Synchronise ability plus toxic or flame orb

so I'm new to the competitive scene, I've just been a casual player since gen 2, im interested in the ability synchronise, so if you have a pokemon with synchronise, and you put a toxic orb on it, will the opponent be poisoned also? and does it also happen with toxic spikes?

No because it needs to be done by another pokemon, not an item. In the future please put something like this in the q&a thread instead of making a thread

When a Pokémon with Synchronize is burned, paralyzed, or poisoned by another Pokémon, that Pokémon will be inflicted with the same status condition.
