- Rage Powder
- Fiery Dance
- Struggle Bug / Will-O-Wisp
- Protect / Will-O-Wisp / Tailwind
[SET COMMENTS]

Set Details
========
- Volcarona has a solid place in Regulation I due to its ability to function as a support piece for its team, using redirection to protect its teammates and punish physical attackers, most notably Urshifu-R, Zamazenta-C, and Iron Hands, with Rocky Helmet and potential Flame Body burns. It can utilize Struggle Bug and other moves such as Will-O-Wisp to further support its team while outputting strong damage using its Fire-type STAB move.
- Fiery Dance is the Fire-type STAB option for Volcarona, being able to boost its damage output while dealing sizeable damage, with the damage boost allowing for it to potentially pick up a 2HKO on Calyrex-I and Rillaboom. Will-O-Wisp can be used to neuter physical threats such as Calyrex-I and Zamazenta-C without relying on Flame Body, while Tailwind can allow Volcarona to support its team through speed control. Struggle Bug allows Volcarona to hamper the opponent's special offense while dealing decent damage and breaking Focus Sashes, which is particularly problematic for opposing Calyrex-S; it also can break Lunala's Shadow Shield while crippling its offense.
- Rocky Helmet in tandem with Flame Body punishes contact moves greatly, especially those that come from Urshifu-R, while Electric Seed can be used on Miraidon teams to further bolster Volcarona's physical bulk and afford it more survivability, most importantly allowing it to live a Life Orb Flare Blitz from Koraidon.
- The first EV spread allows Volcarona to take a +1 Life Orb Calyrex-S Astral Barrage and a Choice Specs Miraidon Volt Switch the majority of the time, three Glacial Lances from Calyrex-I and a Tera Fire Flame Charge from Life Orb Koraidon while allowing Volcarona to outspeed Adamant Urshifu-R. The second EV spread allows Volcarona to take two Sword of Ruin-boosted Body Presses from Zamazenta-C, two Sucker Punches from Chien-Pao, and a +2 Astral Barrage from Calyrex-S without a boosting item.
- Tera Dragon allows Volcarona to resist Water-, Fire- and Electric-type attacks from the likes of Urshifu-R, Ogerpon-H, and Miraidon, respectively, allowing Volcarona to maintain a strong defensive presence. Tera Water provides a resistance to the aforementioned Water- and Fire-type attacks while crucially maintaining a resistance to Glacial Lance from Calyrex-I after Terastallizing.

Teambuilding
=========
- Ogerpon-C is very problematic for Volcarona, as it is able to threaten to OHKO it with Ivy Cudgel, which also avoids Rocky Helmet and Flame Body due to it not making contact, while ignoring Rage Powder due to its Grass typing and still dealing large damage after Volcarona Terastallizes. Similarly, Miraidon can threaten Volcarona with massive damage before and after Terastallization while not being threatened by it in return.
- Foes that have powerful spread options, namely Calyrex-S and Kyogre, can also be problematic, as they can deal massive damage to Volcarona and its partner while ignoring Volcarona's redirection.
- Miraidon pairs amazingly with Volcarona, as Volcarona can protect Miraidon from powerful attacks, notably Ice Spinner from Chien-Pao and Play Rough from Zacian-C, while threatening Rillaboom, which can be problematic for Miraidon. In return, Miraidon can hit Water- and Flying-types like Urshifu-R, Kyogre, and Tornadus with massive damage from its Electric-type STAB moves.
- Calyrex-I also pairs very effectively with Volcarona, with Calyrex-I greatly appreciating redirection to allow it to safely set Trick Room and sweep; it also hits Dragon-types that can threaten Volcarona such as Miraidon and Koraidon with Glacial Lance.
- Zamazenta-C partners well with Volcarona, with Volcarona's redirection allowing Zamazenta-C to stay safe, notably from Koraidon. Zamazenta-C's Wide Guard alleviates Volcarona's weakness to spread and its Body Press threatens Ogerpon-C.
- Grimmsnarl can set up dual screens to assist Volcarona in supporting the team, while Volcarona's redirection can assist Grimmsnarl to in safely setting the screens up, and they both form a strong utility core for a team. Iron Hands threatens many common counters to Volcarona, notably Ogerpon-C and Kyogre, while Iron Hands greatly appreciates Volcarona's redirection and ability to threaten Amoonguss and Rillaboom.
- Rillaboom itself pairs well with Volcarona, with Rillaboom threatening Water-types like Urshifu-R and Kyogre, and Volcarona in return hits Amoonguss and other Grass-types that can wall Rillaboom.

Bulky Redirector (Volcarona) @ Rocky Helmet / Electric Seed
Ability: Flame Body
Level: 50
Tera Type: Dragon / Water / Grass (This is a bit too niche, only day 2d NAIC alongside Quiver Dance and had 1 Blonga placement with Glimmora.)
EVs: 252 HP / 116 Def / 4 Spa / 4 SpD / 132 Spe or 252 HP / 196 Def / 60 SpD
Modest / Bold Nature
- Rage Powder
- Fiery Dance / Flamethrower (Not a single noteworthy placement, wouldn't consider it meta)
- Struggle Bug / Will-O-Wisp (Fiery Dance & Rage Powder seem to be the only thing really mandatory based on tour statistics.)
- Protect / Will-o-Wisp / Tailwind

- Volcarona functions as a support piece for its team, using redirection to protect its teammates and punish physical attackers with Rocky Helmet and potential Flame Body burns, most notably Urshifu-R, Zamazenta-C and Iron Hands. It can utilise Struggle Bug and other supportive moves such as Will-o-Wisp to further support its team, while outputing strong damage using Fire STAB. (Try and fit in how good it actually is, i.e: Support Volcarona has a strong place in Regulation I thanks to...)
- Fiery Dance is the more common Fire STAB option for Volcarona, being able to boost its damage output whilst dealing sizeable damage, however Flamethrower can be used to deal more consistent damage, notably 2HKOing standard Calyrex-I. Will-o-Wisp can be used to neuter physical threats such as Calyrex-I or Zamazenta-C without relying on Flame Body, whilst Tailwind can allow for Volcarona to support its team through speed control. (Struggle Bug?)
- Rocky Helmet punishes contact moves greatly, notably from Urshifu-R, particularly in tandem with Flame Body, whilst Electric Seed can be used on Miraidon teams to further bolster Volcarona's physical bulk and afford it more survability.
- The first EV spread allows for Volcarona to take a +1 Life Orb Calyrex-S Astral Barrage and a Choice Specs Miraidon Volt Switch the majority of the time, whilst being able to take 3 Glacial Lances from Calyrex-I and a Tera Fire Flame Charge from Life Orb Koraidon, whilst allowing Volcarona to outspeed Adamant Urshifu-R. The second EV spread allows Volcarona to take 2 Sword of Ruin boosted Body Presses from Zamazenta-C and 2 Sucker Punches from Chien-Pao, and a +2 Astral Barrage from Calyrex-S without a boosting item.
- Dragon allows Volcarona to resist Water-, Fire- and Electric-Type attacks from the likes of Urshifu-R, Ogerpon-H and Miraidon respectively, allowing Volcarona to maintain a strong defensive presence. Grass similarly provides resistances to Water- and Electric-Type moves, whilst having the added benefit of an immunity to Spore and Rage Powder from the likes of Amoonguss and Brute Bonnet. Water Tera provides a resistance to the aforementioned Water- and Fire-Type attacks, whilst crucially maintaining a resistance to Glacial Lance from Calyrex-I after Tera.

Teambuilding
=========
- Ogerpon-C is very problematic for Volcarona, being able to threaten to OHKO it with Ivy Cudgel, which also avoids Rocky Helmet and Flame Body due to being non-contact, whilst ignoring Rage Powder due to its Grass typing, whilst still dealing large damage after Volcarona Teras. Similarly, Miraidon can threaten Volcarona with massive damage before and after Tera, whilst not being threatened by it in return.
- Foes that have powerful spread options can also be problematic, namely Calyrex-S and Kyogre, as they can deal massive damage to Volcarona and their partner whilst ignoring Volcarona's redirection.
- Miraidon pairs amazingly with Volcarona, as Volcarona can protect Miraidon from powerful attacks, notably from Chien-Pao and Zamazenta, whilst threatening Rillaboom which can be problematic for Miraidon, and in turn Miraidon can hit Water- and Flying-Types (examples?) with massive damage. Calyrex-I also pairs very strongly with Volcarona, with Calyrex-I greatly appreciating redirection to allow it to safely set Trick Room and sweep, and Calyrex-I hits Dragon-Types such as Miraidon and Koraidon that can threaten Volcarona. Zamazenta-C partners well with Volcarona, with Volcarona redirection allowing Zamazenta-C to stay safe, and Zamazenta-C's Wide Guard alleviating Volcarona's weakness to spread moves. (Maybe note that Zamazenta-C also beats Ogerpon-C)
- Grimmsnarl can use screens to assist Volcarona to support the team, while Volcarona's redirection can assist Grimmsnarl to safely set the screens, and they both form a strong utility core for a team. Iron Hands threatens many common counters for Volcarona, notably Ogerpon-C and Kyogre, whilst Iron Hands greatly appreciates Volcarona's redirection and ability to threaten Amoonguss and Rillaboom. (For QC - unsure if i need to mention more non restricted pairs, and if so what to mention due to it having many other partners).

(I think these should be split into 2 sentences, a bit of a mouthful. Zacian is also better in place of Zamazenta. The Pokemon is more niche but gives the reader more Pokemon Volcarona walls and its a far bigger threat to Miraidon than Zamazenta. As for Kyogre, you brought it up as an issue for Volcarona, it feels right to mention it here.) Calyrex-I also pairs very strongly with Volcarona, with Calyrex-I greatly appreciating redirection to allow it to safely set Trick Room and sweep, and Calyrex-I hits Dragon-Types such as Miraidon and Koraidon that can threaten Volcarona. - Fiery Dance is the Fire STAB option for Volcarona, being able to boost its damage output whilst dealing sizeable damage. Would be worth demonstrating how helpful the stat boost from Fiery Dance is with a damage calc here Will-O-Wisp can be used to neuter physical threats such as Calyrex-I or Zamazenta-C without relying on Flame Body, whilst Tailwind can allow for Volcarona to support its team through speed control. Struggle Bug allows Volcarona to hamper the opponent's special offense, whilst dealing decent damage and breaking Focus Sashes, which is particularly problematic for opposing Calyrex-S. Could mention weakening Lunala's offense too while breaking Shadow Shield
- Rocky Helmet punishes contact moves greatly, notably from Urshifu-R, particularly in tandem with Flame Body, whilst Electric Seed can be used on Miraidon teams to further bolster Volcarona's physical bulk and afford it more survability, most importantly allowing it to survive a Life Orb Flare Blitz from Koraidon.

Similarly, Miraidon can threaten Volcarona with massive damage before and after Tera, whilst not being threatened by it in return. This is a GP thing but you use "whilst" a lot so it would be ideal if you could change this up a bit before they complete their check
- Foes that have powerful spread options can also be problematic, namely Calyrex-S and Kyogre, as they can deal massive damage to Volcarona and their partner whilst ignoring Volcarona's redirection.

Mentioning another non-restricted offensive partner which Volcarona can support with its typing as well as its moves would be good like Rillaboom
