[SET COMMENTS]
Manaphy is a wallbreaker that can become very threatening thanks to Tail Glow. Manaphy has a great defensive typing and good natural bulk, allowing it to set up on and match up well against Heatran, Landorus-T, and Great Tusk. Manaphy has valuable coverage in Ice Beam, which helps against Dragon-types such as Dragonite, Raging Bolt, and Mega Latios. Manaphy also has access to Psychic, which allows it to better hit Toxapex and Mega Venusaur; this stops the former from using Haze. Manaphy could also choose to run Energy Ball to hit opposing Water-types like Alomomola, Slowbro, and Hisuian Samurott.

Manaphy is a powerful but often unreliable wallbreaker, as it is incredibly reliant on Tail Glow to set up. Manaphy struggles to set up on common Pokemon like Ferrothorn, Haze Toxapex, and Pokemon like Gholdengo, which can status it. In addition, Pokemon with more immediate power, like Zamazenta and Tapu Lele, can stop Manaphy from setting up or easily revenge kill it. This causes Manaphy to function best on hyper offense structures, as partners like Dragonite, Hatterene, and Volcarona break past the aforementioned Pokemon. Manaphy only struggles against Ferrothorn once it is set up, as Ferrothorn can take its boosted attacks comfortably, making Volcarona, Iron Moth, and Zamazenta, all of which can break past Ferrothorn, good teammates. Manaphy specifically thrives on Sticky Web hyper offense teams, thanks to Sticky Web making it harder for faster Pokemon like Tapu Koko or Ogerpon-W to revenge kill it. This means Sticky Web setters like Araquanid and Ribombee are valuable partners. Manaphy can also keep Sticky Web up by threatening common entry hazard removers like Great Tusk, Landorus-T, and Moltres. Manaphy is weak to priority from common Pokemon like Kingambit and Raging Bolt. Tapu Lele helps to solve Manaphy’s priority weakness with its Psychic Surge. In return, Manaphy is able to beat Pokemon like Heatran, Gholdengo, and Corviknight that Tapu Lele struggles to break past.

Tail Glow 3 Attacks Manaphy is a powerful setup sweeper which is able to quickly snowball by sharply raising its Special Attack stat using Tail Glow. Manaphy has valuable coverage in Ice Beam which helps against Pokemon such as Dragonite, Mega Latios Raging Bolt more relevant, and Garchomp. In addition to Ice Beam Manaphy also has access to Energy Ball to hit opposing Water Types like Alomomola, Dondozo, and Toxapex. Manaphy could also choose to run Psychic which allows it to better hit Toxapex and Mega Venusaur, Galarian Slowking, and Water Absorb Clodsire surf hits gking, and wabsorb clod is A. a shitmon and B. hit better by ice beam. Also switch the psychic and energy ball mentions around so psychic is first, first slash always first Manaphy has decent bulk and base 100 Speed allowing making it faster than meta staples such as Gholdengo, Great Tusk, and Landorus-T when fully invested in Speed. dex info Manaphy’s item of choice is leftovers allowing it to passively heal, which lets it take more hits from who?. Manaphy’s ability of hydration is often not useful as it heals Manaphy of any status at the end of the turn, but only when in rain. not needed

Due to being a powerful but often unreliable set up sweeper Manaphy function best on hyper offense structures. These structures have other powerful breakers and/or setup Pokemon that can help Manaphy sweep or Manaphy can help sweep by wearing down the opposing team through continuous offensive pressure really vague, give examples of said sweepers, what they do for mana, and what mana does back. This means a Sticky Web setter like Araquanid or Ribombee are valuable partners. Having a Gholdengo is also useful as it blocks the Sticky Webs from being removed not relevant to mana in particular, this is just for the archetype. Despite Manaphy’s power and coverage it still has numerous checks like Ferrothorn and Chansey, and Unaware Clodsire which are common Pokemon and can Manaphy often inconsistent you beat unaware clod with surf, and idrk what u were saying after that. Having other strong setup sweepers is crucial in fixing Manaphy’s inconsistency filler. It’s important to have setup sweepers like Roaring Moon, Dragonite, and Mega Charizard X that can easily break past Pokemon Manaphy struggles with, if said Pokemon are sent out this def needs rephrasing, just say how they beat aforementioned dudes and stuff like if said pokemon are sent out is like 100% filler. This allows your team to be apply constant pressure and allow for it to be easier for Manaphy to sweep, as your team isn’t all walled by the same Pokemon. also filler

Pokemon that out speed and resist or are immune you dont name any immunities to said priority like Landorus-T or Zamazenta switch order of these caus landorus doesnt resist shard are also helpful.

[SET COMMENTS]

Tail Glow 3 Attacks Manaphy is a powerful setup sweeper wallbreaker very unlikely it gets away with sweeping since its not that fast which is able to quickly snowball by sharply raising its Special Attack stat using Tail Glow manaphy doesnt snowball cuz its not like calyS where it gets boosts after kills, or like skeledirge that spams one move to boost and attack simulataneously; the removed is mostly dex info too; u can mention tail glow with something like "Manaphy is a powerful wallbreaker with access to Tail Glow" but its important u mention other attributes to manaphy like its solid natural bulk and good typing giving it nice setup oppurtunities against landoT, moltres, and mega scizor (for example ofc). Manaphy has valuable coverage in Ice Beam which helps against Pokemon Dragon-types such as Dragonite, Raging Bolt, and Garchomp Mega Latios ik medasus removed it but chomp dies to +3 surf anyways (also mlatios is relevant tf??) + up to u if u wanna mention Grass-types like serperior or rilla. In addition to Ice Beam filler Manaphy also has access to Psychic which allows it to better hit Toxapex and Mega Venasaur mention how it prevents the former from using haze reliably to stop manaphy's wallbreaking. Manaphy could also choose to run Energy Ball to hit opposing Water Types like Alomomola, Dondozo Slowbro C- mon shouldnt be mentioned really, and Hisuian Samurott. Manaphy’s item of choice is leftovers allowing it to passively heal after taking an attack from Pokemon like Tapu Koko or Wellspring. dex info alongside prob the worst 2 examples u couldve given (they both can ohko outright); if u wanna mention lefties u could say it lets it avoid a 2HKO from defensive landoT's earthquake, letting it setup more consistently

Due to being a powerful but often unreliable set up sweeper wallbreaker why is it unreliable? u could mention it being overly reliant on tail glow for breaking, or how its easy to out-offense, because of this Manaphy functions best on hyper offense structures. Manaphy struggles with Pokemon such as Chansey and this, arch and volcanion are the only mons id say manaphy rlly "struggles" with offensively and they're all too niche to mention imo so just stick with ferro Ferrothorn which can take its boosted attacks comfortably could mention it threatening back with pwhip (btw +3 ice beam doesnt 2hko standard ferro). Roaring Moon, Booster Attack Great Tusk, and Zamazenta are all good partners as they can break past special walls like Chansey. Volcarona can break past other Pokemon that can take Manaphy’s attacks, like Ferrothorn and Assualt Vest Melmetal. this can be structured better to mostly talk abt mons that beat ferro instead of "special walls" + av melm is a super inconsistent way of handling manaphy Manaphy specifically thrives on Sticky Web hyper offense thanks to Sticky Webs making it harder for faster Pokemon like Tapu Koko or Choice Scarfed Tapu Lele Ogerpon-W more consistent cuz it actually ohkoes it to revenge kill it. This means a Sticky Web setter like Araquanid or Ribombee are valuable partners mention how manaphy threatens hazard removal like tusk, treads, lando. Manaphy is also weak to priority from common Pokemon like Kingambit and Raging Bolt. Tapu Lele helps to solve Manaphy’s priority weakness using its psychic terrain with Psychic Surge. (AP) what does manaphy do for lele tho? (it beats steel and fire types) In addition faster priority like Weavile’s Ice Shard or Iron Valiant’s Vacuum Wave are helpful for beating priority. Pokemon that out take a hit from said priority like Zamazenta or Landorus-T are also helpful. this is just waffling ngl
