easily stall out moves that will hurt it with sub and roost. With its great bulk, it's sub can take certain chip hits and live to tell the tale. Its coverage is great and hits relatively hard. With rocks off the field, this thing can be very dangerous and takes the role as my third main sweeper. Ice Beam and Earth Power for the great coverage, Substitute to avoid Toxics and then Roost to heal off any damage. This thing is honestly outstanding.

Feedback is appreciated, replacements for any moves, changes to EVs and changes to the defensive core are appreciated as well. Thanks!

It doesn't make much sense to use a bunch of defensive Pokémon on a Sticky Web team. All they really end up doing is losing momentum for the rest of your team and can't take advantage of Sticky Web all too well. A Stealth Rocker and Rapid Spinner that would fit much better on this team over Gligar and Tentacruel would be Nidoqueen and Mega Blastoise, as they have much higher offensive presence and don't end up being such momentum drains because of that. Plus, due to their tankier natures and typing they can still contribute to the team defensively, with Queen still providing a Volt Switch absorber and Fighting resistance and M-Blastoise providing a Fire resist.

As for your individual sets, I don't think Specs Articuno is much good since it gets worn down very quickly (even with Spin support) and most of its moves are bad to be locked into. If you want to use an offensive Cuno you should be using LO + Roost, since it can switch up moves and recover its health with Roost while not being ~too~ much weaker. (Another option is to use LO Shaymin because honestly I think it fits better here, but that's a slightly more trivial change.) Also Façade is useless on Malamar since you don't want to be statused anyway, so tbh I would ditch Assault Vest for something like Lum Berry and use something like Destiny Bond in that last slot, since it can act as an emergency "threat control" against a bulkier sweeper like Crocune or Curselax and avoid random status like Scald burns with Lum.

Nidoqueen @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 128 HP / 252 SAtk / 128 Spd (outspeeds base 100s after Sticky Web)
Modest Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earth Power
- Sludge Wave
- Ice Beam

Blastoise @ Blastoisinite
Ability: Rain Dish
EVs: 144 HP / 252 SAtk / 112 Spd (same as Nidoqueen, outspeeds 100s after Web)
Modest Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Water Pulse
- Dark Pulse
- Aura Sphere

Articuno @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Freeze Dry
- Hurricane
- Ice Beam / Substitute
- Roost

Malamar: Assault Vest --> Lum Berry, Façade --> Destiny Bond

For a Sticky Web team, I would suggest to use Kingdra, because even though Crits have been nerfed 6th gen, it still does a good amount of damage with Sniper. Sticky Web should just be for making everything as slow as possible against Kingdra. The pokemon I would suggest switching out with King would be gligar. A gligar with bulk is good against all types but ice. A 4x weakness obtilerates 90% of things that have one, unless you have iron defensed or amnesiad to the max. Also, you need more attack. Stalling isn't going to do anything. Finally, Knock Off is great, Because nearly everyone is going to have a strategy based on their items, but as I said, a 4x weakness is terrible, and a Kingdra can just obtilerate everything. Yeah...soo I need to eat dinner...so I'll post the Kingdra setlater.

Last minute-before-dinner edit:stage hazards should be on one pokemon...

A-few-hours-after-dinner edit:
Kingdra@Scope Lens
Ability:Sniper
Evs-252SAtk,252Atk,4Speed
Hasty Nature
-Draco Meteor
-Outrage
-Focus Energy
-Scald
IMPORTANT:Opponent must be affected by sticky web in order for this to work!

I definitely get your points so I have come up with some sets for the two, not sure if the speed investment on either is really worth it though

Nidoqueen --> Life Orb
Modest Nature
EVs: 136 Hp / 252 SpAtk / 120 Spd
Ability: Sheer Force
- Earth Power
- Sludge Wave
- Ice Beam
- Stealth Rock

The speed is used to outspeed base 105s like mienshao

Mega-Blastoise --> Blastoisinite
Modest Nature
EVs: 140 Hp / 252 SpAtk / 116 Spd
Ability: Mega Launcher
- Water Pulse
- Aura Sphere
- Dark Pulse
- Rapid Spin

The speed is used to outspeed base 100s like non scarfed victini or mew

I think you're a little mistaken over the speed EV spreads...
You're assuming that the other pokemon don't add EVs in their sets as well. Make sure you know which pokemon might also have speed EV's.
For example, nearly everyone will add 252 Speed EVs onto Mienshao. In that case, there is no possible way any variant of (except scarf) Nidoqueen could outspeed.
Similarly, you put 32 spd EVs on Tentacruel because it would outspeed M-Absol and M-Houndoom. Most of them time both of them will run max or close to max EVs, so there's almost no way your Tentacruel could outspeed. (Again, Choice Scarf Tentacruel is extremely gimmicky)

Make sure you put the EV's into other areas; you could add them to HP for extra bulk.
For example, put the speed ev's from Blastoise into HP and for Nidoqueen into Sp. Defense.

Of course I know they will be investing as well, when i say they outspeed them, i mean when they come in on sticky web and have their speed lowered. but you are right in some form, I have recalculated my speed EVs and have found that I would actually need about 160 to outspeed base 105s on nidoqueen. My EVs on blastoise are fine though to outspeed base 100s after web
