Sunny Day team rate

I don't see many decent sunny day teams anymore!

I guess you could call this my first competitive team..
Sunny Day team

Crobat- Heat Rock
Inner Focus
Evs:4HP/252Attack/252Speed
Jolly
-U-Turn
-Sunny Day
-Hypnosis
-Aerial Ace
Crobat outspeeds most leads and is a great way to set up Sunny Day. I usually get sunny day set up unless Hypnosis misses.

Heatran- Choice Specs
Flash Fire
Evs: 4HP/252 Special Attack/252 Speed
Modest
-Fire Blast
-Hidden Power (electric)
-Dragon Pulse
-Earth Power
Very powerful with Sunny Day set up, few good switches to counter.

Infernape- Life Orb
Blaze
4HP/68 Attack/252 Speed/184 Special attack
Niave
-Overheat
-Close Combat
-Hidden Power (ice)
-Nasty Plot
Excellent type coverage and resists ice moves.

Exeggutor- Power Herb
Chlorophyll
84 HP/64 defense/212 Special Attack/ 144 Speed
Timid
-Synthesis
-Solarbeam
-Sunny Day
-Hidden Power (electric)
Bulky enough to effectively use Synthesis(?) this guy works to set up a second sunny day and hit some tanks hard.

Salamence- Choice Scarf
Intimidate
252Attack/136 Speed/ 120 Special Attack
Naughty
-Fire Blast
-Dragon Rush
-Earthquake
-Hidden Power (electric)
Has great type coverage and resists ground/water attacks which Heatran and Infernape are weak to.

Jirachi- Leftovers
Serene Grace
240HP/172Defense/96Special Defense
Bold
-Wish
-Reflect
-Stealth Rocks
-Thunderbolt
Sets up Stealth Rock and Reflect and would work well as a healer(?).

The moveset for Exeggutor and even the existence of Jirachi puzzle me (and EVs I could ALWAYS use help on). Any advice on anything here would be great.

i believe dragon rush has 75% accuracy right? this may cause his downfall when you miss, and you will miss sometimes. use dragon claw instead, for the accuracy.

you may not want to use jirachi. i say this mainly because of his weakness to fire. with sunny day up, opponents will definitely try to abuse is weakness. since you dont really have a strong wall (without jirachi) i recommend using blissey. even though she cant use reflect or wish, she can set up stealth rock. if you do choose to use blissey, i recommend using a stalling set.

Blissey @ leftovers
Bold
Natural Cure
148 HP / 252 Def / 108 SpA

-Ice Beam / Stealth Rock
-Seismic Toss
-Toxic
-Softboiled

(ditch the SpA EVs if you use stealth rock)

I would use this toxic set because your team doesnt really have any status inducers except for crobat's hypnosis.

if you do keep jirachi:
wish wont really help out anyone except for jirachi. i say this because none of you other pokemon can really take a hit. if you do keep him, just give him 252 HP EVs (take from SpD) and give him 101 HP subs instead.

That would work well, considering the rest of the team Pokemon don't have very noteworthy HP base stats.

Toxic make a whole lot of sense, but should I have stealth rock put up somewhere to remove the ever-present flying element?

Bolded Changes

Salamence- Life Orb
Intimidate
120Attack/136 Speed/ 252 Special Attack
Rash- so you get most out of Fire Blast
-Fire Blast
-Dragon claw/ Roost
-Earthquake
-Draco Meteor

Dragon claw is much more reliable than Dragon rush and Draco Meteor is a better option over any hidden power and it does more damage even is not super effective. Life Orb is a better option over choice scarf as the extra power is needed.

I would remove Power Herb from Exeggutor. Hopefully, you're using Solarbeam under Sunny Day, so it wouldn't have a charge up time anyway.

If you do ditch Jirachi, Exeggutor can also wish, though I personally wouldn't use one of his moveslots for it. I'm also curious as to why you have so many HP Electrics. Are you that afraid of Gyarados or something? On Exeggutor, I'd probably run HP Ice with Solarbeam, though that's still walled by steels and fires. Running HP Fire would also be nice, but walled by Dragons and Fires, too. I'd also run explosion instead of synthesis, but I'm not sure if that'd be better.

Okay, thanks, I'd rather not breed for a decent hidden power anyway.

The Power Herb is there because people tend to switch in Tyranitar and push out sunny day. Not wanting to miss a good chance to take out the major annoyance against the team, I decided it would be a good idea. The herb will only be used when sunny day is down.

I think I'll just forgo wish.

I would consider replacing Crobat with Bronzong tbh. Mamoswine can cause some serious problems to your team, and Bronzong is a good choice here, being able to sleep, set up SR, and even set up Sunny Day for you, and it's resistances could be very useful. If you don't want Bronzong + Jirachi in the team, I would replace Jirachi for Vaporeon, being able to WishPass and counter the Gyarados that will cause problems.

I would run Timid SpecsTran, to outspeed other Heatrans and such. To be honest, you should just go with the Standard all out Infernape, having Grass Knot will help you out with those Bulky Waters, which are a 2HKO iirc. I don't like Salamence, if you want mixed attacking, MixMence is the way to go. You have problems with Physical pokemon, but you have a Salamence and Bronzong, you can play around them, otherwise Gliscor should help you with the problem. I'll give you the Salamence and Infernape Movesets.

Infernape @ Life Orb / Expert Belt
Trait: Blaze
EVs: 24 Atk / 252 SpA / 232 Spe
Nature: Naive

Salamence @ Life Orb
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 116 Atk / 216 SpAtk / 176 Speed
Nature: Mild
- Draco Meteor

I was going to point out the speed change in the lead, but the defense makes a lot more sense...

I'll get to work on the changes and the new lead
