SS OU Sticky Web BO (will need a bit of help)

STICKY WEB BULKY OFFENSE
:ribombee: :Landorus-Therian: :Volcarona: :Bisharp: :Zapdos-galar: :Suicune:

Sticky webs is one of my favorite playstyles. But this team needs your help. This is a team that's gonna be good if your prediction game is on, but mediocre when its off. Double Switches, Aggressive play are the name of the game with offense in its name anyway.

My teambuilding process:

:ribombee: was my choice for web setter since its got a good offensive presence and has a fast U-turn to provide some chip that my team lacks.

:ribombee: :Landorus-Therian:

:Landorus-Therian: was the first choice sweeper since it is the KING of OU. Also the typing of Ground/Flying is just so good. A SW set fits perfectly with the style i want to go with.

:ribombee: :Landorus-Therian: :Volcarona:

Bulky Quiver Dance Queen Mothra is one of the most threatening sweepers since it threatens from a non toxic :Heatran: to :toxapex:. Hits hard and easy to set up with the abundance of :Bisharp:'s and :Corviknight:'s

:ribombee: :Landorus-Therian: :Volcarona: :Bisharp:

Oh you brought defog? Thanks for giving :Bisharp: a +2 Boost for free. Switches in on defog :Corviknight: and :Landorus-Therian: well. And threatens them with Sucker Punches and Knock offs. And taking advantage you can easily stack another SW. One of the best wallbreakers out there.

:ribombee: :Landorus-Therian: :Volcarona: :Bisharp: :Zapdos-galar:

Cant have too many defiant mons. +1 Banded Brave Bird mauls defensive :Landorus-Therian: 62.5% of the time. And with just a bit of chip (from :ribombee: for example) it gets easier. And since :Landorus-Therian: switches in regularly its easy to get it into the KO range. Nonetheless I open with it many times just to see Defensive :Landorus-Therian: drop in one shot.

:ribombee: :Landorus-Therian: :Volcarona: :Bisharp: :Zapdos-galar: :Suicune:

:Suicune: is the glue to my team. I was really weak to banded :Urshifu-rapid-strike: and Toxic :Heatran: and its a decent check to both. Also provides the crucial status absorption. (Yes its a CroCune)

THE TEAM

I like to call it Chess Pieces.

ribombee-totem.gif

Pawn (Ribombee) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Shield Dust
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Sticky Web
- Moonblast
- Stun Spore

- U-turn

A normal set not too fancy. Moonblast is a nice move to spam if its not gonna do a lot in the matchup. Heavydutyboots is the item of choice here, since I like having a mon keep webs up for the whole match than just once. This opens up being revenge killed by priority though so watch out. This mon is able to revenge kill Banded :Urshifu-rapid-strike: and can take a Close combat/Aqua Jet well before OHKO'ing it back. It is also capable of stomaching a Shadow Ball from Specs :dragapult: (And revenge killing it if Webs are up). Pawn brings more utility and attacking strength than one would imagine to this team.
Calcs:
252 Atk Choice Band Urshifu-Rapid-Strike Aqua Jet vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Ribombee: 148-175 (56.7 - 67%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Urshifu-Rapid-Strike Close Combat vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Ribombee: 111-130 (42.5 - 49.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Dragapult Shadow Ball vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Ribombee: 219-258 (83.9 - 98.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

King (Landorus-Therian) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Substitute

THE KING of OU is here. This mon is an ABSOLUTE BEAST. From :Heatran: to :Toxapex: all run in fear of its mighty EQ and a single Crit from Stone edge in :corviknight:'s face is all it needs to send its HP rolling to 0. The only thing that its weak to is Toxic before sub and getting revenge killed by faster mons or Priority.
This is a beast and can finish teams from the word go.
-1 252 Atk Choice Band Urshifu-Rapid-Strike Close Combat vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Landorus-Therian: 106-126 (33.2 - 39.4%)

+2 252 Atk Landorus-Therian Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Toxapex: 378-446 (124.3 - 146.7%)
+2 252 Atk Landorus-Therian Stone Edge vs. 248 HP / 168+ Def Corviknight: 176-208 (44.1 - 52.1%)

Queen (Volcarona) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Quiver Dance
- Roost
- Flamethrower

- Psychic
All Hail Queen Mothra. This mon is one of the biggest threats to all the teams out there. It gets over in a jiffy if she says, "its my turn" (and the matchup is right). The only things that she hates are :Blissey: ,:Heatran: and status effects (Mainly Poison). Psychic is chosen over Bug Buzz to fish for special drops and kill :Toxapex: in one hit (after quiver dances).
0 SpA Volcarona Psychic vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Urshifu-Rapid-Strike: 254-300 (74.4 - 87.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO (The problem)
0- Atk Ribombee U-turn vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Urshifu-Rapid-Strike: 21-25 (6.1 - 7.3%) (The solution)
+6 0 SpA Volcarona Psychic vs. -1 252 HP / 136+ SpD Heatran: 191-225 (49.4 - 58.2%) -- 65.6% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
+6 0 SpA Volcarona Flamethrower vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Blissey: 385-454 (53.9 - 63.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
ok ik they are +6 but that's what you get for these chunkys

Bishop (Zapdos-Galar) @ Choice Band
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Brave Bird
- U-turn

- Stomping Tantrum
G-Zapdos is one of the weaker points of the team but its wall breaking is unmatched. Can check :Heatran: offensively and hits :Slowbro: & :Slowking: for great damage with U-Turn. Can lead with it since many leads are :Landorus-Therian: and can just take it out with a Brave Bird. Can Switch into Defogs as well. This mon can work both like a Wall Breaker or as a late game cleaner. I prefer its former though.
+1 252 Atk Choice Band Zapdos-Galar Brave Bird vs. 252 HP / 164+ Def Landorus-Therian: 358-423 (93.7 - 110.7%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO
+2 252 Atk Choice Band Zapdos-Galar Close Combat vs. 248 HP / 168+ Def Corviknight: 426-502 (106.7 - 125.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Choice Band Zapdos-Galar Brave Bird vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Toxapex: 153-181 (50.3 - 59.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Zapdos-Galar Brave Bird vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Dragapult: 360-424 (113.5 - 133.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Knight (Bisharp) @ Black Glasses
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Iron Head
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch

Bisharp is one of the most underrated mons on this roster. Capable of revenge killing almost all opponents, this mon is a Wall breaker extreme. Capable of drilling HUGE holes, Knight is one of the most Important mons on this team since it checks Specs :dragapult: and the slow Twins. It is very easy to grab another dance purely by aggressive play. After this, you may sacrifice it as you please and watch as the King and Queen wreak havoc.
252+ Atk Black Glasses Bisharp Sucker Punch vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Urshifu-Rapid-Strike: 73-87 (21.4 - 25.5%)
252 Atk Choice Band Urshifu-Rapid-Strike Surging Strikes (3 hits) vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Bisharp on a critical hit: 279-327 (102.9 - 120.6%)
+1 252+ Atk Black Glasses Bisharp Sucker Punch vs. 252 HP / 164+ Def Landorus-Therian: 184-217 (48.1 - 56.8%)
+2 252+ Atk Black Glasses Bisharp Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 248 HP / 168+ Def Corviknight: 306-360 (76.6 - 90.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Rook (Suicune) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Rest
- Calm Mind
- Scald

- Sleep Talk
After wiping infinite times (not with this team) to a VinCune and needing a good check to banded :Urshifu:'s Surging strikes since i had other switches for CC, I went with a classic CroCune with 252 def and a Bold nature to maximize its hit taking potential. It also serves as my main status absorber and :Volcarona: and :Heatran: check. This is one of the most indispensable mons on this team and holds fort for it. Its weak to :Ferrothorn:, :Blissey: and getting worn down by Hazards .
252 Atk Choice Band Urshifu-Rapid-Strike Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Suicune: 193-228 (47.7 - 56.4%)
252 Atk Choice Band Urshifu-Rapid-Strike Surging Strikes (3 hits) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Suicune on a critical hit: 90-108 (22.2 - 26.7%)
252 Atk Life Orb Kartana Leaf Blade vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Suicune: 322-382 (79.7 - 94.5%)

Threat list
1.
183px-Urshifu_fluido_EpEc.gif

Didnt mention it enough but :Urshifu:'s every set is one of the biggest threat. The one and only solution is maybe sacking the :Zapdos-galar:/:Bisharp: and revenge killing cuz switching into it is a nightmare. :Ribombee: can switch into an Aqua jet/CC but cant take Surging Strikes. :Suicune: can take Surging strikes but not more than 1 CC. All you can do is just pray this thing never crits you.

2.
kartana.gif

:Kartana: is a threat to EACH AND EVERY TEAM and this team is no exception. Knock off cripples :Volcarona: by a mile since I do NOT have hazard control. But later revenge killing is easy (if webs are up) so sacking is the way to go. This thing threatens :Suicune: big time and forces it out. But its stabs are easier to cover and a potential burn from Scald/Flame body (if you are lucky) is always on the platter. Also many dont carry Knock Off so its easier to maneuver with :Volcarona: and its Roost.

3.
c118edd931b869d0b9d9aafd0c9a6cc9468cbfb7_00.gif

Opposing :Bisharp:s are a big threat. But the solution is just NOT laying Webs until either this thing goes down or Brawling with it. But Brawling with a +2 :Bisharp: (Which MIGHT have a Choice Band) is not a good idea. But if it is, you can just sack while scouting the set and revenge kill.

4. Most of my mons are weak to status. Mainly Poison but burns on physical attackers hurt too.

Finally....
Why do I need help? Because I am not winning enough with this team. I feel something is missing. A Wall breaker? A Cleaner? I don't know. Its maybe a cleaner. But I clearly need help. So here is sth i can do:

1. Stun Spore < Aromatherapy on :Ribombee: since my team is weak to status and can cure :Suicune:'s sleep too
2. Switch :Zapdos-Galar: for a completely different mon.

All the answers and help will be appreciated

You named BISHARP, the only pokemon named after a chess piece, after THE WEONG PIECE. 0/10

Jk, it’s a cool team and I really like that riombee, however I find volcorona a bit weird since with 0 SPA it can struggle for heavy fast damage and with quiver dance webs become a bit redundant, you could try specs since nobody expects it. Ir just adding another heavy special sweeper.
