Stunky @ Eviolite
Ability: Aftermath
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Gunk Shot
- Temper Flare
- Sucker Punch

By utilizing its obnoxious defensive typing and further noxious movepool, Stunky can be a real vermin should one ever run afoul of it! In a tier where nearly every single Pokemon equips Eviolite, Stunky's STAB Knock Off is a terrific tool to have and a rancid one to be on the receiving end of. It deals considerable damage to the tier's prominent Psychic-types such as Girafarig and Hattrem while still being a fantastic damaging move against neutral targets like Koffing. If the threat of Knock Off wasn't enough, Gunk Shot allows Stunky to deal immediate damage to most neutral targets and especially menace grass types such as Thwackey and Servine. Temper Flare is a key piece of coverage that allows Stunky to hit one of its few sturdier checks, Tinkatuff. Lastly, Sucker Punch means that even faster revenge killers aren't safe from Stunky's fetid presence, with Drakloak in particular needing to think twice before it uses Draco Meteor or U-turn. Dangerous Pokemon like Monferno and Girafarig appreciate Stunky's ability to weaken their checks in Koffing and Tinkatuff, respectively, early-game, giving them an easier time cleaning mid- and late-game.

you're supposed to keep these around 1000 characters, so ill be cutting some fluff out. lmk if you have any questions

In a tier where nearly every single Pokemon equips Eviolite, Stunky's STAB Knock Off is a terrific tool to have, and a rancid one to be on the recieving end of. It deals considerable damage to the tier's prominent Ghost and Psychic-types such as Dusclops (gotta change this to drakloak now or just remove the ghost type part altogether) and Hattrem, while still being a fantastic damaging move into neutral targets like Koffing. Gunk Shot is a revoltingly strong move that few are comfortable switching into, due to the move's high chance to poison the opposing Pokemon (fluff). If the threat of Knock Off wasn't enough, Gunk Shot allows Stunky to deal immediate damage to most neutral targets, and especially menace grass types such as Thwackey and Servine. Temper Flare is a key piece of coverage that allows Stunky to hit one of its few sturdier checks, Tinkatuff. Lastly, Sucker Punch means that even faster revenge killers aren't safe from Stunky's fetid presence, with Drakloak in particular needing to think twice before it clicks Draco Meteor or U-turn. Above all however, one of Stunky's greatest traits is its Poison Dark typing; despite Stunky's poor defensive stats and lack of longevity, its typing in conjunction with eviolite provides it with many valuable resistances and immunities, and only one weakness to Ground (fluff, some of this is common knowledge and the rest can be inferred from what is already written). Stunky's penchant for raising a stink on the tier's defensive staples, and short-term bulk, suit it best to offensive teams that can capitalize off of Stunky's wallbreaking capabilities (fluff, next sentence basically summarizes this well enough). Dangerous Pokemon in Monferno and Girafarig appreciate Stunky's ability to weaken their checks in Koffing and Tinkatuff respectively in the early game, so that they have an easier time cleaning in the mid and late-game.

Going forward, please be sure to tag the GP Team bot when it's ready for GP; this does not appear in the GP queue otherwise. No need to do so for this one now. Thanks!

apologies, it's been a while since I've done these. In other news however, the GP check is implemented and the writeup is ready to ship.
