hello guys and gals,this is yet another offensive Team.and im hoping to change my style of play. but for now,i present to you a nicely baked,fresh,OU team:

this team has led me to some great success,the team doesnt really have to worry about entry hazards much(although stealth rock is a thorn on Zapdos)the synergy each pokemon provides is great.most of my packs alot of power too(although it doesnt matter that much)

of coruse,this team has its flaws.but they all have one important role that makes up to these flaws.and thats obviously why there here in the first place.

now after the not so short intro,heres my team close up.

------

Spr_4d_385.png

Jirachi@Choice scarf
Evs:4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Nature:Jolly
-U-turn
-Thunderpunch
-Iron head
-Stealth rock

================
big props to Tab for suggesting this.

jirachi solves the problem of my gyarados and salamence weakness.and as such is certainly one of the most important members of the team,the reason why trick isnt listed here is because jirachi should keep the scarf to handle DD gyarados and DDmence.Iron head is jirachis main STAB move.Thunderpunch deals with gyarados and other bulky waters who can switch in on iron head.Like Vaporeon,and finally U-turn is there for scouting.
Synergy:Fire goes to Suicune and latias,Ground goes to latias and Zapdos.

======================
380.png

Latias@Life Orb
Evs:4 HP/252 SpAtk/252 Spd
Nature:Timid
-Draco meteor
-Thunderbolt
-Surf
-Roost
===========
Now comes the All-Out attacker.Life Orb Latias combines the Sheer force of the choice specs variants and can use Moves freely,Draco meteor is its main STAB move.Doing major damage to anything not named Bilssey or Snorlax.Thunderbolt allows it to defeat gyarados and Empoleon,it also does some good damage to vaporeon.Surf allows it To hit Scizor and Tyranitar who otherwise threatens to KO latias.i really dont see the difference between Roost and Recover on latias, Roost Allows latias to heal Life Orb Recoil.

Synergy:Ice goes to Suicune and Metagross.Dragon Goes to Metagross.
=====================
245.png

Suicune@Leftovers
Evs:252 HP/252 Def/4 Spd
Nature:Bold
-Surf
-Rest
-Sleep Talk
-Calm Mind
=======
Everyone knows how dangerous Crocune is.After a few Calm Minds,it can be a massive threat.taking pity from most special moves while recovering all status thanks to Rest.Surf is Suicunes main STAB attack which can pretty much dent anything after a few Calm Minds.Rest is suicunes only form of recovery,and can heal status that would otherwise put a major dent on suicune.Calm mind is what makes this Suicune so special.boosting its already high special defense while boosting its rather modest Sp.attack.

Synergy:Electric goes to Latias.Grass goes to Zapdos,latias and metagross,
===================
145.png

Zapdos@Leftovers
Evs:248 HP/228 Def/32 Spd
Nature:Bold
-Thunderbolt
-Heat wave
-Roost
-Roar
=====
Its quite odd to see a physicaly defensive Zapdos on an offensive Team.But its my only Lucario check.It takes physical hits pretty well.Thunderbolt is its basic STAB attack.Heat wave allows it to defeat scizor and other Steel types.roar is there to stop baton pass chains and also stops a sweep from sunch threats like SD lucario.roost is Zapdos auto recovery and is important on a zapdos like this(well every zapdos that is.....)
sorry for the rather short paragraphs on the next 3.
Bold is required for a physicaly defensive Zapdos to let zapdos takes physical hits at its fullest.

Synergy:Ice goes to Suicune and Metagross.Rock goes to Machamp and Metagross
====================
248.png

Tyranitar@Choice Band
Evs:176 HP/252 Atk/80 Spd
Nature:Adamant
-Crunch
-Pursuit
-Stone Edge
-Aqua Tail
===
This big T-rex is our check to Rotom who threatens my team.its also a nice check to many electric types like Zapdos and Jolteon.Crunch and Stone Edge takes advantage of its Dual STABs.pursuit is to catch fleeing psychics and ghost(celebi,this means you.)Aqua Tail allows it to Hit opposing Tyranitar and can also hit Heatran hard.the Evs and natures are pretty straight forward.Adamant allows tyranitar to use its attack to the fullest.the EVs are here to reflect this.

Synergy:Fighting goes to Latias.Ground goes to latias and zapdos.grass and water goes to latias and suicune(for water that is)
================

Spr_4h_068.png

Machamp@Leftovers
Ability:No Guard
Evs:252 HP/252 Atk/4 Spd
Nature:Adamant
-Stone Edge
-Dynamic punch
-Rest
-Sleep Talk
===
This machamp has been growing on me.the Synergy it provides is just right for this team.Anyway,Dynamic Punch is greatly annoying for the foe.taking a good chunk out of their HP and confusing them.Stone Edge allows it to beat gyarados,Salamence,and Zapdos.Rest is machamps only form of recovery(see suicune)it is also what makes this machamp so special.with rest it can switch in on Rotoms Will-O-Wisp and can heal it while restoring its HP.

Synergy:Psychic goes to Latias,Tyranitar and Metagross.Flying goes to Zapdos,Tyranitar, and Metagross
==========
and thats the team,sweeping,supporting...you get the idea.but first lets go down to the team building process shall we?
==========
i always wanted to use trick scarf metagross as a lead.its rarity just makes its job better too,thinking that metagross is holding a Lum berry or an Occa berry.
dpiconani376.gif

ok so we have the lead,now its time to find a pokemon that pairs well with metagross when it comes to taking attacks.Latias was a perfect pokemon for this case as its bulk combined with its sheer power and speed made it the right choice
dpiconani376.gif
dpiconani380.gif

after that i decided to add even more synergy to both metagross and latias.seeing as how Crocune rips the metagame.it was a good choice to the team.
dpiconani376.gif
dpiconani380.gif
dpiconani245.gif

i just noticed how a lucario can destroy my team with crunch and close combat.nethier of them can murder nor wall lucario.choosing between zapdos and gilscor seemed like a hard choice.but after noticing that zapdos can check gyarados and grass types,zapdos seemed the superior option
dpiconani376.gif
dpiconani380.gif
dpiconani245.gif
dpiconani145.gif

after zapdos,it gets hard.noticing that i dont have a good check to ghosts and psychics,i decided to put Tyranitar.

the team was almost finished but now i need to find a check to opposing tyranitar,bilssey and snorlax.ive always used machamp due to this.

however,after looking over Tabs suggestions with replacing jirachi with metagross to revenge kill gyarados and other threats.I decided to replace metagross with jirachi.

and thus the team was complete!

why cant i make a RMT without a threat list?

Threat list

--------------------

Defensive Threats:

Blissey: ,tyranitar and machamp can all beat blissey with stone edge/crunch,and dynamic punch respectively.
----------
Bronzong:Zapdos laughs at most of its attacks and can dent bronzing with heat wave.suicune can set up calm minds on bronzog while taking most attacks from bronzong
---------
Celebi:tyranitar can take a grass knot,and can pursuit a fleeing celebi.zapdos laugh at its attacks and can fight back with heat wave.
-------
Cresslia:Tyranitar laughs at cresslia.
--------
Dusknoir:Tyranitar also laughs at dusknoir,it will only fear the rare subpunch variant.
--------
Forrtress:Zapdos can heat wave,suicune doesn’t take much from most of its attacks,and can set up calm minds.
-------
Gliscor:Zapdos,Latias,and suicune can take it on with surf and hidden power ice respectively.
-------
Gyarados(on the defensive):Zapdos and Latias can thunderbolt.
-------
Heatran(on the defensive):suicune can set up calm minds on heatrans,and can recover status from heatran with rest.Latias can surf.machamp can dynamic punch.and tyranitar can aqua tail. torment trans are annoying through.
------
Hippodown:suicune and latias can surf.
----
Jirachi(on the defensive):Zapdos laughs at its attacks and can heat wave jirachi.
----
Rotom-A(on the defensive):annoying as it can cripple me with will-o-wisp.tyranitar is my best chance against rotom-a.latias survives a shadow ball and can do a lot of damage with draco meteor.
-----
Skaromy:ZAPDOS!ZAP!
----
Snorlax:see bilssey.machamp can dynamic punch.tyranitar can stone edge/crunch.
---
Suicune:annoying,but it greatly dislikes trick from metagross.
------
Swampert:swampy doesn’t like latias draco meteors.any swampert without roar is set up fodder for suicune.
---
Tyranitar:machamp scares off tyranitar with dynamic punch.
---
Vaporeon:vaporeon wont like a thunderbolt from zapdos or latias.
---
Zapdos:Tyranitar destroys zapdos.latias does huge amounts of damage with draco meteor.
---------------------------------------------------------
Offensive Threats:

Azelf:.tyranitar can deal with all variants.
---
Aerodactyl: suicune/latias can surf.
---
Breloom: annoying,but zapdos walls and outspeeds most variants.latias is in a similar vein.
---
Dragonite: latias outspeeds dragonite.Zapdos can hidden power ice.
---
Electrivire: latias can draco meteor,machamp can take 1 hit from it and can dent it with dynamic punch.
---
Empoleon: Zapdos can dent most empoleons with thunderbolt (assuming its not paralyzed…),latias too can thunderbolt.
---
Flygon: Annoying,it really depends on what move its locked to.if earthquake then latias,if outrage then Jirachi.zapdos is my best bet otherwise.
---
Gengar: tyranitar,if it’s a scarfgar that’s locked into thunderbolt/shadow ball.LO gengar is really annoying through.
---
Gilscor: see the defensive gilscor as its pretty much the same thing.
---
Gyarados: Zapdos has the bulk to survive most attacks from gyarados.and can KO with thunderbolt.latias is in a similar vein.
---
Heatran: tyranitar,suicune does well against heatran too.
---
Infernape: Suicune does well against nape.latias can surf.
---
Jirachi: see Defensive jirachi,Calm mind jirachs are tough through.
---
Jolteon: Tyranitar.
---
Kingdra: if its in the rain,or have achieved a dragon dance boost then its hard to stop,my best chance would be trick scarf metagross while its dragon dancing.
---
Latias: Tyranitars pursuit pretty much sums it up”you can run, but you cant hide”.
---
Lucario: Zapdos does well against it.
---
Machamp: Zapdos and latias does well,but must be careful of payback/ice punch/stone edge.
---
Metagross: Zapdos does well.
---
Magnezone: see above,machamp destroys magnezone too.
---
Mamoswine: machamp does well.Zapdos can take ice shards and can dent it with heat wave.
---
Porygon-z: most members of my team can do a lot of damage to porygon-z .
---
Rhyperior: Latias and suicune can surf.
--
Rotom-A: tyranitar does an easier job than defensive rotoms.
---
Salamence: latias can outspeed it.Zapdos takes most hits from it,and can KO with hidden power ice.
---
Scizor: Zapdos doesn’t take much from scizor and can heat wave it.suicune can use choice band scizor locked into bullet punch as set up fodder.
---
Starmie: tyranitar can take a Surf,and can KO it with pursuit/crunch.
---
Togekiss: Zapdos handles it well.
---
Tyranitar:machamp can scare it off with dynamic punch.
---
Weavile: machamp can defeat weavile.
---
Zapdos: Tyranitar laughs at it.

EDIT:currently fixing the changes so it can focus on jirachi instead of metagross.

Hey. I really like the look of this team - it reminds me quite a bit of one of my favorite teams from a while back. Currently however, there's several pretty big issues I've spotted.

Firstly: Salamence. If a DDMence comes in on you and sets up (which it does fairly easily against Suicune), you're in a lot of trouble, as you're pretty much going to have to sacrifice something and then take a good 60% or so with Metagross to take it out. Because of the way this team is built, it's going to be pretty difficult to get a really solid check in there (Scizor could be used over Tyranitar, but Blissey can be really annoying for teams like this if you can't threaten to double switch with Tyranitar). I'd suggest trying out a Scarf Jirachi instead of Metagross - if you give it U-turn/Iron Head/Ice Punch/Stealth Rock with a Jolly nature and 252 Atk/252 Spe/4 HP, you've got a fairly safe revenge killer for Mence. You could use Trick over U-turn, although I wouldn't really recommend it - you'll want to keep the Scarf until later on against most teams in case a Mence pops up.

Next, you've also got some pretty big Gyarados issues. Offensive DDGyara outspeeds and OHKOs everything on your team except Suicune after a boost, which can't really threaten Gyarados in return. Again, there's not really any easy way to solve that problem without making major changes, the best way I can see would be to put ThunderPunch onto the Scarf Jirachi I suggested for dealing with Mence - the safest move would be to use it over U-turn, although it could easily be used over Ice Punch if you don't mind needing the Iron Head flinch to beat a DDMence that isn't already weakened.

With the two main problems out of the way, there's also a minor Lucario weakness, but that's pretty simple to fix - you need to replace HP Ice with Roost, otherwise Zapdos can get worn down far too easily. HP Ice is the obvious move to replace as Zapdos cant really deal with Mence anyway, so HP Ice won't be doing much for you a lot of the time.

The final important change I'd make is to use Substitute/DynamicPunch/Payback/Stone Edge on Machamp. Losing the recovery is going to hurt a bit, but currently you're going to really struggle against a good stall team, with you relying heavily on using CBTar extremely well to deal with Blissey in particular. Substitute + 3 attacks Machamp is a great stall breaker, which also poses a huge problem for offensive teams, and with a reasonably solid defensive core, you should be able to get away with dropping the recovery.

Finally, one thing that might be worth looking into is to use a Curse Swampert over CroCune, especially if you drop RestTalk on Machamp. Swampert has a few pretty big advantages over Suicune here, mainly in that it gives you a solid Tyranitar switch to replace RestTalk Machamp, as well as a great Rotom counter without having to risk getting Tyranitar crippled by a burn. Swampert would also give you an electric immunity, which is nice for absorbing Thunder Waves, although Suicune works well enough if you'd rather keep that

Good luck!

In a metagame so centralised around Dragon types, I wouldn't recommend using Explosion on Metagross since he's your only Steel Type and therefore your only Dragon resist. So replace Explosion with Earthquake prefferably as it would hit Jirachi and other lead Metagross for SE damage.

Your team is truly weak to Dragon Dancers like Gyarados and Salamence like the above poster mentioned. They can both setup with ease against Suicune since your only attacking move is Surf and proceed to sweep your team. If, you don't want to replace a Pokemon and use Jirachi instead of Metagross, a safer option would be to slap a Choice Scarf on Latias and replace Roost with Trick to surprise Blissey on the switch. This will allow you to revenge kill all forms of Gyarados and Salamence even after a Dragon Dance. If they switch out, they will lose 25% of their HP next turn because of Stealth Rock. This change will also grant your team a revenge killer wich you lack.

Hope this helps and Good Luck with your team.

I'd go with Payback rather than Stone Edge on Machamp. Flying-types are still hurt by Dynamic Punch fairly significantly, especially with confusion. Payback gives you a better chance against Rotom, who is otherwise a much safer switch-in.

I generally find Earthquake is better than Aqua Tail on CBTar. Hippowdon seems much less common so Aqua Tail's primary target is gone, and Jirachi likes to switch in on Tyranitar rather a lot, I find. Earthquake covers everything else better than Aqua Tail.
