SV OU Post DLC Bulky Offense

Great Tusk:

I started with Great Tusk as my primary physically defensive wall and hazard remover. This set is the standard physically defensive set with Earthquake, Knock Off, Stealth Rock, and Rapid Spin. I used Tera Steel instead of the usual Tera Water, to counter Fairy and Flying type attacks better.

Slowking-Galar:

Usually when I build a team, I start with a physically defensive wall (Great Tusk) and a specially defensive wall, Slowking Galar in this case. Slowking-Galar also provides Future Sight support for Kingambit. The set right here is an Assault Vest variant with Future Sight, Sludge Bomb, Flamethrower, Ice Beam, and Tera Grass.

Corviknight:

Corviknight is this team's secondary physical wall and sweep stopper. It uses an Iron-Defense + Body Press set that walls basically every physical attacker in the tier except for Cinderace, which is covered by Great Tusk. Corviknight has full SpDef investment so that it doesn't die to Special Attackers. (You can choose between Defog and U-Turn.)

Zapdos:

Zapdos is this team's secondary special wall and primary offensive option against Flying types. It also checks a lot of special attackers that Slowking-Galar gets beaten by. However, I have to run a Max HP, Max SpDef set with Discharge, Hurricane, U-Turn, and Roost.

Kingambit:

Kingambit was added on this team for its superb offensive and sweeping prowess. It also pairs up well with Future Sight, especially if you use Low Kick, which this set is. Sadly, I had to replace Kowtow Kleave, which makes Kingambit match up worse against Gholdengo. The Tera for this set is Tera Flying so that it can set up freely on most Great Tusk sets and sweep.

Ogerpon-Wellspring:

Ogerpon-Wellspring was put onto this team because I haven't used Ogerpon-Wellspring yet and I want to. The set I'm using is Ivy Cudgel, Horn Leech, Play Rough, and Swords Dance. Ogerpon is also this team's main counter to Water types, which none of my mons resist otherwise, and a nice physical attacker.

Thanks for posting! I'll make some suggestions to your team. wow i'm typing this on a chrombook and the sprites for the pokemon look really good :0

Big Changes:

Give :slowking-galar: an Assault Vest set. With a very strong meta, Glowking will need more Spd to take on the stronger threats. An assault vest pairs with Slowking's ability as well as allowing us to invest in phys def to become a potent mixed wall. 248 hp evs to be as bulky as possible as well as optimizing damage from Steath Rock, 108 defense evs to give some bulk on the physical side, and 152 evs and a Calm nature to hit alot of spa bulk with :assault-vest: (484 spd). Flamethrower to hit steels like :kingambit: making sure that Glowking isn't set up fodder. Psyshock to hit :clodsire: as well as other bulkies, but Sludge Bomb can be ran over it if you want a way to hit faries (you alr have Future Sight for psychic damage). Ice beam for dragons as well as suprise killing :gliscor: as our evs allow :Slowking-galar: to take an Earthquake (does like 55-66 percent) from Gliscor. Future Sight for forcing in things and good chip damage.

Slowking-Galar @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 248 HP / 108 Def / 152 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Flamethrower
- Psyshock / Sludge Bomb
- Ice Beam
- Future Sight

Swap :corviknight: for :cinderace: its so much better as hazard removal as Corv is too passive rn. Its too much of a momentum sink with its speed tier + damage output allowing many things to setup on it. Just running a standard "bulky" support set. Pyro Ball is good damage and allows Cinderace to keep some sort of damage output, U-turn to offensively pivot and get teammates in, Will-O-Wisp to cripple physical attackers like :kingambit: and Court Change for hazard removal/setting. Tera fairy is to live Sucker Punches better.

Cinderace @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Blaze
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 224 HP / 32 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Pyro Ball
- U-turn
- Will-O-Wisp
- Court Change

Small Changes:

Swap Knock-Off and Synthesis for Play Rough and Swords Dance. Use Ogerpon as a setup sweeper, its much better at that role than utility. This change helps bring more firepower to the team.

Swap Iron Head for Kowtow Cleave. It makes Sucker Punch games easier as well as its ok to be walled by :iron-valiant: because you have :slowking-galar: now. Also, run max speed (252 no nature) so you can get those Low Kicks off better vs :kingambit:.

If you want to keep as much bulk as possible, just run 8 speed evs on :great-tusk:. It outspeeds max speed :kingambit:, thats all. Also, swap the tera to water.

Thats all! Hope this helps. Go get em! :boi:
