Sludge Bomb is Galarian Stunfisk's main way of dealing with common Ground-type checks, spreading poison onto the likes of Xatu, Mantine, and Rotom-C to avoid being entirely passive. Protect allows Galarian Stunfisk to scout its foes' moves while also gaining some HP with Leftovers. This can be especially useful against Choice Scarf users such as Rotom-C and Indeedee-F, which often attempt to debilitate Galarian Stunfisk with Trick. Alternatively, Thunder Wave allows Galarian Stunfisk to support its teammates by slowing down potential switch-ins such as Passimian and Alolan Exeggutor, while Foul Play hits physical attackers like Dhelmise and Golurk for great damage and punishes setup attempts from Swords Dance Silvally-Ground and Decidueye. Pain Split is another option to somewhat extend Galarian Stunfisk's longevity, although its massive HP stat often means it doesn't gain large pools of HP from using the move.

Thanks to Galarian Stunfisk compressing defensive roles, common offense staples such as Inteleon and Heliolisk can be used in conjunction with each other, and Pokemon like Diancie and Duraludon can run non-Stealth Rock sets. Despite the ways Galarian Stunfisk assists more offensive teammates, it also appreciates clerical support from Vaporeon and Sylveon, along with their respective Water and Fighting resistances. Additional Fighting- and Ground-type checks like Mantine, Talonflame, and Vileplume appreciate Galarian Stunfisk's Electric, Rock, and Psychic resistances, respectively.

Galarian Stunfisk can dig deep into its utility movepool to fill its last moveslot, although the listed options often outclass other possibilities. Stone Edge can be used to pressure opposing Flying-types such as Mantine, Xatu, and Talonflame, although you'd find the damage output quite disappointing. Scald targets opposing Ground-types such as Silvally-Ground and Golurk, doing solid damage while also having a chance to burn them. Yawn in conjunction with Snap Trap can be a nasty combo, forcing an unsuspecting Pokemon to sleep. Even Yawn by itself can be great for making the foe switch and take Stealth Rock damage, which lets Galarian Stunfisk procure Leftovers recovery.

Checks and Counters
====

**Fighting-types**: Pokemon like Passimian, Virizion, and Gallade can come in on Galarian Stunfisk relatively safely and threaten an OHKO or close to one. Even Toxicroak, despite its weakness to Earthquake, can take one hit and use Swords Dance and Drain Punch to effectively beat Galarian Stunfisk one-on-one.

**Ground-types**: Ground-types like Silvally-Ground, Mudsdale, and Golurk can very easily shrug off Galarian Stunfisk's weak attacks and respond with heavy damage or an OHKO, and they're often direct competition for the Ground-type slot on a team, giving Galarian Stunfisk teams one matchup to worry about against most other teams.

**Water-types**: Mantine, Gastrodon, and Starmie can all easily take Galarian Stunfisk's attacks and retaliate with a super effective Water-type move while having the reliable recovery to consistently do so. Offensive Water-types like Starmie and Inteleon make Galarian Stunfisk fall short as a special wall, boasting powerful Hydro Pumps to threaten an OHKO.

**Bulky Setup Sweepers**: Setup sweepers using Substitute or Rest can take advantage of Galarian Stunfisk's passivity and set up in its face, such as Curse Snorlax, Bulk Up Scrafty, and Glastrier.

**Xatu**: Xatu's Magic Bounce ability and immunity to Earthquake let it pivot around Galarian Stunfisk, with its only fear being a mildly annoying Sludge Bomb poison.

Galarian Stunfisk makes use of its unique typing and amazing natural bulk to prove to be quite the specialized wall, effortlessly taking on metagame staples such as Sylveon, Indeedee-F, and Rotom-Mow. Galarian-Stunfisk's potent utility movepool allows it to not be as passive as it may seem, threatening all kinds of status conditions via Scald, Yawn, Thunder Wave, or Sludge Bomb, or punishing unsuspecting attackers with a Snap Trap, Foul Play, or Counter. Despite the colorful disruptive options Galarian-Stunfisk's raw attacking stats leave much to be desired, as well as having simply a very poorly designed ability. Wallbreakers such as Gallade, Silvally-Ground, and Starmie can all hit the field in response to Galarian-Stunfisk without fear of taking too much damage and can threaten an OHKO or lasting damage due to Galarian-Stunfisk's lack of reliable recovery. (Probably would mention that in the end, it IS very reliant on status ailments to not be passive. If you can't get the poison on Pokemon like Xatu/Mantine/Talonflame---and then keep them poisoned---they keep switching into you with ease)

Sludge Bomb is Stunfisk-Galar's main way of threatening anything that responds to Stealth Rock or Earthquake such as Xatu, Rotom-Mow, and Mantine. Sludge Bomb's chance to poison and super-effective damage against opposing Grass-types keeps Stunfisk-Galar from being entirely passive. Stunfisk's final move slot is up to the user, although the utility one gets from Thunder Wave or Foul Play often outweighs the likes of Yawn, Scald, Counter, etc.. Pain Split is another option to somewhat extend Stunfisk-Galar's longevity, although its massive HP stat often means it doesn't gain large pools of HP from using the move. (Only Protect and Thunder Wave are worth slashing; none of the other moves mentioned see enough use to justify it. There's an argument for Snap Trap + Yawn to get a shout here---or you could keep that in Other Options---but many of the listed options beyond like, Scald, are too niche to keep here. Move them to OO if anything.)

Stunfisk-Galar offers a lot of role compression to a team; the highly coveted Steel-typing, capable of setting Stealth Rock, immune to Volt Switch, all while having great defensive stats. This compression allows for more offensive building with less regard for defensive integrity as Stunfisk-Galar ticks a lot of boxes for what a team often needs defensively by itself. Common offense staples such as Inteleon or Heliolisk can be used in conjunction with each other, or with other Pokemon now unburdened from the need to use Stealth Rock such as Diancie or Duraludon. Despite the ways Stunfisk-Galar assists more offensive teammates, it appreciates clerical support from defensive Pokemon Vaporeon and Sylveon, along with their respective Water- and Fighting-type resistances. Other Fighting-type checks like Mantine, Talonflame, and Vileplume appreciate Stunfisk-Galar's respective Electric-, Rock, and Psychic resistances. Despite Stunfisk-Galar's ability changing its typing in different Terrains often being a detriment, becoming a Psychic-type in Psychic Terrain actually even further improves its positive matchup against Indeedee-F, not only still resisting Expanding Force, but now also no longer being weak to Mystical Fire, although Earthquake loses its STAB bonus, making it much weaker.(Not really necessary to mention here imo; you already say it walls Indd-F in the Overview anyway)

As previously mentioned, Stunfisk-Galar can dig deep into its utility movepool to make the post of its great defensive profile; ranging from Yawn to Scald to Snap Trap. Any combination of utility moves could be made useful on any given team or in a specific matchup. Stunfisk-Galar could also potentially setup with Curse and Rest, although this role is often best left to Pokemon such as Snorlax or similar sweepers like Scrafty.(nope, this is very outclassed) (I'd also make sure you specifically mention benefits to any move you wanna name-drop here just so their use-case is clear)

Checks and Counters
====

**Fighting-types**: Pokemon like Passimian, Virizion, and Gallade can come in on Stunfisk-Galar relatively safely and threaten an OHKO or close to one. Even Toxicroak, despite its weakness to Earthquake, can take one hit and Swords Dance and Drain Punch to effectively one-on-one Stunfisk-Galar. (could mention Shuca Berry Toxicroak variants in specific if you wanted)

**Ground-types**: Much like Fighting-types, Ground-types can very easily shrug off Stunfisk-Galar's weak attacks and respond with heavy damage or straight KO's. Pokemon like Silvally-Ground, Mudsdale, and Golurk not only fit the description but are also often direct competition for the Ground-type slot on a team.

**Bulky Setup Sweepers**: Setup sweepers often using Substitute or Rest can often take advantage of Stunfisk-Galar's passivity and setup boosts in its face, such as Curse Snorlax, Bulk Up Scrafty, or Glastrier.

**Xatu**: (worth giving special mention to the totem bird; it keeps Stealth Rock off versus you forever and only cares about potential poisons)

Galarian Stunfisk makes use of its unique typing and amazing natural bulk to prove to be quite the specialized wall, effortlessly (too much of an upsell) taking on metagame staples such as Sylveon, Indeedee-F, and Rotom-C. Galarian Stunfisk's potent utility movepool allows it to not be as passive as it may seem, threatening all kinds of status conditions via Scald, Yawn, Thunder Wave, or Sludge Bomb, or punishing unsuspecting attackers with a Snap Trap, Foul Play, or Counter (This point relies too much on listing set details. Why would we use gunfisk over other Steel-types? It's a special wall that compresses Stealth Rock and Volt Switch blocking, making it find a home on teams that want these traits on a single pick. That perk needs to be said first and foremost. Take the two sentences below from the teambuilding section and put them here). Despite the colorful disruptive options Offensively (fluff / contradictory to the point you're trying to make; stick to its poor power), Galarian Stunfisk's raw attacking stats leave much to be desired, leaving Pokemon with reliable recovery and decent natural bulk such as Xatu, Mantine, or Vileplume able to sit in front of Galarian Stunfisk for as long as they'd like. Sludge Bomb is Galarian Stunfisk's main way of threatening anything that responds to Stealth Rock or Earthquake such as Xatu, Rotom-C, and Mantine. Sludge Bomb's chance to poison and super-effective damage against opposing Grass-types keeps Galarian Stunfisk from being entirely passive (this a longwinded way to say that Sludge Bomb allows Galarian Stunfisk to force out Grass-types, especially Rotom-C, and spread poison on walls like Xatu and Mantine. Try to condense these two sentences to one to avoid fluff). Galarian Stunfisk's final move slot is up to the user, although the utility one gets from Thunder Wave or Foul Play often outweighs the likes of other utility moves on average (Your point here contradicts the slash order; if these two are the best, why is protect first? You also didn't explain the main purposes targets of these moves like you did with Protect) Protect allows Galarian Stunfisk to scout its opponents moves while also gaining some HP with Leftovers. This can be especially useful against Choice Scarf users such as Rotom-C and Indeedee-F that often attempt to Trick Galarian Stunfisk to greatly cripple it, or as well as other Choice-locked Pokemon like Passimian which can be scouted for locking into Close Combat or U-Turn (Fluff). Pain Split is another option to somewhat extend Galarian Stunfisk's longevity, although its massive HP stat often means it doesn't gain large pools of HP from using the move.

Galarian Stunfisk offers a lot of role compression to a team; the highly coveted Steel-typing, capable of setting Stealth Rock, immune to Volt Switch, all while having great defensive stats. As previously mentioned, (fluff) Galarian Stunfisk can dig deep into its utility movepool to make the post of its great defensive profile (in exchange for what? Protect and the following slashes? It be better to end this first point with what's the general coverage or matchup you lose out on when opting for an OO move.) ; ranging from Yawn to Scald to Snap Trap. Any combination of utility moves could be made useful on any given team or in a specific matchup. (fluff; this is implied with OO, and you list these moves anyways) Stone Edge can be used to pressure opposing Flying-types such as Mantine, Xatu, and Talonflame, although you'd find the damage output quite disappointing. Scald specifically targets those opposing Ground-types such as Silvally-Ground and Golurk, doing solid damage while also having a chance to burn them. Yawn, especially in conjunction with Snap Trap, can be a nasty combo, forcing an unsuspecting Pokemon to sleep, although Yawn by itself can be great for making the opponent switch, and take Stealth Rock damage, and procure Leftovers recovery (as seen in Charmflash's game).

**Fighting-types**: Pokemon like Passimian, Virizion, and Gallade can come in on Galarian Stunfisk relatively safely and threaten an OHKO or close to one. Even Toxicroak, despite its weakness to Earthquake, can take one hit and Swords Dance and Drain Punch to effectively one-on-one Galarian Stunfisk.

**Ground-types**: Much like Fighting-types, (fluff) Ground-types can very easily shrug off Stunfisk-Galar's Galarian Stunfisk's weak attacks and respond with heavy damage or straight KO's. Pokemon like Silvally-Ground, Mudsdale, and Golurk not only fit the description, (comma) but are also often direct competition for the Ground-type slot on a team.

**Xatu**: Xatu's Magic Bounce ability and immunity to Earthquake makes it quite capable of pivoting around Galarian Stunfisk with its only fear being a mildly annoying Sludge Bomb poison.

(Good job on the CnCs. Water-types would be a good, final addition. Walls like Vaporeon and Mantine easily force it out and prevent gfisk from making progress, and Starmie and Inteal make gfisk fall short as a special wall. Something like that.)
