Hey everyone, we're suspecting Gholdengo!
Suspect Reasoning:
Earlier in the generation, Gholdengo was quickbanned via a council vote. Council at the time believed that it enabled hazard stacking too much, making removing hazards difficult thanks to Good as Gold stopping Defog, as well as its Ghost typing blocking Rapid Spin. This paired up with its incredible typing and threatening offensive profile made it quite overbearing to deal with in the builder. If you wanted your team to be safe against hazards, you were forced into running teams with basically only Heavy-Duty Boots as a held item or running very specific removal options such as Galarian Weezing, offensive Great Tusk, or Tidy Up Maushold. It is very easy to put Gholdengo onto a team with a god that can pass it high HP or Speed, like Eternatus, Arceus, or Zacian.
However, the initial Gholdengo ban was made solely by council with no input from the community and very little vocal concern about the Pokemon and hazard stack as a playstyle. Gholdengo was banned alongside Serperior and Spectrier, two Pokemon that heavily restricted the builder, and it was never allowed in a metagame without those two present. There are also quite a few decent checks to Gholdengo around; slower tanks like Ting-Lu, Iron Treads, and Ho-Oh are able to swap into it and threaten it out, and there's a plethora of Pokemon that threaten to outspeed and KO it, like Landorus and Urshifu-S. The community has continuously voiced that they think Gholdengo would be fine in the current meta, and that it deserves another chance, and we on the council agree.
Gholdengo is still a very strong Pokemon with negative qualities, especially in the builder. Its incredibly bulky if given a HP donation; with that incredible bulk and its great typing and access to Recover, it can be quite difficult for teams to KO. This task is made even harder with Gholdengo's naturally high Special Attack making it hard to safely switch into alongside its access to great moves like Make it Rain, Shadow Ball, and Thunderbolt. Gholdengo making hazards more prevalent is also an issue for many Pokemon in the tier that are item-locked and can't hold boots, like Zacian-C, Ogerpon-W, and the various Arceus formes--being a significant hit to their viability, albeit not affecting the entire tier. Sticky Web is also quite the controversial element in the tier right now, and Gholdengo would for sure be a greatly appreciated addition on those teams.

The instructions to participate in this retest are as follows:
- Create a new account on PS. You do not have to follow any specific naming convention, but your suspect account must have never played a game in SV Godly Gift before this suspect test went up or you will not receive valid requirements (resetting W-L does not count for this—the account you use must never have played Godly Gift before the test, full stop.)
- You can use /rank to check if your alt is allowed to get requirements. Whenever in doubt, type /rank and it will tell confirm if you are eligible or not
- At any point on your new account, use the command /linksmogon on Pokemon Showdown! You will receive instructions on what to do once you run this command
- Double check that you're listed as a voter here! If you aren't listed as a voter despite having valid reqs, please contact dhelmise, Giagantic, April or any other OM Staff member

A simple-majority of 50%+1 unrestrict votes is required to unrestrict Gholdengo in Godly Gift!
TL;DR:
- Gholdengo is permitted on the suspect Ladder
- The needed COIL value is 2800
- You can ladder on any name, as long as you have never laddered Godly Gift with it.
- You must link your suspect alt with your smogon account using /linksmogon
- You have untill <t:1758513540:R> to get reqs
