There has been a higher ammount of winners than usual. However, due to general positive reception of this slate, Council has decided to let more winners go through rather than doing a tiebreak. With that out of the way...
As previously discussed, the next few weeks will be dedicated to Playtesting. A Tournament is planned for the weekend, more on that soon. Even that aside though, be sure to play against one another! This is also a good moment to theorycraft some sets and potential cores between all previous winners as well.
Joins us at the Pet Mods Showdown Server tomorrow, at 6 PM EST, for our first roomtour! Do note we may run into a few bugs - a large part of this tour is meant to be dedicated to finding out what doesn't quite work yet. We will also be testing to see if any Pokémon in particular is too strong
These are the currently known bugs:
Illusion currently does not allow you to select your team order
Epic Beam crashes the game and will be banned for the tour
TeraMax mons can indefinitely Dynamax over and over again. Wishing Stone will be banned for the tour
These are bugs that were recently fixed:
Praying Visitor's Rewind was restoring items for the whole team. This is now fixed.
Dimensional Cape was not providing Hazard immunity. This is now fixed.
Trying to give Reticannon moves on teambuilder crashes your browser. This is now fixed.
5 Big Dooms only hits once when used with Broken Hourglass. This is now fixed.
Iron Fist's Tera mechanic was not working properly. This is now fixed.
Illusion currently does not allow you to select your team order
Epic Beam crashes the game and will be banned for the tour
Sugar Bag's boost is lasting for one extra turn and will be banned for the tour
After tomorrow's tournament, I will post usage stats for both tournaments. These will likely not be a fully accurate representation of the metagame due to the low amount of teams being used in play, but should still be an interesting watch. Regardless, there's a few things we can infer about the metagame
Nothing feels particularly too broken at the moment, which is good. We have a few underpowered Pokémon, but they're more or less what we were already expecting to fall off or be rather niche (Namely, Delibird and Ditto)
Our only Normal-type so far is Ditto. It would be ideal for there to be a little more variety in this type
Although we have a lot of Bulky Pokémon, we have little in the way of actual dedicated walls. In my opinion, this is the biggest thing to take care of at the moment for the sake of diversifying the metagame a little
Set-Up Sweepers are also somewhat difficult to stop at the moment. Do with that what you will
Lastly, I believe we could diversify Speed Tiers a little bit around the 110s
With that all out of the way, we can move on!
Slate 6 is open for submissions! You have until October 11 to make you subs!

Custom: Stone Stacking - Special Ghost - 140 BP 100 Acc 5 PP - Sets Stealth Rock on the user's side. Description: Physdef that can be scary offensively at the cost of setting rocks on your own side.
Custom: Grow Bigger - Once per battle, this Pokémon can Dynamax for 1 turn. Description: Can use her ability to one-time check just about anything, and is threatening offensively with Gigaton Hammer, but has tough 4MSS due to needing WishTect for healing. Struggles to decide to invest in Speed or in HP.
| BP: 90 | Accuracy: 100 | PP: 16 | Deals double damage to Ghost-types. Description: Fast bulky guy that compresses a lot of roles with its insane movepool. It's an effective blanket check to Fire-types, some Ice-types, and notably counters Ghost-types with its signature move, Soul Wind. Icaruff can pair that amazing defensive profile with setting Rocks, Defogging, Wishpassing, or becoming a capable setup sweeper with Calm Mind sets. The low Special Attack is a roadblock to this becoming too threatening too quickly, but it does have STAB Boomburst and wild coverage to help with potential passivity issues. It's been seen on playstyles varying from stall to GTerrain offense in its home meta, so it should serve to be a versatile addition if chosen.
