ZU Laddering Achievements are coming back for generation nine! This thread is split into two posts: one for fun challenges (which you’re reading now) and one for competitive challenges.

In this post, you complete fun challenges on the ZU ladder to gain points and see after several months who has been the best among players. No need to sign up, you just have to hop on the ladder and let's go! I hope you are all pretty excited about that, I'm pretty excited myself and it will be a lot of fun. Without waiting more, here are the rules to follow if you want to gain points:

Rules

Battles have to be played on the ZU ladder.
You need to win the game to validate your achievements.
The opposite player needs to have six mons in their team, five mons above level 90 and cannot forfeit or time out when they have more than two mons remaining to validate your achievements. If the achievement is marked as "No forfeit / no time out", the opposite player cannot forfeit / time out at all.
You are allowed to reach multiple achievements in a single battle
Replays have to be posted in this thread as a prove and possibily screenshots or pokepaste if required.
Please list the category your replay should be awarded. It would make our lifes easier ;3
Edit your post when a new challenge is completed. Write new posts only after an update was announced.

We will start with the list of achievements below. If new challenges are added, I will mention it in the thread. I'm also open to suggestions but please do that in private messages, we will try to keep this thread as much achievements related as possible. Have fun, I'm looking forward to seeing you all on the ladder!

Bronze Tier - 1 point each :Regirock:

Absolute Zero IQ: Win a battle after one of your Pokemon Ice-Terastallized get OHKOed.
Family Trip: Win a battle featuring two complete evolution lines of Pokemon. (ex: Raichu, Pikachu, Pichu + an other evolution line).
Generational Vaccine: Win a battle with 9 type immunities in your team.
Give me Five: Win a battle with a team composed of 5 pokemon instead of 6.
International Hub: Win a battle with a team composed of Pokemon who all have a regional variant.
Initial Strike : Win a battle where each of your Pokémon uses only moves that start with the first letter of their own name.
I lost my baggage: Win a battle composed of mons without item. Pokepaste required.
LBN apprentice: Win a battle by giving the opponent a locking item and then removing it.
Mother nature: Win a battle composed of mons with the same nature. Pokepaste required
Room mates: Win a battle using Trick Room, Magic Room and Wonder Room.
Social Distancing- Win a match using only NO contact physical moves (ex. Earthquake, Icicle Crash, Explosion...) [coutersy of czim]
Sometimes useful: Win a battle with only moves in the usually useless category in the teambuilder
Underrated but not underplayed: Win a battle composed of mons ranked in the B rank / Mid tier.
You leave me no choice: Win a battle with a team composed of six mons using a choice item. Pokepaste required. Trick/Switcheroo not allowed.

Silver Tier - 2 points each :Glastrier:

AI Bot - Win by clicking only moves that are super-effective against the target in front of you. Switch otherwise. Pokepaste required. [courtesy of Baitwiz]
Both wipeout: Win a battle where every Pokémon on both sides, including all of your own, is knocked out.
Entry hazard warrior: Win a game in ending with sticky webs, two layers of toxic spikes, three layers of spikes and stealth rocks up on the opponent's side of the field.
Future ZUBL: Win a battle in killing the six mons of the opposite team with the same pokemon. Forfeits / time out not allowed.
Kamehameha - Win a battle only using moves that have a charge or recharge turn (e.g. Hyper Beam, Meteor Beam). [courtesy of sketcchi echi]
GG noob: Win a battle 6-0. Forfeit not allowed.
Mastermind: Win a battle in switching thrice on an immunity.
No john: Win a battle with a team composed of at least five mons without switching once. Pivot moves/Eject pack not allowed.
NFE main: Win a battle composed only of second stage of evolutions.
Professional Singer: Win a battle only using sound moves.
Show your moves: Win a battle in using moves of 18 different types.
Sharpshooter: Win a battle in using only moves with maximum 90% accuracy. Accuracy boosting items, moves or abilities are banned.
True Pokemon fan: Win a battle with all your Pokémon being Pika-clone (Pikachu, Dedenne, Pachirisu, Morpeko, Plusle, Minun)
SU main: Win a battle with only mons ranked in the C rank / Low tier.
ZU amateur: Play 50 games on the ladder. Screenshot required.

Gym leader Bug : Win a battle with a team composed of six bug types. Tera is banned.
Gym leader Dragon : Win a battle with a team composed of six dragon types. Tera is banned.

Click A to win: Win a game in using only the same move (Mono-move challenge).
Give me one: Win a battle with only one pokemon in your team.
LC main: Win a battle with a team composed only of the first stage of evolutions.
Nice team: Win a battle with all your Pokémon level 69.
Pacifimmon: Win a battle in using only status moves.
Slowly but surely: Win a battle by only moving last. Switching is therefore not allowed.
Trapped in the Vortex: Win a battle in using only pivot moves (Volt Switch, U-Turn, Flip-Turn, Parting shot, Teleport).
Xayah versus Apagogie the rematch: Win a battle in killing all the opposite Pokemon with Swanna.

Good Old Time (Gen 2): Win a battle using only Pokémon ranked on gen 2 VR ZU. The gen2 VR can be found here

Absolute perfection: Win a game 6-0 with your whole team at 100% of their life and without being statused. No forfeit / timeout allowed.
A legendary tale: Win a game with the only Pokémon in your team being a legendary.
Blessed by Arceus: Win a game in only using the move metronome.
Diabolical power: Win in getting +6 in five statistics at the end of a turn.
Endless Saga: Win a battle that lasted at least 150 turns.
Eternal Trap: Win in only using trapping moves.
Six-days-war: Win a game in six turns. Forfeit and time out not allowed.
ZU main: Play 100 battles on the ladder. Screenshot required.

This post is reserved for the competitive challenges you can accomplish on the ZU ladder.

:Primeape:

Rules

1. All battles must be played on the gen9zu ladder in PS! main server.
2. Provide a proof that you completed the challenge to validate your achievement (mostly, screenshots of the rating reached/you owning the account, just like in Suspect Tests).
3. You can get several achievements from the same battle/account, and you are generally encourage to post them by batch to avoid flooding the thread if you are chaining them up. I'll react with like in your post once I've taken it into account.
4. Achievements can be submitted in PM to me if you want the account you used to remain inconspicuous; I will be posting them in the thread (giving your Smogon username) myself. Please only do it as little as possible though; it's less fun.
5. Past performances will not be counted; any submission needs to be verifiable on the server (by checking at the rank, WL and such) at the moment they are posted.
6. Naturally, don't try to cheat, i.e by submitting an achievement with an account that's not yours and yours alone. If you are caught doing so, you might get exposed and made fun of.
7. Challenges' specifics might be subject to balance changes over time (increasing or lowering their difficulties); if that happens, achievements will be adjusted when possible.

Format

Each challenge can be completed at one of two levels: "Completed" or "Supercompleted." "Completed" represents meeting the basic requirements of the challenge, while "Supercompleted" signifies an exceptional performance that goes above and beyond these requirements. In short, "Supercompleting" a challenge means you’ve exceeded the standards for basic completion, and this achievement will be recorded in a separate section. Once you complete a challenge at the regular level, you can supercomplete it at any time afterward. Posting a regular completion is not required before posting a supercompletion.

Does the NFE one refer to anything not fully evolved, anything legal in the NFE/LC tiers (which banned electabuzz and combusken iirc), or anything tagged with NFE or LC (or LC Uber) in the builder?

Asking because my first thought was the third one, which excludes pikachu for some reason which feels wrong.

Any LC or NFE Pokémon that is legal in ZU will count! (Which includes Combusken and Electabuzz that you mentioned, and Pikachu too.)

I thought the OP post was clear but it really wasn't enough to my understanding. You need to use a fresh alt for ALL the challenges.
The only difference is that you can use the same alt for the Metrics and need a separate one for each of the Fun ones. After talking to a Forum Moderator I decided to award you the completion for now since the opening post wasn't super clear, but for future ones, a fresh alt is mandatory

Spirit Achievement

ok ngl, this sucked to try and complete. the team reached a solid final form near the end, but it was really wonky to build a solid HO with Electric-types when there are a lot of good grasses and grounds + Electric is a pretty poor defensive typing. i’m very interested to see other people complete this challenge because it was super annoying to pinpoint a solid monotype since most of them lack having a solid 6 that isn’t complete shit on by an important mon in the meta and being super Tera reliant isn’t fun. Electric seemed like the most solid since webs HO helps with some of the solid scarfers like float and pass so you’re not reliant on just having a reliable defensive switch in. i think Water is the only other type i considered but decided to go this route. in the end, i had a good amount of fun with this. will be trying more challenges soon.

Childminding Achievement

this one was surprisingly way easier to complete than the monotype challenge. we have a ton of solid NFE’s that can handle the tier’s top threats. you pretty much have to use dipplin and pory since this core is so broken. the entire 6 put in work throughout this run. really fun team to play with. hazards were the main weak point here obviously but you have options to pressure the HO leads to at least mitigate them. I just figured the removal for NFE’s are so mid that I’d rather just build a solid team without it. fun challenge that isn’t too tough, I can see myself super completing at a later date
