Hey guys. This is my first ever post on forums. I've been using this team on Nat Dex for a while now and was wondering if there are any community fixes that could be made to it. Thanks for any and all help!
Hercules (Heracross-Mega) (M) @ Heracronite
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Substitute
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Rock Blast
This is my wallbreaker, Heracross's ridiculous base attack plus swords dance and the addition of sub means that if you properly switch in on a key target you can guarantee at least one fainted pokemon. Close Combat and Rock blast score pretty much everyone minus Aegislash, but we'll get there in a second. Overall, it's great against Chansey unboosted, and Toxapex and Ferrothorn when boosted. It's a great addition to the team and can be especially deadly late game.
King of the Sky (Thundurus) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunder Wave
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Dark Pulse
Thundurus serves an important role in spreading Paralysis with its prankster thunder wave. As well as being able to deal a good amount of damage against most targets thanks to life orb powered thunderbolt, as well as HP ice and Dark Pulse for Coverage. It's a fairly simple role but it's crucial for it to spread paralysis in order for Heracross to outspeed opponents if need be.
Krakatoa (Heatran) @ Air Balloon
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Magma Storm
- Earth Power
- Flash Cannon
- Stealth Rock
This is the supposed Aegislash counter for when he appears in games. The ability to chunk Aegislash as well as fairy types with its stab flash cannon makes it good at its job. Countering Heracross counters.
Cheap Trick (Chansey) (F) @ Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Seismic Toss
- Toxic
- Heal Bell
- Soft-Boiled
Of course, Heatran can't handle every threat out there. Pokemon like Ash-Greninja can still give my team trouble since Ash-Greninja is immune to Thundurus Thunder Wave (Dark types are immune to prankster moves, of course, I'm sure you already knew that). That's where Chansey steps in, it's able to handle all of the special attackers that my other pokemon can't. Heal Bell to stop status on my pokemon and prevent burn on Heracross, the rest is self-explanatory.
Ebisu (Jellicent) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hex
- Strength Sap
- Scald
- Taunt
This pokemon is here for the physical attackers that threaten the team like Dracovish, who can be countered with it's immunity to water making Fishious Rend useless. Scald and Strength Sap is there to bring physical attackers down to their knees. Taunt is for pokemon like Toxapex or Dragapult who try to come in and set up on me. Finally, Hex is a strong move one the opponent is statused and has shown to rake in a few faints.
Paper Moon King (Kartana) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Leaf Blade
- Sacred Sword
- Knock Off
- Smart Strike
Finally, it's the true sweeper of the team. When the opponent's pokemon have been stripped of their walls and other potential counters, this thing can absolutely sweep the shop. Its late game potential is, to the surprise of no one, absolutely monstrous. with paralysis spread around as well, there could potentially be no one to outspeed it. It could even not be attacked at all if your paralysis luck is good.
That's my team, as good as I can explain it. Any ideas of what to do? Thank you again for suggestions!
