BATTLE OF THE FORTNIGHT
Hi all, welcome to the CAP Battle of the Fortnight project! Reviving this project aims to create a place where people can watch battles similar to ones you'd see in our team or individual tours, plus create some fun storylines like we saw in SS, let some newer faces get a chance to shine, and have a lot of fun along the way.
At the beginning of each round, there will be a voting phase of roughly 48 hours where you can vote for three different players you would like to see battle each other. Battles can be in any CAP related tier, including past gens or OMs, and can either be a Bo1, Bo3, or Bo5- the two players voted in will decide. At the end of the voting period, whichever two players received the most votes will battle it out for all of us to enjoy. However, the next voting stage CANNOT include the 2 people who just battled -- those same 2 people cannot be voted on again until 2 weeks after. For example, if D2theW and Lasen play each other week 1, they cannot be voted on again until week 4.
Anyone is welcome to participate, although of course it'll be more enjoyable if the players we vote on are well known battlers in the community. Replays and voting history will also be recorded in this thread for posterity. That should just about sum everything up, so let's get into round 1!
