Synergy shield!

Hey guys, hope yah enjoy! This team is sort of a anti-meta thing, to keep taking small shots from Pokes while damaging through U-turning and gaining advantage.

(STAB moves are in bold.

@ Choice Band
Nature: Adamant
Trait: Technician
Ev's: 248 HP, 252 Atk, 8 Def
~ Bullet Punch
~ U-Turn
~ Pursuit
~ Superpower

Scizor is starts us off, by hitting hard and providing me a strong form of STAB priority. It also becomes very important in the chain of U-Turn, by scaring out Dark, Psychic, and Grass types, either hitting them for super - high damage, or scout on the switch and yet again start the U-Turn chain. Pursuit is a little iffy for me, because usually I only U-Turn on the switch, and Superpower is for hitting things like Ferrothorn (but then again, U-turn turns this situation into a good one for me, by switching into Heatran).

Fire is resisted by Gyarados and Rotom - W, and is om - nom - nom'd by Heatran.

@ Leftovers
Nature: Modest
Trait: Levitate
Ev's: 112 HP, 252 Sp. Atk, 144 Spd
~ Hydro Pump
~ Volt Switch
~ Will-O-Wisp
~ Pain Split

Rotom - Wash brings the second part of the U-Turn (In this case, Volt Switch) chain, and exploits the weaknesses of Water and Flying types, and also manhandles Gliscor for the physical sweepers on my team, while Will-O-Wisp takes out physical threats. Pain Split is a bit unreliable, but it's all the recovery Rotom - W has, but sometimes lets it beat things that it usually wouldn't, such as special walls like Chansey and Blissey.

Grass is resisted by Heatran and Celebi.

@ Leftovers
Nature: Bold
Trait: Natural Cure
Ev's: 252 HP, 220 Def, 36 Spd
~ Giga Drain
~ U-Turn
~ Leech Seed
~ Recover

Celebi is pretty straightforward; to either set up Leech Seed and U-Turn, or to take down a threat with Giga Drain. She is also a multipurpose tool to take hits or status. It pairs well with Heatran and Gyarados, giving Heatran a free Sub or giving Gyarados a free Dragon Dance usually.

Celebi's ridiculous amount of weaknesses are all resisted by Heatran. To be more specific, the most of important ones, Fire is resisted (and immune) by Gyarados, Rotom - W, and Heatran, and Ice is resisted by Rotom -W, Scizor, and Heatran.

472000.gif
@ Toxic Orb
Nature: Impish
Trait: Poison Heal
Ev's: 248 HP, 228 Def, 32 Spd
~ U-Turn
~ Knock Off
~ Earthquake
~ Tailwind

Okay, I know this looks wierd XD
This Gliscor's purpose is to abuse switches that come out of switching into a physical attacker, or let the physical attack try and aimlessly scratch at Gliscor's defenses. U-Turn is for the chain, Knock Off takes off annoying Eviolite's and Leftover's of defensive Pokemon, while Tailwind can provide an out to a faster Pokemon. Earthquake's reasoning is mainly to take out Excadrill's, after popping their Air Balloons, and for a decent STAB, but with no attack investment, it's usually better off helping the rest of the team.

Water is resisted by Celebi, Gyarados, and Rotom - W. Ice is resisted by Rotom - W, and Scizor, and Heatran.

@ Leftovers
Nature: Calm
Trait: Flash Fire
Ev's: 4 Def, 252 HP, 252 Sp. Def
~ Lava Plume
~ Toxic
~ Substitute
~ Roar

Heatran is part two of the Grass/Fire/Water core. This, if you didn't notice, and is my main answer to strong special sweepers like Latios or Thundurus. Lava Plume is used for the better burn chance then Fire Blast or Flamethrower, which can be deadly when you can barely damage Heatran, and it gets a free Substitute. It can also act as a utility by using Toxic and Roar to get rid of set-up sweepers.

By the way, it can survive a Super Effective Specs Surf from a Latios. XD

Water is resisted by Celebi, Rotom - W, and Gyarados, and Ground (Earthquake...) is resisted (or immune to) Gliscor, Celebi, and Gyarados.

@ Leftovers
Nature: Adamant
Trait: Intimidate
Ev's: 156 HP, 72 Atk, 96 Def, 184 Spd
~ Dragon Dance
~ Taunt
~ Waterfall
~ Bounce

Last part of F/W/G, Gyarados is a big defensive/offensive part of the team, having Taunt and Dragon Dance can really wreck defensive pokes, such as Ferrothorn and the likes. There really isn't much to explain here, other than Bounce. Bounce is used for double STAB, and can take out grass types, and even has a 30% paralysis chance.

Electric is resisted by (or immune) by Gliscor and Celebi. Rock is resisted by Rotom - W and Scizor.

Okay, thanks guys! Rate, subscribe... Whoops, wrong website!

Thundurus absolutely shreds this team, and you should never have no way to deal with the strongest pokemon in OU. I suggest running a choice scarf Rotom with Timid, 252 SpA/ 252 Spe/ 4 SpD, Hydro Pump, Volt-Switch, HP Fire/Grass, Trick. to at least give you a fighting chance.

There is a shitload of u-turn spam/ phazing on this team which forces a lot of switches. Yet, you do not have a single entry hazard to help abuse this!!!!! I suggest running Stealth Rocks over Substitute or Roar on Heatran.

Your Gliscor is just... wierd. This is a very defensive team so Tailwind has less effectiveness. The half a turn Tailwind lasts makes it even less useable. You already have Gyarados and Celebi to take on Fighting types. I suggest running Skarmory over Gliscor, this gives you another phazer and entry hazard user to abuse the switches this team forces, run Shed Shell (for Magnezone), Impish, 252 Hp/ 232 Def/ 24 Spe, Spikes, Roost, Whirlwind, Brave Bird.

Hazards do sound nice, and can also help me with these dang Landorus's running HP Ice... It sounds nice. However, I believe that Rotom - W will be able to scare Thundurus out with either a STAB Volt Switch or Hydro Pump.

It's nice to see someone finally giving Defensive Celebi (favorite poke srt :3) the love it deserves, so kudos to you. But, IMO, running Giga Drain, Leech Seed, and Recover on the same Poke is redundant. I recommend changing Leech Seed to Perish Song. Perish Song allows you to easily counter well played Baton Pass teams with Magic Bounce, and KOes any last Poke setupers the foe might still have. Even if it's against the theme, I think running U-Turn on Celebi is useless when you run Bold, so I would replace it with Stealth Rocks, giving you some hazards to abuse. Hope it helped :).

Hey, this is a cool u-turn team although I feel it could use some work. I do agree with the above in that Thundurus is a pretty big problem. Scarf Tyranitar would fit on this team pretty easily for this reason. It will provide you with weather support which can help you since Thundurus is most commonly found on drizzle based teams. Tyranitar will also help you against sun based teams as well since at the moment it seems like they could seriously be a problem. Running a set of stone edge / crunch / pursuit / superpower, jolly, maximum attack and speed will be the best possible set for Tyrantiar on this team.

This team would really benefit from spikes support. Spamming u-turn and volt switch on your opponent will cause you to gain the momentum; however most of the time they will simply be able to switch for free. Spikes will make it so that they are worn down very quickly and you can clean up with a many of your team members later in the match. Skarmory would work very well over Gliscor for this reason. Although it won't use u-turn or volt switch, it provides you with very important support, a check to similar threats that Gliscor did, and an extra dragon resist. A set with spikes / roost / brave bird / whirlwind, leftovers, impish, and a spread of 252 HP / 240 Def / 16 Spe will do well.

Celebi should really be running a nasty plot set over your current version. A bulkier set combined with Tyranitar will help you check most drizzle based teams which is especially helpful to this team, and its nice not to be completely walled by opposing Scizor / other steel types. A set with nasty plot / giga drain / hidden power [fire] / recover, modest, leftovers, and a spread of 228 HP / 240 SpA / 40 Spe will work. Heatran would do better with a set of stealth rock / flamethrower / toxic / roar as well. You could really use stealth rock on this team so that threats such as Volcarona and the like are much easier to take on, not to mention it really helps with the u-turn spamming. Finally, Rotom-W would be cool to test as a specs variant. It will provide you with instant offensive pressure if used with choice band Scizor and entry hazards. A set with volt switch / hydro pump / hidden power [fire] / trick, modest, and maximum special attack and speed should work just fine.

This is a pretty solid team, and it seems like you've done a good job building it. Good Luck.
