With Mold Breaker, Haxorus can disregard abilities such as Levitate and Sturdy, letting it beat Rotom-H, Rotom-W, and Togedemaru. Outrage is Haxorus's strongest physical STAB move, being able to hit other Dragon-types like Hydreigon, Dracovish, and opposing non-Unnerve Haxorus super effectively and even possibly OHKOing through their Haban Berry. Earthquake is a coverage move for hitting Steel-, Fire-, and Electric-types, such as Duraludon, Incineroar, Darmanitan, Cinderace, Rotom-H, Rotom-W, and Zeraora. Taunt is used to nullify status-inducing moves such as Will-O-Wisp and Toxic and to stop Pokemon such as Galarian Corsola, Mandibuzz, and Gastrodon from boosting their own defenses. Laser Focus is a more reliable way to beat Pokemon that boost their own defenses and are also able to attack like Corviknight and Gastrodon. The EVs maximize Haxorus's Attack and Speed to hit as hard as possible and to tie with other non-Choice Scarf Haxorus. Lum Berry is a useful option to help break through stall without risking a burn.

In return, Haxorus can deal with Fire-type Pokemon such as Darmanitan, Cinderace, Rotom-H, and Incineroar that threaten its partners. Haxorus is also weak to Ice-types such as Avalugg, Choice Scarf Galarian Darmanitan, and Weavile, so it's nice to have Fire-types such as Arcanine and Choice Specs Rotom-H that can deal with them. In return, Haxorus can deal with Water-types such as Rotom-W, Gastrodon, and Dracovish.

(RDS)Outrage is Haxorus's strongest physical STAB move, being able to hit other Dragon-types like Hydreigon, Dracovish, and opposing non-Unnerve Haxorus super effectively and even possibly OHKOing through their Haban Berry, (RC) such as Hydreigon, Dracovish, and opposing non-Unnerve Haxorus. Earthquake is a coverage move for hitting Steel-, Fire-, and Electric-types, such as Duraludon, Incineroar, Darmanitan, Cinderace, Rotom-H, Rotom-W, and Zeraora. Taunt is used to nullify status-inducing moves such as Will-O-Wisp and Toxic and to stop Pokemon such as Galarian Corsola, Mandibuzz, and Gastrodon from boosting their own defenses, (RC) such as Galarian Corsola, Mandibuzz, and Gastrodon. Laser Focus is a more reliable way to beat Pokemon that boost their own defenses and are also able to attack like Corviknight and Gastrodon. The EVs maximize Haxorus's Attack and Speed to hit as hard as possible and to tie with other non-Choice Scarf Haxorus. Lum Berry is a useful option to help break through stall without risking a burn.

Haxorus struggles with Fairy-types such as Sylveon, Galarian Weezing, and Gardevoir, so Steel-type Pokemon such as Durant, Choice Band Excadrill, Durant, and Aegislash, (RC) which can all take them out, (false, durant doesn't ohko galarian weezing. also unnecessary.) are good teammates. In return, Haxorus can deal with Fire-type Pokemon such as Darmanitan, Cinderace, Rotom-H, and Incineroar that threaten its partners. Haxorus is also weak to Ice-types such as Avalugg, Choice Scarf Galarian Darmanitan, Avalugg, and Weavile, so it's nice to have Fire-types such as Arcanine and Choice Specs Rotom-H and Arcanine that can deal with them. In return, Haxorus can deal with Water-types such as Rotom-W, Gastrodon, and Dracovish.
