Swords Dance Gliscor is an incredibly potent wincon, using its incredible longevity and solid bulk to effortlessly setup on passive Pokemon such as Landorus-T, Toxapex, and Clefable. Facade provides Gliscor with an excellent alternative move to hit Ground-resistant and -immune Pokemon such as Skarmory, Zapdos, and Buzzwole, with its ample PP ensuring that it can outstall their recovery PP if necessary. Roost provides Gliscor with instant recovery, allowing it to check Pokemon like Mega Diancie and Heatran. The given EVs allow Gliscor to fulfill this purpose with Special Defense investment, with the HP maximizing its recovery from Poison Heal. Tera Fairy allows Gliscor to leverage a typing with few exploitable weaknesses, given Steel-types such as Kingambit and Gholdengo fear its Earthquake, while Tera Water improves Gliscor's matchup against Pokemon like Volcarona and Urshifu-R. However, it comes with more exploitable weaknesses, given the prominence of Tapu Koko, Rotom-W, and Ferrothorn. Gliscor fits best on balance and fat teams, which appreciate its ability to tear through opposing defensive cores while providing enough of a defensive backbone in return to facilitate this. Pokemon like Toxapex, Skarmory, and Gholdengo can exploit Gliscor's temporary checks such as Great Tusk, Skarmory, and Buzzwole, generating progress of their own.
