It’s been a bit since I’ve posted so I decided to show a team that I’ve had for a while. It’s my Scovillian sun team. I tried to make Scovillian good.
TMNT (Torkoal) @ Heat Rock
Ability: Drought
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 192 HP / 136 Def / 32 SpA / 148 SpD
Modest Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Rapid Spin
- Flamethrower
- Solar Beam
Torkoal is my main way for setting up the sun and hazards while also removing both when needed. With its natural bulk it should be able to survive most hits. It has solar beam mostly for coverage and it’s in the sun so why not have a one turn move.
Suicune??? (Walking Wake) @ Life Orb
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Steam
- Sunny Day
- Flamethrower
- Dragon Pulse
Walking Wake is my second Sun setter but it’s more offensive. I know manual Sun isn’t great but the extra help does make a difference. Other than that the rest of the set is pretty standard.
Habanero (Scovillain) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Chlorophyll
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Tera Blast
- Flamethrower
- Giga Drain
- Solar Beam
The main vegetable in this weird salad is my offensive pokemon. I went with an assault vest and chlorophyll set so that I can have my spd and spe boosted immediately in the sun. Plus the Tera ground helps counter all of its weaknesses.
Salt Mountain (Garganacl) @ Leftovers
Ability: Purifying Salt
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 148 HP / 24 Atk / 168 Def / 168 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Salt Cure
- Protect
- Recover
- Stealth Rock
This set is pretty standard so I don’t really have much to say. It is very annoying and I have won entire matches with just Garganacl stall. The EV spread is weird but I tried to make it bulky while still being to do some damage with its one attacking move.
Edgy Donphan (Great Tusk) @ Leftovers
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Ice
EVs: 64 HP / 148 Atk / 68 Def / 4 SpD / 224 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Bulk Up
- Close Combat
- Ice Spinner
Great Tusk is my main physical attacker. Mostly cause in the sun it gets stronger. The EV spread is weird here too but it was the same idea with Garganacl except I went more into attack. Plus Tera ice ice spinner to help with flying, grass, and ground types is nice coverage.
Steven (Metagross) @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Clear Body
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Earthquake
- Agility
- Zen Headbutt
Metagross is my wild card. With weakness policy and agility it can become a monster. Tera water helps mostly with fire types and earthquake is a good answer to fire types.
The biggest threats to my team are surprisingly Torkoal and ninetails. So any help would be great.
