Staraptor @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Reckless
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Double-Edge
- Close Combat
- U-turn
Staraptor serves two main purposes on this team. It is the lead u-turner for this team as well my late game clean up sweeper once everyone else has worn down the opponents. Reckless STAB Brave Bird and Double Edge are really threatening and usually 2HKO most of the Meta. Close Combat helps with coverage and breaks down walls such as Ferrothorn and Skarmory. U-turn is used to gain momentum for Staraptor and to have more coverage.

Landorus @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Earth Power
- Focus Blast
- Psychic
This guy is an absolute beast. Earth Power decimates anything that isn't flying or levitating. His base speed stat of 101 allows him to outspeed many common threats like Char X and Y, Mega Medicham, and many more.
Landorus is easy to switch into because it's immune to electric attacks aimed at Staraptor and Ground attacks aimed at Heatran.

Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SAtk / 252 SDef
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Lava Plume
- Stealth Rock
- Will-O-Wisp Toxic
- Roar
Heatran's purpose is to set up rocks and take any special attack that isn't ground water or fighting all of which Trevenant/Gyarados take for him. Along with flash fire which protects Trevenant from those pesky fire types. Toxic to whittle the health of things that can't be burned by lava plume. Final roar rounds out the final slot phasing out annoying set ups like Clefairy and baton passers.

Gyarados @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SDef
Impish Nature
- Waterfall
- Taunt
- Roar
- Toxic
Gyarados is here to handle all the physical things the others can't with Intimidate. Toxic to whittle down health, taunt to prevent set up sweeping and to help keep himself from become statused. Waterfall manages to give him some good hitting power and prevents him from being taunt bait.

Mandibuzz (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SDef / 8 Spd
Calm Nature
- Taunt
- Defog
- Toxic
- Foul Play
My second special wall. But its primary purpose is to to defog way the stealth rocks that wreak havoc on my Staraptor that already receives large amounts of recoil damage thanks to reckless. Mandibuzz's overcoat ability also allows it to take spore and sleep powder attacks it Trevenant has fallen.

Trevenant @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Harvest
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 180 Def / 76 Spd
Impish Nature
- Leech Seed
- Will-O-Wisp
- Substitute
- Phantom Force
Mixed wall and my primary Azumarill counter able to take its attacks then willow/seed it to while hidden with phantom force and substitue. with harvest/Sitrus if its health ever does become to low. Also incredibly good at dealing with annoying eviolite Chansey who can't break its subs with siesmic toss and can't heal away leech seed.

You have wow on Heatran instead of Toxic. I'm not sure purely defensive Gyarados is a good idea, especially considering that it has no healing outside of leftovers. Mandibuzz does a much better job than Gyarados at being a physical wall, and Gyarados can fulfill another role (either mega, moxie sweeper, etc). Mandibuzz also really needs roost, as without it, it can't wall effectively since it can't heal off damage.

I think the problem here is that you have pokes overlapping in their duties. Gyarados has Taunt, Mabdibuzz doesn't need to run it and can run the (much better) roost.
On the topic of Gyarados, a bulky offensive set may serve you better, giving you another attacker aside from Lando I & Staraptor as well as keeping decent bulk.

•Gyarados
Leftovers
Adamant (+Atk, -SpAtk)
196 Hp/144 Atk/24SpDef/144 Spe
~Waterfall
~Bounce
~Substitute/Taunt
~Dragon Dance

With Gyara turning more offensive, switch Mandi to a Physical Defensive set, it's a better wall anyway as it has (the superior IMO) roost if you take away taunt.

Defensive Core: Heatran/Trev/Mandi
Offensive Core: Gyara/Lando
Revenge Killer: Staraptor

That's the set for the bulky Gyara I use, with swapped moves so you can keep taunt.
