STWall Immunity

Hi guys, here I introduce you a team which provides me great satisfaction thanks to its combos and playstyle. In order to use this team properly, prediction plays a major key role, that's why I'd like to see it in the hands of a more prepared trainer than me. What I ask is to RateMyTeam and help me improving its (possible) potential. I've been trying it on PS! for three or four days, and I win more then I lose (but still lose).

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Trait: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 48 Def / 208 SDef
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spd
- Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed
- Power Whip
- Gyro Ball

Here we have the lead one. Though slow as hell, I find him a good lead because it's very easy to predict which move will the opponent use against him, and then decide whether set up rocks, seeds, attack or send in Heatran or Jelli/Gengar. Since this team is full of defense, status inducers and so on, I preferred to give him his two viable attacks instead of TWave or Protect. Since those seeds let me set up really good combos (you'll see them later), I chose to give him Leftovers other than the Helmet, to keep him alive as much as possible for future turns.

Jellicent @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 36 Def / 220 SDef
Calm Nature
- Scald
- Recover
- Will-O-Wisp
- Ice Beam

Jellicent works as my personal anti-spinner, anti-normal, anti-fighting, anti-water, anti-EVERYTHING. Burning enemies clearly helps him living some longer, but I use him mainly for wall/stall-ing and slowly let them burn (obviously with proper switching in/out). I mustn't explain the first three moves, so I go for the Ice Beam: I needed an Ice attack XD

Heatran @ Leftovers
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SDef
Calm Nature
- Lava Plume
- Protect
- Roar
- Will-O-Wisp

Heatran can be soooo annoying! If you're not trying to kill some fireweak pokémon (which I frequently have to) you can always go for Will-O-Wisp, Protect and then Roar them away. He creates a perfect synergy with Ferrothorn and Gliscor, protecting the former from fire, the latter from ice and being defended by the former from water and by the latter from fighting and earth (Gengar is also a good switch in in this case). With Gliscor I LOVE doing the burn-protect-roar all the opponent's team and then stall them with Gliscor 'til their death. Burning them all is obviously helpful for later stalling.

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Trait: Poison Heal
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 40 Def / 216 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Toxic
- Substitute
- Protect

My favorite pokémon at all. If it was a little faster, it would be quite invincible, falling only for phazers or bandedhyperstrongcritical Water Jet or Ice Shard (and yes, maybe special sweepers XD). His set is nothing new, but it's efficient as it is, though suffering the 4-slot syndrome. He works perfectly with Heatran's and Jellicent's Will-O-Wisp or with Ferrothorn's seeds (you can take advantage of them in order to attack or poison non-ice/water/strongspecial attacks equipped foes without the substitute, and find yourself with little less HPs than before, and seeing them dying under leech/toxic combination). With Seeds sapping the foe, Gliscor recovers the whole life needed for the substitute, which lets you to put them up as long as you want. He's well protected from special attacks though, as you see my team have good special walls and immunities.

Gengar @ Black Sludge
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Disable
- Substitute
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball

That's another one who works well with the seeds, protecting himself with the substitute and then disable, recovering the whole life. His three+toxic immunity works well with other pokes weaknesses or threats, and presenting a really high-speed, he can outpace lots of them and annoy or sweep. As I said before he also helps preventing spinners and crippling opponent's anti-spinners.

Starmie @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 248 HP / 32 Def / 4 SAtk / 224 Spd
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Rapid Spin
- Psyshock
- Thunderbolt
- Recover

As I frequently need to switch pokes in and out, I can't afford to let my field covered by hazards, that's why here I have my bulky Starmie, which helps with that and helps sweeping a little. Since I have two Will-O-Wispers, one Scalder and a Lava Plumer, I preferred to give him another attack together with Psyshock, and that is Thunderbolt, because I needed something to deal with water, since Ferrothorn's Power Whip isn't so trustworthy in terms of accuracy. To keep him alive, I really need that Recover.

This team finds its major problem in:

- Lack of powerful physical attackers, but I don't really suffer their absence. Only Blissey/Chansey or cleric Celebi usually create some problem. Also Hyration Tank Vaporeon is able to wall me the whole day, under the rain.
- Lack of priority moves, which is a real problem against focus sash shell smash Cloyster or weakened Jolteon, which is one of the most threatening pokémon to my entire team, with its speed and hp ice.
- Lack of strong Ice attacks for dragons, even if I haven't found many problems against them.
- Lack of a cleric to support the team, but also with this I don't feel much pain.
- Lack of a Taunter, which could help me preventing foe's boosting, which proved to be kinda dangerous to my stall.

The rest is only a matter of prediction and in-action tactic!

So, please rate and help me trying to improve the efficacy of this team :) I will be very grateful.

See Ya!
