Rejected Suggestion: Leave up the Gen 7 ladders.

I realize it is unprecedented to leave up an older gen's ladders once the latest gen is up and running. However, the amount of animosity that a significant portion of the fanbase has toward Gen 8 is also unprecedented. Give the people what they want: both Gen 7 and Gen 8.

It is also unprecedented to have the new gen be a downgrade of the previous gen.

this is supposed to be remedied by the creation of natdex (which includes most of the mechanics of gen 7, a blend of "gen 7 and gen 8") and gen 7's ou ladder is still up
this is also not the place to suggest ladder formats
