So I'm back after months of not playing Pokemon. I've made a team focused on using offensive tanks to wall and sweep. Idk anything about the new meta or the Teal Mask mons, but that won't stop me.
The Demon (Ursaluna-Bloodmoon) @ Leftovers
Ability: Mind's Eye
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Blood Moon
- Earth Power
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
The Demon. The calm minded Ursaluna. The Ghost of the Pearl Clan. Big boi pounds with this calm mind set, straight walling Gholdengo and tearing him. He also does well against Dragapult because of his high phy.Def and his new ability, which is just scrappy on that good shi. Tera fairy also makes Valiant, Hands and Kingambit nothing. A strong build that dominates pretty relevant mons (I think? Is Gholdengo still everywhere?)
Fireman Sam (Ceruledge) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Flash Fire
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bitter Blade
- Tera Blast
- Poltergeist
- Psycho Cut
I love using AV builds. It's so fun just to stare down opponents, just walling everything and then slamming them with massive damage. Makes you feel invincible. This build is simple enough, bitter blade and poltergeist for STAB, the other 2 for coverage. Tera grass is also easy to explain. Not much too it, just a beefy boi that can 1v1 Sp.Attackers
Okidogi @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Toxic Chain
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Gunk Shot
- Drain Punch
- Knock Off
What on Gods green Earth is Okidogi his shiny is literally just Scooby Doo on steroids (Eventhough I can't use the shiny). Choice scarf is to help for its mid speed, everything else should be fair enough. The reason it's here is to deal w/prominent mons, the fairy, dark and steel types. Kingambit, Valiant, Hands, (sort of) Lilliagnt-Hisui, Ting Lu, Ninetales-Alola. Though the team itself doesn't have a big weakness to any of those types, it also has no answers to it. Poison/fighting is also just a really good offensive combo. Tbf I could just use Sneasler if I want hyper offense, but this'll do
Mighty Eagle (Corviknight) @ Leftovers
Ability: Mirror Armor
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 8 Atk / 248 Def
Impish Nature
- Defog
- Bulk Up
- Brave Bird
- Taunt
A classic Corviknight build that gives no shi bout what your opponent does. Its bulky asf, its got taunt and defog to get people stuck, Tera water for fire types, brave bird + bulk up for damage when needed. Using this beast is so fun
Cardboard (Zapdos) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Pressure
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Roost
- Thunder Wave
- Protect
I've never used this in my life, but it looks really strong. An extreme pivoter that throws paralysis and heals itself IS really good. Especially when it also has good defensive stats and monster attacking stats for the volt switch. Tera ground is for other electric types (I don't think electric resists itself?), boots for hazards ofc.
Wtf is this thing (Ogerpon-Wellspring) @ Wellspring Mask
Ability: Water Absorb
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 160 HP / 96 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Encore
- Leech Seed
- Spiky Shield
- Ivy Cudgel
No, but wtf is this thing? Whatever it is, it looks good. Yeah, it's locked to Tera water, and it's also got water absorb when it's 4x resistant anyway, and it needs the item slot to be in this form, but it's stats and moves are good. The classic leech seed stall never gets old. Even better this thing has a strong STAB move, and encore w/good speed. This thing looks like a pain to deal with if it gets going
