Of course, i started with this baby, i just like it, and any SD team is completed without this baby!

I needed something to sweep, What´s better than venusaur? it allows me to sweep and sweep! i don´t know why when some sees venusaur on the field (?) they run away (?)

Building this i realized i needed kind of a "Second Lead" Heatran it is, it offensively useful too.

i had to put a wall/Support i thought about Bliss, but i didn´t convince me, so i chose Cresselia, massive defenses, it´s a psychic Crocune (?), and for some sinergy i added Scrafty as another sweeper but i´m not sure about all this.

This jumpluff Cr*p Is what i wasn´t sure about, i didn´t help in anything, and is more weight to lift, i thought with it´s ability it´d help, but it didn´t !

Which is why i changed it, but i´m still not sure.

Introduction

Hello, my name is Catd, i´m new here, and i hope we get along, well this is not why i´m posting, i´m posting here because i´ve been trying to build a nice SD team, which seems to be impossible for me D:

038.gif

Ninetales (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Drought
EVs: 252 HP / 200 Def / 56 SpD
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Fire Blast
-WoW
- Confuse Ray
- Solar Beam

This is my lead. Well, it´s basically defensive, it´s made to bare t-tars, swamperts, and other stuff, with WoW, i can easily make physical sweepers weaker, confuse ray helps a LOT!, specially with cloysters and politoeds, of course, i can´t face a politoed with this, just like a last resort; actually, a DDtar gives iit 0-KO but it has to set up it´s DD first, first it doesn´t kill it if i use WoW, lest´s see the calculation (?):

252 Jolly Burned Tyranitar +1 Stone Edge
vs. 252/200 Bold Ninetales : 65.7% - 77.7%
128 Relaxed Swampert Surf
vs. 252/56 Ninetales : 28% - 33.1%
252 Burned Jolly Choice Band Garchomp Earthquake
vs. 252/200 Ninetales : 70.3% - 82.9%
252 Adamant Choice Band Scizor Superpower
vs. 252/200 Bold Ninetales : 56.3% - 66.3%

Oh God you don´t know how much i love this pokemon, and i think it is hard enough to bare scizor, but it was a nice advice, i didn´t see scizor coming xD

485.gif

Heatran (M) @ Ballon
Trait: Fire Absorb
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid nature (+SpA, -Atk)
-Fire blast
-Taunt
-Stealth rock
-Earth power

As i Said, this is my "Second lead" and flash fire user; thanks to the rocks, i can set up easily, taunt for D-Dancer and any other stat up, and for sub-seeders and of course, with this, letting it easier ti strike spikers and annoyers.

The strategy is so easy, come in a posion, ground, fire move, set the rocks up, or just in case taunt, the i kill all i can, but it is quite of fragile so i have to be careful, specially with conkerduls!
but it can handle a few attacks, but i think i´m gonna need something for machamps can conkeldurs or whatever it´s name is xD

003.gif

Venusaur (M) @Leftovers
Trait: Chlorophyll
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature (+SpA, -Atk)
- Growth
- Gigadrain
- Hp ice
- Sleep powder

My core, easy strategy, sleep + growth + gigadrain = Awesome! (?) nah really it´s not big deal, it´s good, but its not good so it´s not awesome, just fine, i´m thinking about changing it to tangrowth mix, because as a sweeper, i doesn´t last that long.

473.gif

Mamoswine (M) @Life orb
Trait: Snow Cloak
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SpA)
- Ice Shard
- Earthquake
- Icicle Crash
- Stone Edge

This is my revengekiller, it´s a surprise in SD teams nowadays with so much things with abilities to hit.
i´m feeling like this is the one who is turning into a sweeper, yeah, ice shard for Dragons specially Chomp, and for revengekilling, EQ, and stone edge for birdies!

488.gif

Cresselia (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
Evs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
-Reflect
-Ice Beam
-Thunder wave
-Moon light

I needed something to resist and annoy a little bit, cresselia is great, specially when it can take hard attacks and survive, nice, so i don´t have much to say. i mean, it can resist a crunch from Choice bander t-tar, moon light takes advantage of the sun, which makes it a great support and if my opponent is not focused i can even sweep! (?)

560.gif

Scrafty (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Shed skin
Evs: 252 HP / 252 Att / 4 Spe
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SpA)
-Bulk up
-Hi jump kick
-Crunch
-Toxic

I´m not sure if to put it ice punch besides Toxic, or avalanche, and i wanted to make it D-Dancer, but it works well with cresselia.

Synergy!

Heatran takes fire moves aimed at venusaur and mamo wine, mamoswine takes the flying moves as heatran, cresselia takes powerful moves, it won´t affect it a lot, scrafty receives psychic attacks, and cresselia receives fighting attacks aimed at heatran and scrafty and ground attacks.

Bye .-.

DDTar using Stone Edge does anywhere between 86-100+% to Ninetales with +0 Atk. With +1 Attack and Speed, Rock Slide does 97-100+ and Stone Edge does 130%+

Not much wrong with Heatran, just make sure he doesn't get hit with an SR, as I believe that pops Balloons.

Venusaur can be taken out With a Bug Bite followed by a Bullet Punch from +0 Scizor.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that Mamoswine can be brought down by a Bullet Punch from +0 Scizor, also.

Cressilia can be shut out with a Bug Bite from Scizor.

Scrafty can be taken out by either a Superpower from Scizor, or Scizor can hurt it and let something else with higher speed come in and take it out.

Basically, your whole team is a giant piece of Scizor bait. I'm not exactly GOOD at rating teams (this being my first one), so you don't have to take my advice if you don't feel you need to. I just felt like pointing it out.

Also, I believe you are violating Rule 3 of the RMT:

3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

Again, I'm not a mod, I'd just like to help you and point it out before it gets locked down for lack of description.

First, you spelled beginner wrong. That's me being a grammar nazi, sorry.

Not much wrong with Heatran, just make sure he doesn't get hit with an SR, as I believe that pops Balloons.
It doesn't, actually.

I would change Mamoswine's ability to Thick Fat. This is a Drought team, so there's a good chance hail won't be up.

On Scrafty, I would change Toxic to Ice Punch. This way, he can take down dragons and Gliscor without having to switch to Mamoswine. Also, in my experience, Hi Jump Kick's possible recoil looks terrible compared to the hp gain from Drain Punch.
