ORAS OU Stuck in 1400 RMT Need help

I came back to Showdown a few Days ago but i've been stuck in the 1400's and can't get past it. I need some help to better my team so here goes.

The First Mon That I have here is Mega Venasuar. It's a really solid Bulky Mega that Shurg of both special and Physical hits with ease and can respond with a possible poison through Sludge bomb. It's reliable and has won me games Late with its sheer bulk.

Venusaur @ Venusaurite
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 248 HP / 96 Def / 144 SpD / 20 Spe
Bold Nature
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Synthesis
- Hidden Power [Fire]

I run the standard defensive set with HP fire which can help me get rid of annoying Steel Types like Scizor, Ferrothorn, Skarmory and the like. Every Other move is standard and has decent coverage especially with Sludge Bomb which hits Nuetral Pokemon decently hard and can toxic them.

The Second Mon is Scarftran. He is often an unexpected revenge killer and can catch Fast Glass Canon pokemon like Lopunny, Gengar, Weavile, and even Bisharp off guard by Ok'oe after Rocks with Overheat. It's not as reliable anymore against bird spam due to no defensive investment but the surprise factor makes up for it.

Heatran @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 28 HP / 252 SpA / 228 Spe
Hasty Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 Def
- Overheat
- Earth Power
- Flash Cannon
- Stone Edge

I Run Earthpower for opposing heatrans that are switching in. Stone Edge to Kill TalonFlame and Flash Cannon to check fairy types. Overheat is really powerful and It's not a fun move for opposing teams to switch in on since it's so powerful.

Next we have Support Latias. This is new addition to the team. I was running mew before but it just feels like that slot is wasted by mew so i decided to test out Latias. This is a defensive set. Latias is nuetral to rocks and immune to spikes so it makes it a good defoger

Latias (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 68 Def / 192 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunder Wave
- Defog
- Dragon Pulse
- Recover

Thunderwave helps cripple Mega Charizard X and Y so Slower pokemon like the assualt vest Hoopa can come in and clean it up without worrying about being outsped. I don't mind if Latias is replaced with something more viable and usefu.

The next Pokemon Is Assualt Vest Hoopa Unbound. I really like the Assault vest set on Hoopa. It Shugs off LifeOrb Dracos like nothing, shrugs off Life Orb Gengar and can proceed to force a switch out because of it Oking Latios, Latias, Gengar and 2Hit Ko'e other special attack users. The only special treat to this is Mega Gardevoir.

Hoopa-Unbound @ Assault Vest
Ability: Magician
Happiness: 0
EVs: 252 Atk / 64 SpD / 192 Spe
Adamant Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 Def
- Hyperspace Fury
- Drain Punch
- Ice Punch
- Gunk Shot

The Next Pokemon on my Team is Umbreon. Brings great SPDef stats and can wall most special threats and can take hits from physical attackers as well with full investment in HP. Acts as Heal Bell and Wisher.

Umbreon @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Foul Play
- Wish
- Heal Bell
- Protect

Foul Play Scares Latios, and other psychic types. it also forces physical attackers without fighting type moves to switch do to Umbreons recover and bulk. Heal Bell and Wish Heals Hoopa and company from annoying status attacks.

The Last Pokemon is Landorous T . Good Stealth Rocker and great physical tank with intimidate alongside with rockyhelmet. Discourages Mega Medichams, Mega Lopunny's from using Fakeout on the Mega Evolve. Overall good physical tank.

Landorus-Therian @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- U-turn
- Earthquake
- Knock Off

EarthQuake is the mandatory Stab Move to hit weak electric types. It also does a decent amount of damage on Tankchomp. Knockoff removes opposing teams items such as annoying leftover stall mons like Heatran which can wall the rest of my team aside from Hoopa and Lando. U-Turn helps into pivots to make smart switches against physical attackers such as switching into Mega Venasaur to sponge up the hit the switching back into Lando to force a switch due to the decrease in attack.

This is my Team Guys really want some suggestions to better it. Also some Tips would be great. I'm still not very experienced and I often lose due to some slight misplay.

Hi, I've some tips.
Venusaur needs a check for Talonflame and Latwins, Heatran is ok, but you could try a pursuiter, such Scizor or Tyranitar. I prefer Tyranitar because it has a fantastic synergy with Venusaur.
So, you could try a defensive set on Heatran and a CS set on Tyranitar.

Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 192 SpD / 68 Spe
Calm Nature
- Lava Plume
- Toxic
- Taunt / Roar
- Stealth Rock

Tyranitar @ Choice Scarf <- Umbreon
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stone Edge
- Pursuit
- Superpower
- Crunch

In your team, a offensive, Umbreon don't work well.
You could try a more offensive set on Latias.

Latias @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 72 HP / 184 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Defog
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Healing Wish

It hits really hard and Venusaur loves the Healing Wish support.

Hey there cool team, unlucky it has some problem facing stall and you have some problems againist Bisharp. It also as difficult breaking balanced cores like Hippowdown/Tornadus-Therian/Clefable, who can wall all your team just by theirself.

My first suggestion is to change Hoopa's set to a more offensive version with Life Orb over Assault Vest. this way you will have a much stronger wall breaker to give you a better matchup againist stall and the balanced core I told you in the first paragraph. Hyperspace Fury / Psychic or Focus Blast / Gunk Shot / Grass Knot should be your moveset, allowing you to hit supereffectively almost all the meta. 56 Evs in Special Attack will allow you to have a clean OHKO on Hippowdown with Grass Knot, with the rest bumped in speed and attack.

I told you in the introduction that you have a problem againist Bisharp, so I suggest you to run Keldeo over Umbreon. Keldeo will have a nice sinergy with your team, completing the FireGrassWater core between him, Venusaur and Heatran. Umbreon, by the way, isn't a really viable mon in OU, and many times it can be a dead weight for your team :(

Bulky Garchomp over Landorus-Therian is a nice change imo. Garchomp will still help you checking pokemons like Metagross, Lopunny, Talonflame and some more, and it will help you to rack up more residual damage thanks to Rough Skin and Rocky Helmet.

On Latias I suggest to use the alexxjak's set (read the post over mine), but with Roost over Healing Wish. Your team doesn't have setup sweepers that can appreciate a second chance, maybe only Hoopa, but the longevity gave by Roost is really helpful in many case!

This is all, good luck with your team :toast:
