Heres a cool team ive been playing with for a while,I always wanted to try out sunny day in UU myself but thats not really why i made this team.Its because of one forgotten wolf called Ninetales.

Back in DPPt it wasnt all that good,It has a unique albeit shallow movepool.Nasty plot and energy ball were the main upgrades for ninetails in DP and hasnt changed much in Pt.Then HGSS came along And gave ninetales some new toys to play with,The most notable ones are pain spilt(which grants ninetails some recovery) and power swap(ill explain latter).So i decided to try out ninetales on a Sunny day team to see if power swap ninetails was really an improvment.

If Ambipom is used well as a rain dance lead,why not as a Sunny day lead? This Ambipom is designed to set up the sun as soon as possible while stopping other leads from setting up entry hazards or crippling ambipom.It fake outs for decent damage then sets up the sun,If it happens to attempt to cripple ambipom,It can taunt the foe then U-turn out.Or it can taunt a foe attempting of laying entry hazards like stealth rocks or spikes(With the departure of Roserade I dont see toxic spikes as much) then U-turn out.The only problem that this ambipom faces is fast taunt leads like opposing Ambipom.

If Ambipoms gone and theres nothing to keep the sun shining futher then Uxies here for back-up.This thing is Bulky Enough to set up Sunny day without dieing(Unlike ambipom)so i felt like Uxie deserves a spot in the team as a secondary sunny day user and Stealth rocker.It sets up some rocks then it sets up sunny day(its almost doing the same thing as Ambipom)If Uxie senses a taunt user like ambipom then it attacks with Zen Headbutt or U-turns Out to a sweeper who can wipe it out.

Hitmontop is here for a good reason:Spinning those pesky rocks,And killing Dark types who can destroy this team(Houndoom in pacticular).Now i may not need a rapid spinner at first glance because I already have Ambipom to stop those entry hazards,However later in the game where Ambipom may be down.Hitmontop spins away those entry hazards that would show up mid-game.If a spin-blocker comes by i can foresight then spin with no worries of ghosts blocking rapid spin.Once it has done its job of rapid spinning,It can attack with STAB Close Combat or hit a flying type with Stone edge

Moltres@Life orb

In the Sun,Moltres is a deadly sweeper.With STAB Sunny boosted Fire blast ready to toast things up,And Life orb not much can come in on moltres's Fire Blast(Except Perhaps Chansey Or Milotic and Milo has a hard time taking Solarbeams anyway).Moltres is mostly a "Secondary Fire type" If Ninetails die .With rapid spin support waiting in the wings,Moltres doesnt really need to worry about losing 50% HP so it can restore it with roost so then it can get crippled to hinder it.

Mixed sweeping Tangrowth is an excellnt stall breaker thanks to good attacking stats,Its ability which allows it to reach 420 Speed,And its physical bulk.Tangrowth can come in on a resisted physical attack and start sweeping.If the foe is troublesome it can cripple it with sleep powder Then batter it with STAB power whip.Since its insanly fast only choice scarf fire types can revenge kill this thing and even modest scarf base 90s cant outspeed this thing so modest scarf moltres doesnt have a chance,Tangrowth can cripple moltres with sleep powder then switch to a sweeper who can threaten it.For this reason Tangrowth is an important member of the team.

Here we have the star of the show,This Ninetales is all about battering pokemon with STAB overheat without switching out.So heres the concept:Lets say Ninetales comes in on a bug/grass type.Then a Special water type comes in on ninetails.The obvious move here is to solarbeam,But first in order to continue ninetales sweep,we have to recharge its special attack Right? Ninetales then power Swaps the stat drop, recharging Ninetales special attack in the process,And weakening the special attacker.It can then use overheat to its fullest potential.and this is what this ninetales is designed to do.This combined with the sun and life orb(and flash fire if it happens to come on a fire attack)Makes ninetails a deadly special force.

Altaria:Probably the biggest threat of my team.It can survive a Hidden power rock from ninetales.First i cripple it with tangrowth(if it didnt safeguard)Then switch to Hitmontop and slowly batter it with stone edge,hopefully getting a crit in the process.

Ambipom:If it wins the speed-tie i switch to hitmontop as it u-turns to a foe then switch out to uxie so i can set up sun or lay those rocks,If ambipom doesnt pack taunt im safe to set up the sun with ambipom assuming it wins the second speed-tie.

Run Morning Sun over Roost for Moltres to recover 66% of its HP while under Sun. I would run HP Ice over Air Slash to cover Altaria, since Fighters can be handled by Uxie's Zen Headbutt. You'll leave yourself weaker to Ludicolo, but he's not resisting Fire attacks anyway.
 
Since most of the team is special, I would suggest a mixed Arcanine instead of Ninetales or Moltres. Well it's actually a wall breaker.

- Fire blast
- Extreme speed
- Dragon Pulse
- Flare Blitz

--> Fire blast is a sure 2HKO on registeel and in sunlight it is really devastating.

If you do need a flyer you could opt for altaria, he can also learn sunny day and even perish song and heal bell, for more team support.
