Gliscor:
I started this team out with SubToxic Gliscor, one of my favorite sets from Gen 7. The strategy is basically to poison the opposing Pokémon, stall with Substitute + Protect spam, and destroy Steel or Poison type switch ins to Toxic with STAB Earthquake.
Toxapex:
Toxapex was added to this team as a specially defensive wall, an Ogerpon-Wellspring counter, a sweep stopper with Haze, a Rain check, and a secondary Toxic spreader. It also has an added benefit of synergizing well defensively with Gliscor, taking super-effective Ice and Water attacks for it.
Corviknight:
Corviknight was added as a blanket check to all the physical attackers in the tier with Iron Defense and as a pivot with U-Turn. It can also function well as a backup sweep-stopper. I added 120 speed EVs to out speed most offensive Kingambit and 2HKO with Body Press. Tera Fighting helps even more with the Kingambit matchup, although it probably isn't the best Tera for Corviknight. (The person I was working with on this doesn't like Corviknight here.)
Blissey:
Blissey was put here as a blanket check to the special attackers in the tier with Calm Mind and to complete the SkarmBliss core I started with Corviknight. This set runs Shadow Ball + Focus Blast for near-perfect coverage and Soft-Boiled for recovery. Tera Ghost is used here to potentially catch Fighting types off guard and hit back with its enormous base 75 special attack stat.
Cinderace:
Cinderace was added so that this team isn't walled by Corviknight or any Steel type in Grassy Terrain. It works as an Aurora Veil counter, a Sticky Web counter, and a hazard remover too. With Will-O-Wisp it can (kind of) check Ogerpon too.
Gholdengo:
Gholdengo is here to beat the bulky fairies that are annoying for this team and kill Gliscor. I chose to put Air Balloon instead of Heavy-Duty Boots to better switch into threats like Great Tusk and Gliscor better. (Mainly Gliscor). Hex was added instead of Shadow Ball to try to abuse the three status spreaders on this team. Focus Blast and Tera Fighting is for the Kingambit matchup. (Nasty Plot is probably better here though).
