XY Ubers Super High School Level Ubers

I made this team because I wanted to use a black Rayquaza since I thought they looked cool c:. I started playing and suprisingly did well, however after about a week I started facing harder teams, so I came here to improve. The names are from Dangan Ronpa except the last one.

Enoshima (Rayquaza) @ Life Orb
Ability: Air Lock
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Lonely Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Overheat
- Outrage
- Earthquake

This Pokemon was the whole point of making the team. However, it doesn't always seem to keep up with the rest of the team, so I wouldn't mind replacing it if there is a better Pokemon. This is a classic Dragon Dance set, with Outrage and Earthquake as the coverage moves. I put Overheat over V-Create because it is only there to deal with Pokemon that die from an Overheat or a V-Create, and Overheat doesn't have the punishing drawbacks of V-Create.

Nageki (Arceus) @ Silk Scarf
Ability: Multitype
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Extreme Speed
- Recover
- Swords Dance
- Shadow Force

I had used a similar set in BW Ubers, and tried it again. This set doesn't need that much explanation, it sets up and then attacks with Extreme Speed. Shadow Force is there for Ghost types, and Recover for when I need to restore health. I am considering switching out Shadow Force for Shadow Claw due to the charging, but I would like to know what readers suggest.

Monobear (Mewtwo) @ Mewtwonite Y
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psystrike
- Taunt
- Ice Beam
- Aura Sphere

Mewtwo is my wallbreaker. It can work well against anything it outspeeds, which is most of the metagame. I feel it is better than Mewtwo-Mega X as it is a mixed attacker with it's signature move Psystrike. It has Taunt to stop opposing walls and set up Pokemon, then attacks with STAB Psystrike. Ice beam is there for the many Dragon types of the tier and Aura Sphere for Dark and Steel-Types.

Fujisaki (Genesect) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Download
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- U-turn
- Ice Beam
- Bug Buzz
- Flamethrower

Genesect hits hard and fast using Download. If the matchup becomes unfavorable or I get an attack boost, I can U-Turn out. It can be used against Pokemon of almost every type, except fire. It's coverage can batter switch ins with the proper prediction. Otherwise, it hits hard with it's two coverage moves and Bug Buzz is there for some STAB.

Ludenberg (Deoxys-Speed) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Magic Coat
- Taunt
- Knock Off

Deo-Speed is my lead for all situations. It can Magic Coat the other lead, and Taunt Pokemon that try to setup on it. It then sets up Rocks and attacks with Knock Off. This is pretty much a suicide lead but the sash is there to make sure it can get off a Knock Off and Stealth Rocks set up.

gangsta rap (Forretress) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Rapid Spin
- Gyro Ball
- Spikes
- Toxic Spikes

Gangsta rap is a Pokemon I use on over half of my OU and Uber teams. It spins hazards away, and then proceeds to set up hazards of it's own. Forretress always manages to get something done because of Sturdy. It hard counters Xerneas by shrugging off it's attacks and then going in for the guaranteed OHKO (after Geomancy) with Gyro Ball. It also counters Kanghashan because it takes double Rocky Helmet damage after each attack.

Thanks for reading and any and all suggestions are welcome :)

Hello munchyoshi, nice hyper offense team :]

There's only one MAJOR change I'd recommend, and that would be to Remove Forretress from the team. With a Deoxys-S lead, you already have some hazards up guaranteed and, quite frankly, Hidden Power Fire Xerneas destroys this team. Like, rips it to shreds. Also, Forretress does not have any notable synergy with the rest of the team. Also, with Magic-Coat on Deoxys-S, you can keep Stealth Rocks off your side for long enough to allow Rayquaza to really do some damage. As such, I'd recommend a hard hitting mon over it, to ensure that Xerneas can't safely set up on ANYTHING on this team, and this will allow your Arceus to pick it off with Extreme Speed, and Rayquaza to back it up. Since Rayquaza, with the changes that I'll be posting later on in this RMT, will be your foremost Kyogre check, it'll be imperative to have a back up plan - so I'd replace Forretress with Choice Scarf Zekrom. This team is, like most hyper offense teams, extraordinarily weak to Zekrom - this will at least allow for some leeway in forcing at minimum a 50/50.

Zekrom @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Bolt Strike
- Volt Switch
- Outrage
- Draco Meteor

As you have Mega-Mewtwo-Y, Darkrai shouldn't be too much of an issue, so I opted for a mixed-inclined set. This will, at the minimum force speed ties with other base 90 scarfers.

As for my other changes, they're purely optimizations on sets. Here's a quick run down of them, and an exportable.

  • An optimized EV spread on Rayquaza to allow it to switch into Scarfogre Water Spout (assuming no Stealth Rocks) and V-Create over Overheat (Don't run Overheat on Rayquaza. Just don't ._.)
  • An optimized moveset/EV Spread on Arceus. It allows it to outspeed neutral nature base 90s with max speed investment, and has HP that allows it to have a chance of surviving +2 Moonblast from Xerneas. Also, Shadow Claw > Shadow Force (you can't let the opponent switch into a normal type) and Earthquake over Recover. EKiller is all about momentum - you can't lose that.
  • Fire Blast and Focus Blast over Aura Sphere and Ice Beam on Mewtwo. It allows hit to hit more things, harder, notable nabbing the OHKO on non Focus Sash Darkrai. EVs allow it to outspeed everything it needs to outspeed post-Mega Evolving.
  • A nature change on Genesect to allow it to better deal with opposing EKillers.
  • and a moveset and EV spread change on Deoxys-S, to allow it to fully utilize Magic Coat. We also give it Rocky Helmet, so it destroys a Kangaskhan anti lead :D It has just enough speed to outrun the next fastest mon, Deoxys-Attack. TIP: Use Magic Coat against other Deoxys-S leads :D

Alright thanks Aenonar , I will try out these changes. However, I am keeping Overheat as I have tested V-Create and the drawbacks suck when the only Pokemon I need to use it on die from Overheat anyways. Thanks for rating!
