[SET COMMENTS]
* Serperior has a unique presence as the intersection between stall and offense in 1v1. Leech Seed allows it to infinitely stall out any opponent that is slower than it with the combination of Substitute and Protect, while the combination of Leaf Storm and Contrary gives it an offensive tool.
* Leaf Storm boosts Serperior's Special Attack by two stages whenever used, and allows Serperior to roll over Water types such as Primarina, Ogerpon-W, and Manaphy.
* Leech Seed allows Serperior to beat most anything it can outspeed, land Leech Seed on, and take a hit from, given the opponent does not have a Sound move.
* The combination of Substitute and Protect allows Serperior to block enemy attacks, and can be used consecutively along with Leech Seed healing to stall out most slower foes. Furthermore, the combination can be used to stall out moves with 8 PP, such as Gunk Shot from Choice Band Donphan, or Choice Band Ursaluna. Finally, the combination also allows it to increase the odds of low-accuracy moves missing, such as Galarian Moltres' Hurricane, and play around stat-dropping moves such as non-Taunt Raging Bolt's Draco Meteor.
* Against Custap Berry users, it is important to be aware of when the enemy would reach 1/4 max HP and be able to activate its berry. It is important to always use Protect on the potential Custap Berry turn, or use Substitute twice before so Protect is guaranteed to activate.
* Serperior often struggles with Poison-types such as Sneasler, Pecharunt and Iron Moth, as well as Sound move users such as Volcarona and Hoopa-Unbound, but has great matchups into most Water and Ground types. This gives it synergy with Steel-types such as Metagross and Iron Crown, or Ground-types such as Landorus-Therian and Ursaluna.

* Serperior has a unique presence as the intersection between stall and offence in 1v1. Leech Seed allows it to infinitely stall out any opponent that is slower than it with the combination of Substitute and Protect, while the combination of Leaf Storm and Contrary give it an offensive out. here or in a usage tip specify that HP is gained by alternating sub and tect
* Leaf Storm boosts Serperior's Special Attack by two stages whenever used, and allows Serperior to roll over Water types such as Primarina, Ogerpon-W, and Manaphy, while also giving it an edge against non-Calm Mind Sylveon, by blocking Fake Tears with Contrary and out-damaging its sound moves. this is a 50/50 at best, lo / specs straight up win and non-boosting item can 50/50 with hyper beam on leech seed or hyper voice on sub / leaf storm. at best this is a usage tips bullet on how to maybe win sometimes
* Leech Seed allows Serperior to beat most anything it can outspeed, land Leech Seed on, and take a hit from, given the opponent does not have a Sound move. examples here would be really nice to have: metagross is a big one but there's honestly a lot of top mons with counterplay / that can get good rolls and KO
* The combination of Substitute and Protect allows Serperior to block enemy attacks, and can be used consecutively along with Leech Seed healing to stall out most slower foes. Further, the combination can be used to stall out moves with 8 PP, such as Gunk Shot from Choice Band Donphan, or Choice Band Ursaluna. maybe something about inaccurate attacks like hurricane or debuffs on draco meteor
* Serperior often struggles with Poison-types such as Sneasler, Pecharunt and Iron Moth, as well as Sound move users such as Volcarona and Hoopa-Unbound. Fast offensive foes such as Meowscarada and Chien-Pao also threaten it. Partners that can handle offensive threats, such as Iron Hands, Landorus-Therian and Great-Tusk can help mitigate these weaknesses. serp is a fine glue mon too: what kinds of pokemon could benefit from a serp next to them too (?), since (at least for me) it's a pokemon you're usually adding later rather than starting with

unironically I think this analysis could use a demonstration replay against something slow like gross

oh also mention how to play around potential custap (use protect right when they go under 25, may sometimes require sub sub tect)

* Serperior has a unique presence as the intersection between stall and offence (offence? offense? i think GP will say offense but i'll keep this intact just in case) in 1v1. Further Finally, the combination allows it to fish for a miss against increase the odds of low-accuracy moves missing, such as Galarian Moltres' Hurricaine, and play around stat-dropping moves such as non-Taunt Raging Bolt's Draco Meteor.
* Against Custap Berry users, it is important to be aware of when the enemy would drop below 26% health reach 1/4 max HP (sounds better to me but can be changed) and be able to activate its berry. It is important to always use Protect on the potential Custap Berry turn, or use Substitute twice before so Protect is guaranteed to activate.
