Introduction to the team
Today, I am introducing you to a team revolving around Sand Rush Stoutland! The inspriation flared up when I was flicking through powerful normal type pokemon as that is my favourite type by far, and I came across this massive attack stat with sand rush. So with sand being my favoruite form of weather, I present you the force of stoutland.

The Team
Stoutland @ Life Orb
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Return
- Superpower
- Wild Charge
- Crunch

The absolute bread and butter of the team, this pokemon is definitely overlooked. Wild Charge provides me needed coverage against water types when-needed. Return is there for pure power with STAB life orb damage with that massive 110 base attack, what can go wrong if everything that resists it goes out the window? Superpower and crunch is self-explanatory. With Sand rush, this pokemon outspeeds most of the meta, and some even with scarf. Jolly is there to outspeed scarf serperior in sand which is a massive threat to this team.

Tyranitar @ Chople Berry
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Crunch

The sand setter. I chose chople berry as the item to take a hit from charizard-y relatively well, as that pokemon tends to do quite well against this team if played right. Rock slide is there counter Mega-Charizard Y as well as stealth rock to dent it when incoming. Crunch is there for a stab move, thinking of replacing it with pursuit though to trap psychic types.

Excadrill @ Steelium Z
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Rapid Spin

Whats ttar without its partner exca? Besides the obvious destructive power of excadrill. It is an excellent member to this team as it covers the ttar on the opposing teams and many other threats with the steelium Z. One swords dance up and this pokemon could potentially sweep.

Sylveon @ Leftovers
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Protect
- Hyper Voice
- Wish
- Heal Bell

wish passer into char Y exca and ttar, as well as dealing with medicham and lopunny

Charizard @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Flamethrower
- Focus Blast
- Solar Beam
- Air Slash

Ground immunity and helps me deal with wash with solarbeam

Tangrowth @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
- Leech Seed
- Giga Drain

I chose tangrowth to deal with lopunny and kartana and eq to deal with heatran on the switch in expecting hp fire on a ferrothorn.

252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Focus Blast vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Chople Berry Tyranitar: 220-260 (54.5 - 64.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Life Orb Stoutland Wild Charge vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Charizard-Mega-Y: 278-328 (93.6 - 110.4%) -- 56.3% chance to OHKO

I'm fairly new to making these sort of posts and organising it so excuse me if it isn't the best layed out and explained.

Threats that I struggle to deal with are:
Mega Lopunny
Kartana
Tangrowth

EDIT: Changed ferro to tangrowth

Welcome to Smogon! I'm locking your RMT for the time being as the forum rules require that you provide at least 3 lines of descriptions for each Pokemon to explain their roles. Please read the rules carefully and take a look at Team Showcase to see the level of detail we require. PM me with updated descriptions and I'll be happy to unlock this.
