I made this team because I wanted to use a black Rayquaza since I thought they looked cool c:. I started playing and suprisingly did well, however after about a week I started facing harder teams, so I came here to improve. The names are from Dangan Ronpa except the last one.
Enoshima (Rayquaza) @ Life Orb
Ability: Air Lock
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Lonely Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Overheat
- Outrage
- Earthquake
This Pokemon was the whole point of making the team. However, it doesn't always seem to keep up with the rest of the team, so I wouldn't mind replacing it if there is a better Pokemon. This is a classic Dragon Dance set, with Outrage and Earthquake as the coverage moves. I put Overheat over V-Create because it is only there to deal with Pokemon that die from an Overheat or a V-Create, and Overheat doesn't have the punishing drawbacks of V-Create.
Nageki (Arceus) @ Silk Scarf
Ability: Multitype
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Extreme Speed
- Recover
- Swords Dance
- Shadow Force
I had used a similar set in BW Ubers, and tried it again. This set doesn't need that much explanation, it sets up and then attacks with Extreme Speed. Shadow Force is there for Ghost types, and Recover for when I need to restore health. I am considering switching out Shadow Force for Shadow Claw due to the charging, but I would like to know what readers suggest.
Monobear (Mewtwo) @ Mewtwonite Y
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psystrike
- Taunt
- Ice Beam
- Aura Sphere
Mewtwo is my wallbreaker. It can work well against anything it outspeeds, which is most of the metagame. I feel it is better than Mewtwo-Mega X as it is a mixed attacker with it's signature move Psystrike. It has Taunt to stop opposing walls and set up Pokemon, then attacks with STAB Psystrike. Ice beam is there for the many Dragon types of the tier and Aura Sphere for Dark and Steel-Types.
Fujisaki (Genesect) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Download
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- U-turn
- Ice Beam
- Bug Buzz
- Flamethrower
Genesect hits hard and fast using Download. If the matchup becomes unfavorable or I get an attack boost, I can U-Turn out. It can be used against Pokemon of almost every type, except fire. It's coverage can batter switch ins with the proper prediction. Otherwise, it hits hard with it's two coverage moves and Bug Buzz is there for some STAB.
Ludenberg (Deoxys-Speed) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Magic Coat
- Taunt
- Knock Off
Deo-Speed is my lead for all situations. It can Magic Coat the other lead, and Taunt Pokemon that try to setup on it. It then sets up Rocks and attacks with Knock Off. This is pretty much a suicide lead but the sash is there to make sure it can get off a Knock Off and Stealth Rocks set up.
gangsta rap (Forretress) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Rapid Spin
- Gyro Ball
- Spikes
- Toxic Spikes
Gangsta rap is a Pokemon I use on over half of my OU and Uber teams. It spins hazards away, and then proceeds to set up hazards of it's own. Forretress always manages to get something done because of Sturdy. It hard counters Xerneas by shrugging off it's attacks and then going in for the guaranteed OHKO (after Geomancy) with Gyro Ball. It also counters Kanghashan because it takes double Rocky Helmet damage after each attack.
Thanks for reading and any and all suggestions are welcome :)
