So far I've been using this, and it seems I may have not planned it as well as I thought, but I need some critiquing. Made for standard 1v1.
Flygon@LifeOrb
Adamant; EV's: 252Atk / 252Spe / 4Def
-Earthquake
-Outrage
-U-Turn
-Crunch(?)
Life Orb gives him a much needed power boost, and he is already pretty fast. Outrage and Earthquake are his main STAB moves, while I have U-turn to switch out if needed. Crunch is only there until I get my hands on Stone Edge (Or would Fire Blast do better?)
Metagross@ChoiceBand
Adamant; 252 HP / 236 Atk / 12 Def / 8 Spe
-Meteor Mash
-ThunderPunch
-*ZenHeadbutt now replaced by Stealth Rock. Thanks to Stove.
-Earthquake
It's great attack coupled with Choice Band make it's damage output huge. Thunderpunch is there for type coverage against pesky water types. Earthquake is just more type coverage. I like Zen Headbutt, good physical STAB, but it seems no sets carry it, what else would go there in this case? I like Choice Band, but at times Metagross seems too slow to do things properly.
Starmie@Leftovers
Timid; 136 HP / 156 Def / 216 Spe
-Thunderbolt
-Ice Beam
-Surf
-Rapid Spin
Has been very disappointing so far, main purpose was to remove entry hazards for Typhlosion, but even then it is killed off too fast. It's type coverage moves don't help when they can't score KO's and Starmie is KO'd by the Average STAB attack. First candidate to switch out of the team.
Dusknoir@Leftovers
Impish; 252 HP / 28 Atk / 228 Def
-Shadow Sneak
-Ice Punch
-Will-O-Wisp
-Pain Split
Has been far more helpful than I had thought, crippling physical threats with will-O-Wisp and Pain Split to even the battle. Ice Punch is good type coverage for Dragon threats, flying, etc. Shadow Sneak helps for revenge kills and makes up for some of it's low speed, but it is cumbersome that it can't set up Burn or Use Pain split first turn.
Venusaur@Leftovers
Bold; 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
-Leech Seed
-Hidden Power (Water) (?)
-Sleep Powder
-Energy Ball
Proved to be very helpful as well. Sets up sleep and then proceeds to use leech seed. I was thinking of maybe replacing Leech seed with synthesis, and getting sunny day + Solarbeam. And I'll replace HP-W once I get a hold of Sludge bomb.
Typhlosion@Choice Specs
Rash; 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 HP
-Eruption
-Fire Blast
-Will-O-Wisp (?)
-Focus Blast
I'm having a difficult time putting Typhlosion in the position to sweep. I'd like him to have choice specs, but I think he might need that choice scarf to get the speed he needs to actually sweep, and it seems that entry hazards make it very difficult for him, Starmie is there to spin them away, but even then, I'd like Typhlosion to be able to attack right off the bat and not lose full HP Eruption. I know Will-O-Wisp is useless with a choice Item, but what else could go there?
I know some of it's not that great, but that's why I'm asking here for you guys to tell me what should be changed.
So far I feel my team is too predictable and it's too slow, how could this be helped without completing re-doing the team?
EDIT: Now I got it...
